I like being blessed to collaborate with my co-workers about tasks. I like that the dashboard is customizable. I always have some tasks that Information Technology holds me up on, so I put some tasks in this box via a tag so that I don't forget about them in the meantime. There are a couple of things we have yet to take advantage of. There appears to be an integration with Microsoft Power Automate to automate some tasks. This may be because we don't understand the tool well enough, but it's difficult when you have attachments in one step of a projects. You have to remember to move or copy them to the next step. Wrike is one of those softwares that provide user with the flexibility to customize workflows, add custom fields & confirgure the same for reporting without intervention from Support team. The customization help to cater to company specific & department specific requirements. The easy to configure APi's also help in connecting to our internal systems, which also help in using Wrike as a single source of truth for all pMO activties. To activate the custom fields, you need to raise aticket, while the intent is understood, atleast company asmin should have access to this. We can set up blueprints for our typical projects and add as many people as we need. Time tracking is simple and straightforward, and reporting is great, allowing us to pull time reports at the end of the month and bill our clients easily. The capacity and workload management feature is important as it helps us during our weekly stand-ups to see what's on everyone's plate, making it easy to know who is available for more projects or who might need assistance. Blueprints are particularly handy as they save time by being repeatable, with people and work times already assigned. I think there's a little bit of a learning curve at the beginning to get everything set up and understand how it works. I think there's some features like the to do list which nobody uses because it's not that helpful. We were trained to use dashboards instead, and that's been much better. The tool helps us track how many campaigns we have planned and currently running in order to properly plan so we can better set our expectations. Wrike helps us track product launches as well. The learning curve can be quite steep. We have a few people on our team who still struggle with it. If your projects aren't set up properly, it can become tedious to fix. I like the visual layout which is similar to other brand-name PM software products I have used throughout my career (I find Wrike to be a huge improvement to Basecamp, kind of like Trello in the array of layouts you can use, and really similar visually/functionally to ClickUp and Teamwork). I don't love the email notification function; as the Account Lead/Project Manager for my projects, I seem to get a lot of Wrike-related emails, more than I could ever read in one lifetime and it's not immediately clear how to turn them off for certain tasks or actions. On the day-to-day, Wrike helps facilitate creative updates and reviews while providing a useful record (paper trail) of what happened on projects. It works MUCH better than email for tracking long-term projects and document versions, especially those with multiple rounds of editing and review. Recently, I used the External Review function to share important document drafts with stakeholders outside of my direct group. It was really useful and cemented Wrike as a cross-functional/cross-department tool for our company! We also use Wrike to post "out of office" lists for our coworkers to cover while we are sick or on vacation, and Wrike makes it easy to link all the relevant projects and tasks right there. I love the dashboard feature, and working within the projects is straightforward. Our company switched from a competitor, and Wrike was definitely the better choice. I wish the request forms were more built out and easier to create. Dating tasks and subtasks can be confusing on the dashboard view when working with a date range. These tasks range from things like grand openings, customer events, product promotions, large fundraising concerts, trade shows, etc. We could never keep track of all of the tasks that our design, digital, and field teams would have to manage without Wrike.
