"Powerful Project Organization with Forms, Custom Fields, and Automation"
5/5
What do you like best about Wrike?

I can organize projects and tasks so nothing gets lost or forgotten. Forms, custom item types, custom fields, folders, and automation all help me keep my team organized, aligned, and working efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

I dislike that, since I’m only a space administrator, I can’t customize my default workflow or task type. Those changes can only be made at the admin level. I also dislike that I can’t create the blueprint automations I need. In addition, I’d like the ability to plug in a standard “your project is closed” message when I complete an intake form for a project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A robust, flexible project management platform that scales well with complex teams"
4/5
What do you like best about Wrike?

One thing I’ve increasingly appreciated is how well Wrike supports cross-functional collaboration at scale. As projects have grown more complex, the ability to structure work using folders, spaces, and custom fields has made it much easier to keep visibility without losing control. Reporting and dashboards have also become more valuable over time, once properly set up, they provide a clear, real-time view of progress and bottlenecks, which is especially useful for stakeholder updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

While Wrike is very powerful, it can still feel heavy for simpler use cases. New users often need guidance to avoid over-engineering workflows early on. Some actions also require more clicks than expected, particularly when editing multiple tasks or fields in bulk. The mobile experience has improved slightly, but it still doesn’t fully match the desktop version in terms of speed and ease of use for managing detailed tasks on the go. Response from Karilla Dyer of Wrike

Thanks for such a detailed and thoughtful review!

It’s great to hear how much you value Wrike’s flexibility with different project views and how features like task dependencies, automations, and in-task collaboration have helped streamline your team’s communication. Having everything in one place really does make a difference, especially when you’re managing multiple projects and stakeholders.

I totally get what you mean about the interface feeling a bit overwhelming, especially for new users. If you haven’t already, you might find it helpful to create custom dashboards or hide some of the advanced features your team doesn’t use as often—this can make things feel a bit less cluttered. For the mobile app, Wrike is always working on improvements, but in the meantime, setting up shortcuts to your most-used spaces or views can help make navigation a little easier.

As for notifications, it’s definitely worth taking a few minutes to fine-tune your settings so you only get the alerts that matter most to you. If you need a hand with that, I can point you to a quick guide or some best practices.

If you have any other suggestions for making Wrike even better, or want to swap tips for onboarding new team members, just let me know. Thanks again for sharing your experience and insights!

"Simple Interface, Seamless Real-Time Collaboration and Instant Reporting"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Wrike?

I like how wrike uses simple interface and great user experience technique. The Project helps in seamless connectivity with the global team on a realtime basis and supports report generation and sharing at an instant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

Sometimes I don't like the usability where it forces me to open the project from the scratch if I close any popup window of any subtask of a project's task. There are minor things which Wrike can get better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great product for small team's sprint planning - using multiple collaboration projects, personal planning projects, Automations"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Wrike?

We onboarded close to 3 projects on Wrike - special projects, L2 projects, and L3 projects. The ability for developers to add bugs directly in Parking lots when there is a bug we find - and every now and then we combine to address the bugs that are open or feature requests as we have bandwidth.

We update and close the features when development is done and the email alerts help us stay on top. The automations on fields are also something we are exploring. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

There is limited use of AI to improve workflows or AI based templates to get started.

The alerting or weekly reports will be a good option so that I do not lose track of some projects.

Alerting on open items will be helpful every week or biweekly.

Weekly productivity score for teammates will be helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Karilla Dyer of Wrike

We're glad to hear that you're enjoying the ability to create separate projects and track progress, as well as the features like Parking Lots, In Progress, and Complete. We understand that the UI can be overwhelming with so many options, and we're continuously working on improving the user experience.

"Very helpful software for collaboration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Wrike?

