We were using ManageWP and switched to WP Umbrella 1 month ago. We are delighted with this choice for the following reasons: - Speed: each connection to ManageWP was hell, extremely long. Even just to collect the monthly bill we had to endure this extremely long connection to all the sites. From this point of view, WP Umbrella is much much faster... there is no doubt!! - The user interface is much nicer, the information is clear and the management of all sites is much easier - WP Umbrella appears to be a small company. Access to support is easy, responses are quick, and it is the developer who provides the answers. And what's more, he seems to be very nice! - The product seems to evolve regularly. With ManageWP we have not seen any functional improvement during use of the product. WP Umbrella has a roadmap with regular developments. I may be able to confirm after several months of use in another review!! - And also… As a French company we are happy to collaborate with a French service provider! So obviously, at this stage of our use, I strongly recommend the use of WP Umbrella. We also need to talk about the price. They already provide you with the most useful tools (1-click login, updates, security, pagespeed, reports, ...) and are still developing actively. Their pricing system is simple, and ranges in the middle of the cheapest and most expensive tools on the internet. Just a few tips I could share since they're constantly improving the app: 1-click wordpress, themes and plugins for a site would be nice (I think they'll add this soon), and a better overview of sites labels too. **What problems is WP Umbrella solving and how is that benefiting you?** A lot of Wordpress Management tools exist online, but none are so easy to use as WP Umbrella. And believe me, I've tried them all. Its interface is clean, uncluttered, loads quickly and is easy to navigate. There is a PHP error feature that I haven't seen in competitors which I love. This helps us identify potential issues and fix them proactively before they snowball into larger problems. Their transparent pricing is attractive and makes it much easier to project costs. Hourly backups are necessary for mission-critical like e-commerce stores, and it is included as part of the standard offering, which is impressive. I like the Google PageSpeed and response metrics as it helps us quickly filter slow-loading websites under management and improve their performance as part of our service offering. The white labelling features for the plugin and reports are excellent. WP Umbrella's support team are highly responsive, passionate and cares about its users. They are receptive to their users' input, pushing fixes and introducing new features at a rapid pace. There is a lot to look forward to on their roadmap. I have been a long-term user of ManageWP and thoroughly tested at least 3 other options before settling on WP Umbrella and won't be looking back. **What do you dislike about WP Umbrella?** There's not much to dislike, but as with all early generation apps, there are only minor issues. To prevent the illusion of persistent errors, PHP error counters in the interface should be zeroed once they have been marked as fixed. I would like to see the ability to upload custom covers for white labelled reports. If certain plugins and themes are unlicensed, it would be useful to mark them to be ignored for updates. This would allow us to easily identify and inform clients of the need to obtain licenses to ensure optimal maintenance. I already know one-click backup restoration will be released at any time, and they are working on the rest. Considering their rapid pace of development and commitment, all these features would be available within a short timeframe. **What problems is WP Umbrella solving and how is that benefiting you?** Managing multiple WordPress websites can become challenging without a robust interface that gives you a bird's eye view of all connected sites. From signing up for the free trial to managing websites on a daily basis with the clean, intuitive dashboard, we have had a great experience. We are so impressed by the features, ease of use, white label plugin (to install on client websites) and the birds-eye view of our client's websites health, backups, issues, performance and pending updates. As for the customer support from WP Umbrella, the team behind the scenes are incredible. We had a small issue that their support team went above and beyond to resolve very quickly, even pushing out a patch to the plugin so that other users wouldn't encounter the same problem!
