**What do you like best about WorkStep?**

I appreciate the recruiting tool and its easy-to-use calendar scheduling. The pool of candidates is strong and the parameters are easy to edit. The anonymous feedback is a big part of what WorkStep brings to the table. The benchmarks are critical indicators of the health of each one of my facilities, and I use them to prepare my Managers with areas for their teams to improve in. We have implemented several initiatives thanks to WorkStep.

**What do you dislike about WorkStep?**

The load time of the website frustrates me. I understand there is a lot of data to load, but I have experienced many times where the site times itself out. I have taken the suggestions of clearing cache, cookies, etc., but I still encounter this issue semi-regularly. I wish there were a way for the WorkStep calendar to import into a Google calendar so I could check the application less frequently. Another ask would be for the tool to be more intuitive regarding when promotions occur or employees transfer facilities.

**What problems is WorkStep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The feedback aspect has diagnosed themes within my facilities. I feature positive and negative comments that are anonymously given to the facility on a board. A suggestion box is also featured on the board. I team with the GM to address the negative feedback with what we, as Operations and HR, are doing about the concern(s) that have come to attention.

**What do you like best about WorkStep?**

Workstep has a very user-friendly interface that makes it easy to navigate through. Feedback is easy to read and puts the most critical information into perspective

**What do you dislike about WorkStep?**

I am able to see every other department that falls under my supervisor's umbrella, which creates clutter for me as I try to filter feedback and data that exclusively pertains to my devision.

**What problems is WorkStep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workstep provides insight into employees' thoughts and sentiments, which we wouldn't have access to otherwise. This insight ultimately translates to more inclusivity and productivety by using the feedback constructively.

**What do you like best about WorkStep?**

WorkStep is a robust platform and what it lacks in ability, it makes up for with its customer success team that is always willing to explore new options with us.

**What do you dislike about WorkStep?**

It takes quite some time to get from one page to another within the platform, the loading is lengthy. Additionally, I'd love it if we could look back on our data within a specific time range, as opposed to the last 90 and last 180 days only. It would be interesting to see the data as it relates to this time last year, for example, to see if there are seasonal trends.

**What problems is WorkStep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WorkStep is allowing us to look across different departments and business units at how we're engaging with our employees. We host monthly meetings with WorkStep and our operations teams to review data and action plan improvements within our organization.

Retention and associate morale, knowing what's important to them aids you in putting focus, attention and leadership in the areas that matter most

**What do you like best about WorkStep?**

Using WorkStep in the workplace is very helpful because it shows what each job position is doing the best with their workers, and what is lacking in that certain position.

**What do you dislike about WorkStep?**

The only thing that I can think of as to why I would dislike using WorkStep in the workplace would be that it only looks at the days 30,60, and 90. When in reality, I would like more of an insight into the worker's lives after 1 year of working in the workforce.

WorkStep is helping our company take a look at the "negativity" into the workers day to day lives and helping us have a better understanding as to what we could do better.

**What do you like best about WorkStep?**

I like that the employees can speak up and feel heard. Most often, employees are scared to speak up. Keeping the comment anonymous, helps them speak up and will help us on making better decisions or be aware of situations we didn't know about before.

**What do you dislike about WorkStep?**

When we reply back to someone, the employee thinks we know who they are. In some cases, we can put two and two and know who it is. But for the most part we don't know who these comments come from.

**What problems is WorkStep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A lot of HR related problems. Things from wages, situations with supervisors, harassment situations, etc. It's making HR more aware and just knowing how we can improve our working environment.

**What do you like best about WorkStep?**

Very communicative and responsive customer service team. Good data organization that lets you break down responses by location and profession. Allows you to track events easily.

**What do you dislike about WorkStep?**

Some of the UI could be improved. I would like to be able to click on a theme and be sent to all the responses related to that theme. I would also prefer if all of the outdated responses from a single respondent were hidden uniformly. This happens in the opportunities section currently, but not the feedback section.

**What problems is WorkStep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workstep helps us focus our employee retention efforts on the right areas. We have a better understanding not only of what is causing dissatisfaction, but also how those causes vary across groups.

Anonymous surveys allow employers to have a close pulse on employee satisfaction or dissatisfaction, which in turn drives change.

