## Workspace ONE Reviews
  ### 1. Unified Platform with Strong Support and Powerful Automation Workflows

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nisar A. | System Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Workspace ONE?**

Workspace ONE is a unified platform with good support, and I like Orchestrator because it can be used in automation workflows.

**What do you dislike about Workspace ONE?**

The UI feels too clumsy, and after it was renamed to Omnissa, the support system seems too weak.

**What problems is Workspace ONE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it to manage multiple platforms, especially Android.

  ### 2. Good solution but lack of support

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gunashekar M. | Presales Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Workspace ONE?**

UEM features managing those devices none of the MDM or UEM can.

**What do you dislike about Workspace ONE?**

Support is pathetic and there is no focus on the product development post Broadcom acquisition.

**What problems is Workspace ONE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lack of support
no new features
even sales team are not bothered about this product.

  ### 3. Inherited Workspace One that spawned more issues as time went on

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew S. | IT Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Workspace ONE?**

I don't like anything about Workspace ONE. The UI isn't clean, it's confusing to navigate, and installing software

**What do you dislike about Workspace ONE?**

The UI isn't clean, it's confusing to navigate, and installing software gets held up in a "pending queue". There is not way to access this queue to understand what the errors could be. I contacted VMware Support and after weeks of troubleshooting they determined that every endpoint would have to have the Airwatch/Workspace ONE client re-installed. This is not helpful as there are hundreds of devices in our environment.

**What problems is Workspace ONE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is not beneficial and I am vetting new vendors for an MDM replacement.

  ### 4. WorkSpace One for Endpoint management

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Workspace ONE?**

There are a few things that I like the most, about WorkSpace ONE & I am sure others would agree. The Endpoint management solution VMWare offers with the branding WorkSpace ONE simplifies end-user computing experience. IT administrators get the ability to manage all major OSes including Windows, MacOS & all Linux distros. What I liked the most about this, was the ability to remotely install or uninstall a particular application, as long as the computer is connected to the network. What's more is that you can remotely remove/add system profiles that might be necessary when you are troubleshooting a problem & guiding a general end-user might not be as easy. I had no experience using this, but it was so easy to use, I excelled device management through it within a few months, given the numerous features it offers. It can also be integrated with other tools like ServiceNow. This way you can get the best of both. Implementation is also a breeze. On the endpoints you just push the installer & it can register on its own. An advantage of Workspace ONE in terms of frequency of use is its ability to provide a seamless and unified experience for end users across various devices and applications. This is particularly beneficial in modern work environments where employees use multiple devices and need access to a variety of applications to perform their tasks. I had an issue once & their knowledge base article was very helpful in resolving that issue. Customer support is available on all mediums

**What do you dislike about Workspace ONE?**

It can go in endless loop of trying to configure or install/remove something.

**What problems is Workspace ONE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps in managing user devices remotely. You don't have to go & manage each device

  ### 5. It eases the tasks for the customer but it should be modified something further

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raakulan K. | Engineering Trainee, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Workspace ONE?**

Improves the traditions of incorporation and configuration of both PC and cellular phones. It contains real time application and the life cycle features allow the client server applocations

**What do you dislike about Workspace ONE?**

Its interface and features may seem overwhelming, posing a challenge for newcomers. Mastering the platform requires a considerable learning curve, potentially discouraging users. Technical issues such as glitches and slow performance have been reported, affecting the overall user experience. Additionally, the cost of WorkSpace ONE might be prohibitive for smaller businesses or organizations. Despite these concerns, WorkSpace ONE remains a robust tool for workspace management and collaboration for those who can navigate its complexities.

**What problems is Workspace ONE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it addresses the challenges of modern workforce management and productivity by providing a unified platform for access and collaboration across devices and locations. It streamlines IT administration, simplifies app distribution, and enhances security through unified endpoint management. By enabling employees to access their work applications and data seamlessly, Workspace ONE promotes remote and flexible working, resulting in improved productivity and work-life balance. Its comprehensive security features safeguard sensitive data and protect against potential threats, reducing the risk of data breaches and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Ultimately, Workspace ONE empowers organizations to optimize their digital work environment, fostering efficiency and employee satisfaction.

