There's an arbitrary cap of 5 users for anything that's not an enterprise plan (no option to pay for additional users) and the plugins are only really available on a per-software basis (meaning you'll have to find and install a plugin for every app you intend on using — vs their competitor that has a comprehensive desktop plugin). Since the last time I've tried out Writer, they've also seemed to lean so hard on the AI side that it feels like they wished they could just erase their original business concept — which doesn't make me want to invest in their software in the long term. It's very easy to use. You jump right in and ask your question and you'll get your answer. There are the prebuilt templates but I rarely use them and I imagine they're really good. I sometimes find the outputs to be a little less "sharp" than the ones I get from ChatGPT. ChatGPT comes off like a very smart and funny friend. What I think needs improvement is the AI detection. For example, the last article I tested was roughly 1200 words and written entirely by AI, and the results were "87% human-written content."
