**What do you like best about Wunderkind?**

I like that Wunderkind helps me reach subscribers across devices that my ESP, Klaviyo, might miss. The team is responsive and they bring a wealth of know-how and best-in-class practices from extensive AB testing across thousands of clients. These strong AB testing ideas lead to consistent incremental revenue gains. Another positive is their integration with Klaviyo, giving me more control over my account. The initial setup was easy and mostly managed by the Wunderkind team.

**What do you dislike about Wunderkind?**

There's been high turnover of Wunderkind team members over time, which led to lapses in service and the feeling of constantly needing to start over again.

**What problems is Wunderkind solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Wunderkind to scale my email retargeting and reach subscribers on devices that my ESP might miss.

The team at Wunderkind are excellent to work with. They are responsive to ideas and suggestions and partner with you to find a strategy that works for your brand. The platform itself has made significant improvements in the past couple of years and works well with our existing ESP.

**What do you dislike about Wunderkind?**

Although their platform has made significant progress in allowing users to manage their own content, there are still some limitations when compared to the user-friendliness typically offered by most ESP platforms.

**What problems is Wunderkind solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Wunderkind assists with identify resolution on our ecommerce site, allowing us to remarket to more consumers than our standalone ESP. They also assist with creation of the content and strategy when bandwidth is spread thin across my team.

**What do you dislike about Wunderkind?**

We have been a Wunderkind client for over a year and have paid substantial fees during this period. While the platform itself functions, it requires significantly higher spend than comparable solutions in the market.

Unfortunately, during our engagement, the mishandling of our Black Friday/Cyber Monday flows resulted in direct revenue losses of more than USD 15,000. Under the termination provisions of our agreement, we are within our rights to exit the contract. Despite this, Wunderkind has declined to honor the clause, which we view as unacceptable. And keep sending invoices, even now.

What's more, at the beginning of the engagement we were getting on calls with the AM multiple times a quarter, but this decreased to once a quarter.

Wunderkind can identify users that aren't logged in but are in their database and send them emails.

**What do you like best about Wunderkind?**

Wunderkind truly feels like an extension of our internal team. With a small CRM and retention group working in a fast-paced, pop culture-driven environment, we need to stay agile and adaptable in our planning. Wunderkind has proven to be an excellent partner in this setting, always showing understanding and flexibility, especially when we need to make last-minute changes. Our account partner and their team have taken the time to get to know our business and customer profiles, tailoring their recommendations accordingly. Each month, our account team manages tests and optimizations for us, continually building on their suggestions. They are also very open to our feedback, considering new test ideas and evaluating them against industry best practices.

We rely on Wunderkind for onsite capture, email automations, and our SMS program, and we receive strong account support across all these areas—from reporting and troubleshooting to quick-turn design updates. The platform itself is user-friendly and intuitive for our team, no matter their experience level.

I also want to mention that everyone I’ve interacted with at Wunderkind has been genuinely friendly and enthusiastic about strengthening and personalizing our partnership. We are very satisfied with Wunderkind and look forward to continuing our collaboration!

**What do you dislike about Wunderkind?**

Since we started using Wunderkind, we've expanded our mar-tech stack by adding a new ESP and CDP. Our goal is to integrate Wunderkind data so that our various programs can communicate with each other, ultimately creating a smoother user experience and journey. However, this integration has been challenging because each program operates differently. Despite this, when we brought these concerns to our account team, they took the time to thoroughly explore the situation and identify possible integration points to help us build a more connected digital marketing ecosystem. We truly appreciate their efforts, as this process has required significant digital investigation and time, but it promises to strengthen our partnership and foster better collaboration across our business.

Wunderkind provides identity resolution and tracking, which helps create a personalized user experience through email or SMS based on the customer's search and add-to-cart history.

Wunderkind is always there to help bring new ideas and opportunities to ensure the business continues to grow. The team's service is far beyond my expectations, and they are a pleasure to work with.

**What do you dislike about Wunderkind?**

The one downside we had with Wunderkind was when we first launched; we ran into some deliverability issues for email. However, they were there the entire time to ensure and help us get our deliverability score back up to where we could expect.