  ### 6. Vmware Workspace ONE UEM

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Serdar S. | IT Security Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Workspace ONE?**

The product provides maximum security and comfort in the management of mobile devices.

**What do you dislike about Workspace ONE?**

Some upgrade processes and vmware engineers' return to case is late. However, there is nothing that I don't like in general terms.

**What problems is Workspace ONE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workspace ONE enables a build to remotely manage mobile devices as well as windows + macOS devices.

  ### 7. Unified endpoint management.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohammed M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Workspace ONE?**

Workspace ONE supports various device types and operating systems, including iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS. This allows organisations to provide their employees with a flexible and diverse set of endpoints while maintaining high security and control.

**What do you dislike about Workspace ONE?**

Some users may find the user interface or navigation confusing or challenging. Others may encounter technical issues such as bugs or performance problems. These can often be addressed with the right resources and support

**What problems is Workspace ONE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the main problems that Workspace ONE aims to solve is the complexity of managing and securing a large and diverse set of digital endpoints, including mobile devices, desktops, and applications. With Workspace ONE, organisations can handle all of these endpoints from a single console, which can streamline IT operations and reduce the administrative burden on IT staff. Workspace ONE also helps to address security concerns by providing a range of advanced security features, including conditional access policies, data loss prevention, and multi-factor authentication. This can help organisations protect their sensitive data and prevent unauthorised access, which is particularly important in today's increased cyber threats and data breaches.

  ### 8. Execeptional Product

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Workspace ONE?**

I really appreciate the convenience that Workspace ONE provides. Being able to access all of my work applications and resources from a single platform, regardless of whether I'm on my laptop or my phone, has been a game-changer for me. It saves me a lot of time and hassle, especially when I'm working remotely or on the go. Additionally, the security features are top-notch and give me peace of mind knowing that my work data is safe and secure. Overall, Workspace ONE has helped me to be more efficient and productive in my work, and I'm grateful for that.

**What do you dislike about Workspace ONE?**

one potential downside that I've experienced is that it can be somewhat complex to use. As someone who isn't particularly tech-savvy, I've had some difficulty navigating the platform and finding what I need. Additionally, there have been times when I've encountered performance issues, such as slow loading times or connectivity problems, which can be frustrating when I'm trying to get work done.

Another factor that some users may find challenging is the cost associated with using Workspace ONE. While the subscription-based service provides many useful features, it may not be feasible for all organizations, particularly smaller ones with limited budgets.

Overall, while I think that Workspace ONE is a powerful tool that can be beneficial for many users, there are some potential drawbacks to consider. However, these issues may not affect all users, and the benefits may still outweigh the challenges for some.

**What problems is Workspace ONE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It enables me to access all of my work tools and resources from a single platform, which saves me time and helps me to be more efficient. The platform's security features provide peace of mind, knowing that my work data is safe and protected from data breaches. Finally, Workspace ONE's flexibility means that I can work from anywhere and on any device, which is particularly helpful as a remote worker

  ### 9. Powerful MDM with tremendous options, but not the best solution for the education market.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael F. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Workspace ONE?**

The upsides are the broad scope of systems supported by the software ecosystem. We were former users of AirWatch, and VM Ware bought them out. While they are definitely a solid choice for large enterprise organizations, they are not the best for education, especially K-8.

**What do you dislike about Workspace ONE?**

The user interface is beginning to look antiquated. Education-specific features and integrating Google and Apple education services are not a priority. Improvements in the mobile area of development would be welcome.

**What problems is Workspace ONE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deployment and management of our fleet of iOS devices, primarily iPads. We can deploy most of our software quickly but find that education-specific support seems to be lacking.

