It is easy for me to use and provides a smooth experience for my customers too. What do you dislike about WriteUpp? There is a lot of functionality available, which is great, but it can feel a little overwhelming when you're first setting up. WriteUpp has solved one of the biggest challenges of running a clinic: keeping appointments organised and managing my diary efficiently. Having everything in one place saves me time and helps reduce the risk of missed bookings or double bookings. I appreciate that WriteUpp stores everything in one place, so I don't have to worry about having information scattered across different platforms. I like how easy it is to input a note or an expense on the app when I'm out and about on visits, which I can do quickly and it saves me a lot of time when I get back home. This feature really helps me keep up to date with notes and expenses on the go, and it helps me stay focused on my next sessions, making me more productive. I was looking to make a switch in my practice, and the setup is easy. It’s more intuitive than Owl Practice, and the customer service has been quick, knowledgable and there when I need it. I don't have to wait hours or days to get a live person for support. I was able to transfer client files securely and without much hassle. The pricing is also extremely competitive. The main one is that WriteUpp requires a specific .csv format for importing files, which means I have to spend extra time making sure the .csv from my previous provider is set up correctly. It would save time if I could customize the import to match my incoming file format. That would also let me keep working in a format that fits how my continuity of care is already organised, rather than having to learn a new system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is WriteUpp solving and how is that benefiting you? I had three areas I needed to improve: 1) more customization so I could decolonize my note-taking practice while using AI; 2) a client interaction and record-keeping system where video sessions were optional (I use PlaySpace for my actual client sessions because of the immense creativity available in that system); and 3) reducing the monthly cost of client record-keeping and billing while still improving my ability to offer the best client experience. WriteUpp improved all three of these. First, it has AI note-taking that I don't have to "add on for another monthly fee" and allows better customization than my previous provider. Second, record-keeping is the primary focus, and I’m not paying a lot extra for a subpar video service like I was with my previous provider. Third, it accomplished all of this while reducing my costs by 25–30% per month. It’s also integrating with PlaySpace, which brings everything together for me. I have been with WriteUpp for a few years and find it consistently excellent, especially in terms of customer service and platform usability. It's very easy to use, and I really enjoy it. The staff are fantastic, resolving issues quickly, and they take user suggestions into account, integrating improvements effectively. I like the ability to upload forms and have them transformed into the WriteUpp format, which is really helpful. Sending emails directly to patients securely is another feature I appreciate. All aspects of WriteUpp are excellent. The setup is really easy, and when I have used an admin assistant, they found it effortless to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about WriteUpp? I use a lot of templates and often find the templates I want to use are too large. So I have to do a dumbed down version of the template I would like. Then, I have to edit that for each patient, which is time consuming. Also, it would also be really helpful if I could time messages to patients. So if I see a patient and want to send them a follow-up in about three months' time, it'd be nice if I could set that up within the system. At the moment, I use Google to do that. I've had a few weeks to try out WriteUpp and now I'm used to the software, it is really benefiting my private practice - ALL the staff are incredibly helpful and easy-to-reach and it's been so helpful having them on hand to really personalise my experience. Every one I have spoken to has helped me with something new (special shout out to everyone on the chat function and also Emma.P, Clare B, and Liam M) I love that I've been able to personalise my own diary so it looks and feels like everything I need. It has taken me a little while to familiarise myself with everything - this it totally normal with any new software. But with the team's help, this seems a distant memory! I tested out the inbuilt video call feature but I wasn't a fan as the camera appears to be flipped which is a little distracting - not the end of the world so I am sticking with using MS Teams/Zoom for my sessions. I would love an inbuilt spelling/grammar checker which would capitalise automatically and insert apostrophes (though I have spoken to the team about this and believe there are solutions for me to explore) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. I really like WriteUpp because of the ease it offers, especially compared to having paper notes everywhere. The platform provides easy access at a click of a button, which makes being organized a whole lot simpler. I also love how the customizable templates give me the freedom to edit them to my needs, a feature that is simply a huge bonus and not something available on other platforms. I think it's really valuable that the templates can be adjusted to suit individual needs, making it easier for everyone to use them in their way. Besides that, the staff's responsiveness is excellent; having someone on the phone or via email who provides that personal touch means a lot, especially since I've dealt with many other platforms where it's just a bot or AI. It's reassuring to know they're always there to help, and that truly makes a difference. I use WriteUpp as a therapist with student counselors for booking appointments, note keeping, and securing data. I love how much you can do on it, especially with the pre-made forms and worksheets that my students can send to their clients before sessions, saving time and being paperless. The readily available forms like the GAD and PHQ are fabulous as they automatically trigger to clients' inboxes through the diary entry. The worksheets, especially CBT ones, are helpful as everything is in one place. What do you dislike about WriteUpp? I would love to collate data as an organization specifically on outcome measures. It would be handy for me to have data that could prove the effectiveness of my students' free therapy sessions.