**What problems is Wunderkind solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Wunderkind has solved the decrease in email and SMS signups. They have also significantly impacted our overall email strategy, ensuring email continues to be one of our best marketing drivers. We have recently switched to their SMS program, which solved our performance downturn in that channel and have added more than double of SMS signups than our previous provider. Not only did we see an uptick in ROAS, but we are also seeing massive growth in the channel.

The customer service is always top tier.  They are always thinking ahead and applying best practices to recommendations.  If we ever have emergency updates, they are happy to jump in and work through them in an efficient and effective manner.

I love the reporting dashboard, which I use on a regular basis.

There isn't much to dislike about them.  They have been great partners.

Their ability to identify anonymous traffic and convert it through well-timed email  has meaningfully outperformed other expectations. Beyond performance, the team has been exceptional to work with - strategic, proactive, and solutions-oriented. They’ve made integration easy and continuously bring ideas to optimize our customer journey which is hugely appreciated.

Not a lot comes to mind but as a luxury consumer brand that deeply values creative excellence, we see an opportunity to push further on visual and copy experimentation. While Wunderkind’s templates are optimized for performance, we’d love more flexibility to test different creative approaches - especially as we think about reinforcing our brand identity through every touchpoint. With more proactive iteration and collaboration on visuals and messaging, we believe we can unlock even greater results.

**What do you like best about Wunderkind?**

The platform functionality is sophisitcated and allows us to capture a wide range of people and enter them into a very customizable funnel to help drive conversions aligned to our business goals. The partnership team we have in place is very knowledgebable and hands on, they truly understand our business, our objectives, opportunities, etc. Also, I feel the price is reasonable, often providing a more efficient CPA.

The biggest challenge I see is ensuring we are not providing the Wunderkind experience to people who should not receive it. Validating we are hitting the right people isn't always very clear.

Our primary focus is to acquire new customers/members into our organization. Wunderkind is helping us provide a solution to reach those that engage with us on our website but utlimately leave and don't immediately convert. Through this retargeting and customized series of communications through the Wunderkind platform, we're confident we're now reaching people we may have let fall off previously.

Working with Wunderkind has enabled us to take full advantage of the traffic driven to our site by our marketing campaigns. Through their technology we are able to identify this traffic and then take action by executing retargeting campaigns. As a result, we drive additional and meaningful conversions month after month. We greatly value both the service and relationship and plan to continue to use it as an effective digital marketing tactic.

Wunderkind is still seen as the best ID resolution partner for site retargeting emails  (cart/browse abandon) even as tech changes. Their people are good to work with and they're making strides in providing a user-friendly platform to give clients more autonomy over their campaigns without abandoning their hands-on service model.

**What do you dislike about Wunderkind?**

Their ID graph solution is a black box and I am not certain that the changes in online security measures and changes to cookie rules are not hurting their match rate. The question is always "our match rate is down, but is this a symptom of a broader ID deterioration on the internet or is Wunderkind's supremacy slipping?"

I love Katherine with whom I work, she answers very quietly, her reports are complete and clear. 
She is very flexible, when I ask about changing an asset or ask for more details or feedback or I notice something that is not working.

Maybe more help on creating asset - etc GIF or adding timer on an asset.
Also, it would be great if Wunderkind can help making birthday triggers or something more deep about customers loyalty.

It's traffic de-anonymization and prospecting works just like magic. We're constantly developing new ways to unlock new opportunities that leverages retargeting as a practice and Wunderkind has been at the heart of this maneuverability.

Data granularity can be a challenge, but it's systems weren't built for sku-level management. Of course, we've found a way to work around that.

**What do you like best about Wunderkind?**

Our ability to capture onsite behaviors and send retargeted emails via ID resolution helps our business create a more personalized shopping experience. We have over 15 campaigns in the market. We work closely with our CSM(s) to review campaign performance and optimize as needed. Over the past several years as a partner, we've completed A/B testing of links, email content, subject lines, timing, and frequency. We've incorporated and introduced various on-site email capture forms to increase our subscriber list during our most pivotal sale periods. The Wunderkind Client Success team is extremely responsive and professional. We built a wonderful working relationship and valued their insights, feedback, and support to our organization - thus viewing them as an extension of our nimble team.

