Important to note, that in aviation capacity is not just about hours. It is about legal flight-time limitations. I like that I can use People mode to monitor pilot and cabin crew fatigue, by seeing their daily effort. The color-coding (red for over-capacity) is very important check to ensure no crew member is scheduled beyond regularity limits.
During seasonal schedule changes, we often have 'floating' flights or maintance tasks that havent been assined to a specific tail number yet. I like that I can keep these in the Backlog box and drag them into the grid once an aircraft becomes available.
Every flight goes through a strict stages. (Draft - Slot Confirmed - Boarding - In-Flight - Confirmed). I like that I can use Custom Workflows to track these specific stages rather than using generic todo statuses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Few moments I would like to mention.
In everyday workspace, we deal with massiv PDF manuals, Flight plans and safety reports. The file storage limit error is significant risk for us.
Also, from my experience, I see the email integration is sensitive. We receive hundres of status updates via email from various outstations. If an update fails just because the email's subject starts with -RE, or the formatting is slightly off, we risk missing critical updates on flight delays. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
