"Highly Functional, but Pricey"
4/5
What do you like best about Wrike?

I like how Wrike keeps our projects organized and helps in assigning tasks. Communication is effective, and important details are documented, keeping everyone on the same page. I appreciate the ease of use and reporting. The timesheets are wonderful to print off each week, tying each hour to a task. Wrike is also crucial for accuracy when creating payroll, and the reporting of hours is essential for cost analysis of projects. The initial setup was pretty easy, and training on Wrike for regular users is straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

The pricing keeps going up. Users have to be purchased in lots of 5. There is a new Pinnacle level and the price jump from base to Pinnacle is quite significant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Wrike streamlines teamwork with powerful project tracking and customizable workflows."
5/5
What do you like best about Wrike?

I really like Wrike’s flexibility—its customizable workflows adapt seamlessly to different project styles and team needs. The real-time collaboration features make it easy to stay aligned, reduce back-and-forth, and keep work moving efficiently. Overall, it helps bring structure and visibility to our projects without feeling rigid. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

Wrike could improve by making the initial user experience more intuitive, especially for new or non-technical users. A simpler onboarding flow, guided tutorials, or role-based views could help users get comfortable faster and start adding value right away. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Karilla Dyer of Wrike

Thank you for sharing this feedback! It’s great to hear that Wrike’s customizable workflows and real-time collaboration are helping your team stay aligned and efficient, no matter the project style. Having everything in one place really does make it easier to manage complex projects, track progress, and keep communication clear.

The point about the interface feeling overwhelming at first is understandable, especially for those new to project management tools. To help with this, there are options to simplify the workspace—such as customizing dashboards, using templates, or focusing on just the features your team needs most. If there’s interest, we can share tips or resources to make the onboarding process smoother for everyone.

It’s wonderful to know that Wrike is reducing confusion, improving accountability, and saving time across teams. If there are any specific areas where more guidance would be helpful, just let us know. We’re here to support your team in getting the most out of Wrike!

"Difficult to follow projects"
2/5
What do you like best about Wrike?

The Kanban view is great and helps with following tasks and projects advancement! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

Wrike is difficult to customize. We went from Wrike to Notion for this exact reason. Notion offers many macros and automations that Wrike do not offer yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Karilla Dyer of Wrike

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with Wrike. We appreciate your feedback—both the positives and the areas where we have room to improve.

We’re glad to hear that you find the search feature efficient, though we understand your frustration with project visibility and navigation. Making it easier to follow developer tasks and track project progression is something we’re actively working on. We also hear your point about the desire for a Kanban view and simplifying filters—these are valuable insights that we’ve shared with our product team.

It’s great to know Wrike is supporting your work in bug resolution, onboarding, and project management. We hope to continue improving your experience so these use cases—and more—feel even more intuitive moving forward.

If you're open to it, we’d love to learn more about your specific workflow so we can better support your team. Thanks again for helping us improve.

"Efficient Organization with Potential for Improvement in the Interface"
4/5
What do you like best about Wrike?

I really like the organization and flexibility with which you can assign elements and sub-tasks to each project, in addition to being able to control and manage your team efficiently. These features are valuable as they allow me to keep track of the team and their daily, weekly, and monthly tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

The interface is not very intuitive for people who have never used it before. Create a more user-friendly interface for new users to avoid errors in user time tracking, and this would help companies have fewer issues when it comes to payroll. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

5/5
What do you like best about Wrike?

What I like most about Wrike is its automation features. They make it much easier to automate tasks between users and help reduce manual work and labor costs. The implementation was straightforward, and the platform feels very innovative. It also doesn’t take much training to learn how to use Wrike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

I disklike that wrike does not separate images and files that were uploaded at different times in the files section. It can be come tedious searching through multiple files to figure out which one is the updated version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralised Tracking of Dependencies, Resources, Budget and KPIs with Wrike"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Wrike?

Wrike allows me to track all my dependencies, resources, budget, and KPIs in one place. Everything is centralized and easy for the team to access, which makes it simpler to stay aligned and keep an overview of the work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

For additional seats per user, you can only increase the count in increments of five. This complicates things and creates barriers during testing when trying to expand Wrike to other departments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Practical, scalable work management for small teams"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Wrike?

Wrike centralizes client work, approvals, and task ownership so our 5-person team isn’t chasing threads across email and chat. Dashboards and workload views give me a real-time picture of project health, and automations remove repetitive follow-ups so we move faster without growing headcount. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

Customer support can be slow and occasionally generic, which is frustrating when we hit a blocker. There’s also a learning curve and a few UI quirks for new hires — nothing crippling, but it takes an intentional onboarding effort to get people productive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
