**Video Conferencing —** In terms of functionality, webinar software is similar to video conferencing software. Both connect relevant parties via a video feed over an internet connection and provide additional tools that facilitate communication. However, video conferencing software is used for smaller groups, while webinar platforms can host thousands of attendees if need be. Webinar software also provides more features specific to presenting than video conferencing products which are typically used for meetings.

**Video Hosting —** Many webinar software tools will allow hosts to record their webinars so they can be posted and viewed elsewhere.