I wish there was better reporting functionality as well as more customization to employee surveys.

Employee dissatisfaction drives concrete change in our company. We constantly monitor employee responses and favorability ratings to drive results.

The questions are too broad for the employees that some do not know how to answer fully.

Nothing really I enjoy using the platform.

It costs a lot. I understand paying for services but it seems a little repetitive.

**What do you like best about WorkStep?**

The user-friendly UI is very polished, and the system makes it very easy to update current applicants' progress through your company's hiring steps.

**What do you dislike about WorkStep?**

I wish there were a way to automatically block out time slots within, say, 1-2 hours of the current time (so candidates don't sign up for interviews with little warning).

**Recommendations to others considering WorkStep:**

I strongly recommend reaching out to the WorkStep managers if you have any trouble or questions - they're super helpful and very friendly, and it's a delight talking to them.

**What problems is WorkStep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WorkStep communicates with candidates on my behalf, making scheduling an over-the-phone interview really easy (while still giving the candidate my contact information so they can reach me if they need to)!

Ease of setting up job postings; capability to review and dismiss in one swoop!
I especially appreciate the control in changing and/or navigating between pre-screening candidates for either a direct phone interview or on-site interview.

**What do you dislike about WorkStep?**

Not seeing the full name when previewing candidates.  Often times we have seen a similar candidate that has already come through another job board aggregator/partner.

**What problems is WorkStep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Extension for Sourcing! Simply being able to cast a net out further.   However, I have also utilized WorkStep as a great partner for scheduling and setting up On-Site hiring events which were extremely successful.

Bringing new applicants to an interview that is scheduled by the application. As the recruiter, I can set predetermined times when I am available to meet an applicant at a given location.

**What do you dislike about WorkStep?**

Applicants have the ability to cancel interviews right before an interview starts.

**Recommendations to others considering WorkStep:**

This software requires an individual or small team to coordinate and commit to using it. If you don't spend a little time with it each day or a few times a week, you aren't getting the full benefit.

WorkStep saves time processing applications and getting in touch with candidates. Just a simple click yes or no and Workstep schedules the interview.

**What do you like best about WorkStep?**

We have consistently found our skilled technicians through WorkStep and have been able to execute "interview days", the majority of which had perfect attendance.  Additionally, the overall flow is easy and moves well.

**What do you dislike about WorkStep?**

It would be nice to have more options regarding candidate interview stages.  It would also be helpful to be able to assign candidates to different roles.

**Recommendations to others considering WorkStep:**

I don't see why one wouldn't utilize WorkStep.  It's affordable and generates the right skilled talent we have and continue to look for.

**What problems is WorkStep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There few resources which focus on skilled technician candidates.  WorkStep has proved our most valuable resource hiring into these functions.  We have had numerous "interview days", the majority of which had perfect attendance from WorkStep candidates.

Ease of start-up--Plug and Play.  Ability to get managers who had no hiring experience to making good hiring decisions due to WorkStep sourcing and screening questions without  hiring a full time recruiter.  

Retain provides valuable feedback at key length-of-service milestones to help us improve retention.

No dislikes.  
WorkStep has been a strategic hiring partner and the team has been 100% professional, customer-oriented and easy to work with!

WorkStep does the sourcing and targets a qualified pool of candidates who want to work warehouse jobs.  
WorkStep screening AI helps us hire candidates who more closely fit our skill set and culture-fit needs.
We avoid the  costs associated with  a temp-to-hire model (the "luck" of finding qualified people who want to work).
WorkStep keeps our overhead costs low by  replacing the duties of dedicated recruiter.

**What do you like best about WorkStep?**

Workstep has been the best tool I have used to fill the positions in my branch I need to fill.  They schedule interviews for me and they take a lot off my plate.

**What do you dislike about WorkStep?**

I only get an email to tell me about scheduled interviews, so sometimes I will get interviewees show up that I don't know about because I haven't gotten to that email yet.

**What problems is WorkStep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Too many questions.

Applicants are more compatible with job openings which helps to filter out candidates ahead of time.

**What do you dislike about WorkStep?**

Not able to see a face with the name of the applicant.

When we open a position on other hiring platforms, our candidate pool is very small. The Workstep platform out performs other recruiting/hiring sites.
