Out of so many hosting and/or WordPress related services provider, WPMU is the best. They not just solve issue/support needed under their watch, but other than WPMU plugins or hosting, they are more than happy to assist you. I have been a member of this platform for over five years and have seen its business model shift from multisite services to a focus on support and hosting. I decided to terminate my agency-level membership due to concerns about its renewal pricing policy. The renewal price is significantly higher than the advertised price for new users, yet this difference is not clearly disclosed on their website. This could mislead new users into believing the initial rate applies to yearly renewals when, in reality, it is a one-time offer for first-time subscribers. I believe transparency is crucial in pricing, and it would be more ethical for the company to clearly state renewal rates upfront. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Their tech support, it seems like their techs like to just do things without any sort of authorization. You can ask for all the help that you'd like but they will always go right to work and not take into account if there are production sites that shouldn't be touched. That didn't work well for me. - Plugins crashed the web site. - After tech support fixed for the first crash, next day it crashed again with downtime a couple of hours. -For the next crash tech support asked me to create a ticket and wait 24 hours. Indeed, there was a conflict with one of the plugins that you were using, and our support kindly asked you to ticket this internally on our system so that we could further investigate. Plugin conflicts can often occur due to multiple reasons. After all, there are thousands of plugins in the market, some of which do not even follow the WordPress coding standards, so it would be impossible to guarantee that there would not be any conflicts. This applies to any plugin or theme that you are using or going to use in the future. From our end, whenever conflicts occur, our number one priority is to identify the cause, and of course, sort them out whenever it is within our ability (the conflict could be caused due to the coding of a 3rd party plugin as an example), which is exactly what we aimed for in your case. Unfortunately, you did not allow us to even assist you on this matter and decided to request a refund, which has been actioned in full. We are sorry to see you go, and do hope to give us a second chance further down the line. Take care! Not good bedside manner." 0.5/5 What do you like best about WPMU DEV? it's nicely designed and they have expanded into some additional services that could be useful. they got rid of a ton of ones they spent years on that were still not competitive. all good moves...unless you were using the ones they threw out. The treatment of customers is terrible. for 8 months they offered all the services i had used year after year , and they offered them to new customers at a rate of less than 1/3 of what i had been paying and kept taking that higher amount for 8 months. When i called for of the difference, they blamed me for not follwing that they had dropped the price and them blamed me for not creating more need to take advantage of the larger account they had left me in. (and said it was a discount . a discount off the biggest tier, but never let me know that either obviously because then i would know about the much lower rate.)
