What do you like best about World-Check On Demand?

I like the fact that Refinitiv World-Check screens for all the available sanctions bodies globally. It's easy to search by person or organization (or vessel). You can add country or sort by type of record or sort by match strength (strong, medium, weak). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about World-Check On Demand?

I don't like the fact that there is no one I can call for help like Westlaw. You have to go through their portal, ask a question, and wait for a reply. Customer Support is global, so not always in your time zone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering World-Check On Demand:

Make sure you go under Help Menu and print the documentation, so you know the names of the screening bodies and what the treatment codes mean. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is World-Check On Demand solving and how is that benefiting you?

I take a person or business and screen them to see if they are sanctioned by a body included in World-Check. Sometimes, I take the company's annual report and look up the names of the directors and run them through World-Check too in addition to the company. Sometimes the external checks and sources were already expired not available to be viewed anymore. Would also like to see if there's available photos or picture of the individua to compare it with the ID provided by the client that had a match. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering World-Check On Demand:

I find this risk intelligence tool very helpful in calculating or assessing the risk of any company, entity or individual especially for those related to financial crimes.

I find it easy to use the only downside is no one can use it if you are currently logged in, so I suggest to have two or more subscriptions or usernames available if possible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Having 8 years of experience in multiple functions of compliance like transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, risk rating, PEP onboarding. It is very useful from overall risk management perspective to the financial institutions. User friendly and has vast information.

Gold-standard in data quality. Its robust database in terms of very reliable and up-to-date information for sound decision making.