**What do you dislike about Wunderkind?**

It can take longer than anticipated for our team to go live with a new campaign or make edits/optimizations. Similarly, there are complexities in the reporting between Wunderkind and Audiences platforms.  I'm hopeful the new Autonomous Marketing Platform will resolve some of the pitfalls.

**What problems is Wunderkind solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Wunderkind is helping us build our email subscriber list and retarget consumers at select points within their purchase journey - for both prospects and existing customers.

The closest I can land to that mark is that because it is a concierge service we're not permitted to do anything... sometimes that slows things down or requests get lost in translation. **What do you like best about Wunderkind?**

$$$. Using Wunderkind is all about driving more revenue through behavioral email and SMS flows. Their identification tech leads to more send volume on our highest converting flows. We've also been lucky to work with awesome account managers that know our business well which is a plus. I've utilized Wunderkind at my last 3 brands so that tells you something. I've used Wunderkind mostly while being on Salesforce Commerce Cloud but we are now migrating to Shopify Plus and have a new Shopify app that greatly reduces the level of integration effort.

**What do you dislike about Wunderkind?**

The biggest objection is always price as it is priced of the revenue they are driving versus a flat fee. There are many low priced solutions on the market that do some of what Wunderkind does, but doing a true A/B test is very difficult. Beyond that, we've had some minor issues in the past with the ability to exclude items or make certain customization. Because their service is white glove, they've never had the greatest customer facing portal but they are currently improving those things and adding more self-serve features.

Wunderkind allows us to identify a much higher percentage of our website visitors that we'd be able to with an OOTB Klaviyo integration. By identifying more users and their actions, we're able to deploy a higher volume of high-converting emails and SMS.

Wunderkind is an exceptional service for e-mail acquisition. They're happy to A/B test various options to ensure maximum conversion on site. We saw massive gains to our flow sales through e-mail as well with various forms of retargeting that Wunderkind has mastery over.

Wunderkind is an expensive service. The trade-off for the white glove service is a 60k annual bill to handle email and sms flows for us. It's a net positive return on investment, but it doesn't come cheap.

The upside is that their engagement is proven to surpass benchmarks due to post-click content and high impact ad types, the reps are helpful and responsive, the process is easy and light on the agency/client, and the publishers are premium.

The downside of using Wunderkind is getting client alignment on high impact campaign designs. We need to improve ways to get the client to think more creatively. **What do you like best about Wunderkind?**

The technology that Wunderkind has to help identify traffic has really impacted our business in a positive way.  We got so many more ppl signed up for both our email and SMS lists.  On top of that it's the team behind the tech that really keeps the business growing.  They're smart and always looking for new testing opportunitiy.

**What do you dislike about Wunderkind?**

Some approvements to the SMS side of business to get closer to an attentive capability would be useful.

We brought Wunderkind on to help define traffic to the site as prospects vs customers.

**What do you like best about Wunderkind?**

Wunderkind is more of a data product than a marketing product. The marketing product is an excellent utilization of the data part. Regarding where identity is headed and the rules regarding what companies can and cannot see, 1st party data is critical to future success. And wunderkind is a crucial component for us.

**What do you dislike about Wunderkind?**

They over-promise on time to deliver their product and services to meet go-to-market needs. But the performance once live makes up for this.

Connecting the thread that binds our customers across channels and making them known to us.

Working with the Wunderkind team has been great. They are very friendly and knowledgeable.

Showing the value of the tool has been a challenge and Wunderkind didn't do a great job of explaining to leadership.

Wunderkind manages our abandonment emails as well as our onsite email captures.

**What do you like best about Wunderkind?**

Wunderkind has been a great asset to our lead growth and CRM communications, both in email and SMS. The team is quick to turn new requests around and troubleshoots any bugs or technical issues in a timely manner.

**What do you dislike about Wunderkind?**

While the team does a great job of making tweaks and turning around new creative for lead capture assets on the site, it would be great to be able to make some of these changes ourselves for even faster results. The ability to A/B test within the platform would also be useful. The reporting functionality is ok for high level performance metrics but could be more robust.

**What problems is Wunderkind solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Wunderkind has helped us grow our email and SMS audience lists and incentivize upper funnel subscribers to convert.  They continue to help identify new areas of opportunity for both our lead capture and SMS programs.
