Since writing my last review, Worship Planning has updated their website. It has become more user friendly and attractive. Still, the program is extremely compatible with websites. Even the login screen has become more appealing to the consumers eye. The colors are very vibrant. The Assignments are is reflective of tasks per weekend service so there is no confusion when members are scheduled. **What do you dislike about Worship Planning?** During my last review, I wrote that worship planning is currently out of date compared to other scheduling services applications. Sometimes, with products like these, appearance matters. Appearance entices the user to draw into the website. Other times, it distracts the user and can cause them to not want to access the website even more. I currently do not have any dislikes for this application since the change. **Recommendations to others considering Worship Planning:** If you are looking for an affordable way to run your weekend services, worship planning is the way to go. **What problems is Worship Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?** I notice that more people are able to see their schedule immediately as they log in to the website. I have realized that we can easily access our setlists and song attachments. There is a clear description on the site that provides your team and their assigned roles. This is important to understanding who will be scheduled to worship during special events or Sunday experiences. ### 2. The way they scale the cost is very budget friendly compared to other services. Ease of use on mobile is great too. **What do you dislike about Worship Planning?** The User interface is very bare bones. It is not a pretty site. Sometimes the UI is hard to navigate. Lack of a mobile application hurts as well. **What problems is Worship Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are planning and scheduling all our worship related volunteers all on one site. The mass email function and the ability to visualize who is confirmed and who can't serve is great. ### 3. The fact that it is a web based platform means it is accessible pretty much anywhere. **What do you dislike about Worship Planning?** The user interface is not as "pretty" as some of its competitors. It can be difficult to navigate the website at first but with enough time a tutorial videos you can overcome this. **Recommendations to others considering Worship Planning:** Take advantage of the free 30-day trial they offer. Get hands-on with it and see if it can do everything you need. **What problems is Worship Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are planning, organizing, assigning, equipping and collaborating on our Sunday morning services all in one spot. Everything we need to do to properly plan and execute a service is done on this site. ### 4. Useful tool for planning worship **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** John P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2018 **What do you like best about Worship Planning?** Once you have input all your songs for a service, musicians can use the MP3 Setlist feature to play along with all the songs back to back. **What do you dislike about Worship Planning?** It would be great if the attached song sheets or mp3s are updated that it is clearly communicated to the user (e.g. New Version Available) so the leader does not have to communicate those changes out by email. **Recommendations to others considering Worship Planning:** Set up a service during your trial membership and include the musicians for that service. Provide chord charts and mp3s for each song. Have musicians expectation set to be ready to play at the rehearsal. Your rehearsal will be a whole lot more productive **What problems is Worship Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?** We could not worship at the same level we do without having the easy worship service schedule and layout, musician scheduling and attached chord charts and mp3s made possible through WorshipPlanning ### 5. It makes it easy for us to get our message to everyone while also allowing them to sync it easily to their own calendar. **What do you dislike about Worship Planning?** The only thing we dislike is the limited number of people you can add. This can be fixed with another upgrade, but we have made do without it **What problems is Worship Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?** It allows us to communicate well with everyone we need to!