Update: Wrike now features integration with Microsoft Copilot, enabling users to use AI-powered insights directly within the platform. This means smarter, context‑aware workflows by connecting Wrike’s project data with Copilot’s AI capabilities, helping teams quickly find information, generate insights, and make decisions faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

it is a powerful program, but 1) I with the user interface was a little cleaner and beginner friendly. Also 2) would love to see wrike launch an integrated "gaming" mode (opt in only). That took the tasks assigned to you and gamified them, creating daily challenges for logging in, completing tasks, keeping a clean inbox, hitting milestones on time, etc. advancements could include pier on pier Challenges, team challenges and web challenges? (invite only) 3) being able to send kudos to team members, and have a team kudos boards where all awards could be seen. 4) focus mode. where all distractions could be removed. 5) being able to split screen and project folders on one screen and open task on a second screen. Response from Karilla Dyer of Wrike

Thank you for your detailed review! We're glad to hear that Wrike’s features—like task tracking, Gantt charts, dashboards, time tracking, and real-time collaboration—are helping your team stay organized and efficient. It’s great to know that integrations with tools like Slack, Google Workspace, and Adobe, along with mobile access and custom reports, are making project management smoother and more productive for you.

"Wrike Keeps Projects on Track with Strong Visuals, Reminders, and Filtering"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Wrike?

Wrike does a great job of helping keep our employees on track with projects, and it offers strong visuals. It’s easy to set up reminders and assign tasks to people, which gives us a clear view of what needs to happen across projects and timelines. Wrike also has great filtering, so you can choose to see only the tasks assigned to you, or even create specific pages that show what’s due today, this week, and in other scenarios. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

Wrike’s desktop app for Mac has had authentication issues when using certificates for MFA. The certificates don’t get pulled into the application, so I have to rely on other MFA methods to authenticate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good for project management with colleagues, not very useful as a personal to-do list"
3/5
What do you like best about Wrike?

Wrike has a plethora of opportunities for collaboration and project tracking. It is helpful when managing tasks with colleagues (especially across departments). From Gantt charts to actual task tracking to a calendar view, it is a very helpful tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

As a project management tool, Wrike has all of the right features! In the future, I would like to see more options for a personal to-do list so that all of my tasks can be viewed in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Karilla Dyer of Wrike

Thank you for sharing this honest feedback! It’s great to hear that Wrike is helping streamline project tracking and collaboration across different teams and offices. The variety of project views and timeline options are designed to support complex teamwork and make it easier to stay aligned with colleagues.

The point about Wrike not being ideal as a personal to-do list is understandable. Wrike is built primarily for project and team management, so it can feel a bit heavy for simple, individual task tracking—especially if tasks don’t always have clear start and end dates. For personal to-dos, sometimes a simpler tool like a Google Sheet or a dedicated to-do list app can be more straightforward.

If there’s ever interest in making Wrike work better for personal task management, there are ways to customize dashboards or use My To-Do and custom widgets to create a more focused, personal view. Otherwise, it’s perfectly reasonable to use Wrike for team projects and another tool for individual lists. If you’d like tips on either approach, just let us know—we’re here to help!

"Great Platform for Managing Projects and Team Collaboration"
5/5
What do you like best about Wrike?

Wrike makes it easy to keep projects organized and ensures everyone knows what they need to work on. I particularly like the task dependencies, project timelines, and customizable dashboards, which provide a clear view of progress and upcoming deadlines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

The learning curve can be a bit steep for new users due to the number of features available. Some settings and configuration options are not always intuitive, especially when building more advanced workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"This is how we implemented Wrike for our needs."
4/5
What do you like best about Wrike?

Important to note, that in aviation capacity is not just about hours. It is about legal flight-time limitations. I like that I can use People mode to monitor pilot and cabin crew fatigue, by seeing their daily effort. The color-coding (red for over-capacity) is very important check to ensure no crew member is scheduled beyond regularity limits.

During seasonal schedule changes, we often have 'floating' flights or maintance tasks that havent been assined to a specific tail number yet. I like that I can keep these in the Backlog box and drag them into the grid once an aircraft becomes available.

Every flight goes through a strict stages. (Draft - Slot Confirmed - Boarding - In-Flight - Confirmed). I like that I can use Custom Workflows to track these specific stages rather than using generic todo statuses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

Few moments I would like to mention.

In everyday workspace, we deal with massiv PDF manuals, Flight plans and safety reports. The file storage limit error is significant risk for us.

Also, from my experience, I see the email integration is sensitive. We receive hundres of status updates via email from various outstations. If an update fails just because the email's subject starts with -RE, or the formatting is slightly off, we risk missing critical updates on flight delays. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
