It integrates with almost all popular WordPress themes and plugins and allows building anything from multilingual blogs to complex e-commerce and corporate sites. ## WPML Reviews ### 1. A good WordPress plugin for multi-languages websites **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Petar C. | IT Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2021 **What do you like best about WPML?** You can very easily create copies of pages, menus, URLs to another language. **What do you dislike about WPML?** It's not an automatic translation, you just create a copy and manually translate it. **What problems is WPML solving and how is that benefiting you?** You can very quickly resolve a subsequent client request to make the site multilingual ### 2. It is powerful, it is extensible, it is highly customizable. And if you're in education or NGO/non-profit, it is free. If you're a commercial user, you know you're getting the best solution, albeit at a price. In my projects I have actively switched from the free options to WPML because the level of support is noticeably higher and the overall robustness of the solution is more complete. **What do you dislike about WPML?** WPML is big, no doubt. Are you properly speccing your host or hosting environment for everything your website is doing and for the concurrent connections you will have? If there is one cost to having the best, it is also having the heaviest. That said, you can certainly mitigate this by being selective in your localizations and how you apply them with your theme of choice. **Recommendations to others considering WPML:** Do a thorough evaluation of what you need. Maybe the free options will work for you. But will they work for the next person administering your site? Will you get the support you need when you switch themes or do a redesign? Will you get the support you need when implementing multi-site? WPML gives you access to a higher level of support. **What problems is WPML solving and how is that benefiting you?** WPML is the best-so-far solution for providing a multilingual website with the ability to easily switch between localizations and to stay within that localization as an end-user browses the site. ### 3. You can go really deep in having control over translations and multilanguage control. **What do you dislike about WPML?** Maybe the most disappointing thing about WPML is how difficult it can become using some options. It can really become a headache if you can't control some options. Support is sometimes not as good or precise as you may need regarding the complexity of some features. **Recommendations to others considering WPML:** If you need a strong multilingual tool and can deal with complex setup, go ahead, cause is just the best tool out there. **What problems is WPML solving and how is that benefiting you?** I usually work with wordpress multilingual websites that require a tool to manage different languages and WPML is the most advanced and complete plugin available to solve any kind of issue related to multi language web sites. ### 4.
