What do you like best about WSO2 API Manager?

The best thing is the Open-source nature of the product, which makes it more dynamic.

I think we can have a little more detailed documentation for all the wso2 products.

Clarity on what all features are added to the newer versions and what all is deprecated from the previous one.

WSO2 provides a clean and intuitive user interface for both subscribers and business partners. It is also compact with all API features like security, API console, swagger, etc.

What do you like best about WSO2 API Manager?

An enhanced user interface for managing the API lifecycle and for integrations, Optimization the API development life cycle.

What I like the most is the Revision option which gives an option to roll back to the previous version of the API definition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WSO2 API Manager?

Workflow configuration requires a lot of changes to the Product level, Like adding Email Templates for the Email notifications and SMS notifications are not able Out of the box, Which is required for API Management and review for the API Providers.

Configuring an External Identity server requires a lot of activities to be performed on both sides of the application, It has inconsistent Data synchronization.

Custom roles applying are syncing as required.

API Manager should provision SSL Offloading and SSL Bypassing at the API level to be performed where Backend needs to bypass the certificate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

API Manager is a very powerful and best open source API management platform, in my opinion. We have been using it since 2016 and all our customers have been impressed with it so far. What do you dislike about WSO2 API Manager?

There is nothing that I dislike about Wso2 API Manager, however we think Wso2 API manger can integrate with several other industry Identity Providers for key management. What problems is WSO2 API Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?

In order to have one single point of access to all APIs, we have been looking for API Gateway solutions. WSO2 API manager provides everything we need, including OAuth 2.0 authentication, throttling, and the ability to publish rest and soap APIs. It has burst control throttling configuration at the API level to protect backends, and it has application level throttling which we use to implement customer-specific limits. WSO2 Manager can send applications and other information to the backend as JWT tokens, which can be used to implement fine-grained authorization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

To get a token we need to pass client-id and client secret in base64 format, here if we know client-id and client secret base64 format can easily be decoded so we can make some encryption and decryption processes for this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Initially, we had an issue while setting up WSO2 because in many places configuration files need to be changed but later in WSO2 3.0 version we have to change only