  ### 10. Workspace One - Endpoint Management Tool

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Workspace ONE?**

With AirWatch, managing mobile devices is easier than ever. Every profile and command made available by Google and Apple is supported by AirWatch. Excellent and generally self-explanatory profile upkeep. The device details page has an almost overwhelming quantity of information. Fantastic integration opportunities are available with the Workspace ONE Content app. You may integrate your whole on-premises or cloud file infrastructure. On the administrative front, it offers us a single platform to manage all of our devices. I may disable the devices or send an update to each MAC connected to my network. You can remove company data, lock down the harmed machines, and communicate with them. Additionally, you can help the user by remotely setting up their gadgets from

**What do you dislike about Workspace ONE?**

Every other app on the network of your firm is accessible thanks to the programme, which also launches the other app. Therefore, there are times when the UI experience is jerky and unresponsive. The application initially takes some time because loading the other apps requires extensive processing. It might occasionally be difficult to integrate Workspace One and your organisation utilising SSO integration through Active Directory.

**What problems is Workspace ONE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like that this can be used inside the company without a VPN connection; since everything takes place inside the app, it just works like I'm using a browser from inside the company and doesn't require any extra steps or logins. Applications supported by VMware VIDM for identity management include those from the best MDM and UEM suite. Workspace ONE includes a lot of built-in features and offers a lot of flexibility in terms of asset management, app management, and security. The user interface for Workspace ONE / AirWatch is very well-organized and uncomplicated.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2021

**What do you like best about Workspace ONE?**

This is a review for the workspace one web browser mobile app. I like the fact that this can be used within my organization instead of needing VPN access, everything happens within the app so it just works as if I'm using a browser from within the institution, no logins or any other steps.

**What do you dislike about Workspace ONE?**

The interface could be better/more user friendly, as it looks a little outdated currently compared to other web browsers. Also, the request desktop version feature does not always work all the time.

**What problems is Workspace ONE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**What do you dislike about Workspace ONE?**

There are some features that you might want "not need right away" that are additional in cost.

**What problems is Workspace ONE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Originally we were just looking for a good MDM solution. With Workspace ONE we found that and much more.

  ### 25. Powerful Enterprise Mobility Management, Easy To Use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maximilian H. | Systems Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 26, 2019

**What do you like best about Workspace ONE?**

1. The Workspace ONE / AirWatch UI is really clean and easy to navigate. Each major feature (mdm, mam, mcm, etc) has its own tab with several sub-tabs. You can customize it with the integrated branding options (logos + colors).

2. MDM: AirWatch's mobile device management capabilities have never been better. AirWatch supports every profile and command offered by Google / Apple. The profile management is solid and pretty much self explanatory. The device details page offers so much information it's almost overwhelming.

3. MCM: The integration options for the Workspace ONE Content app are amazing. You can integrate your complete on-premise or cloud file infrastrcture. The users will have the same permission that they have on a normal PC and can work on files from everywhere. It doesn't matter if you're using Microsoft or Dropbox in the cloud, AirWatch probably supports it.

4. Workspace ONE Apps: The AirWatch apps used to be really bad. They were slow, the UI was hideous and they didn't work properly most of the time. This has improved tremendously since VMware bought AirWatch. The new Boxer email app is beautiful and works flawless, so does the new Content, VMware Tunnel, Web and People app.

5. AirWatch Community: I'd say the community forums are more helpful than the support in 3 / 5 cases. There are some great and experienced people there, who are always willing to help out or discuss features.

**What do you dislike about Workspace ONE?**

1. Bugs: There are a lot of bugs in AirWatch or features work in a different way than you'd expect them to. For example: The newest Workspace ONE UEM version 1903 features a new settings page. It looks a lot more cleaner now but just doesn't work. The page will load for a minute before timing out if I'm trying to open the VMware Tunnel settings. Sometimes it will open them, sometimes it won't.

2. MTM: The telecom management is unreliable. Sometimes it's not collecting statistics at all, sometimes they are just not accurate and sometimes the user even sent negative amounts of data. I only have data statistics for 8 of 35 devices right now.

3. Support: The support changed a lot since VMware bought AirWatch. I think it became worse, some agents take forever to update tickets or just copy and paste the same answers over and over again. I've also had the case where they gave out some misleading information about deprecating an app.

**Recommendations to others considering Workspace ONE:**

AirWatch is multitenant capable. You can create as many organization groups as you want. I'd suggest to create an OG where you have your production devices and an OG where you test new features and replicate issues.

**What problems is Workspace ONE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We couldn't provide any kind of coporate resources on mobile devices due to security concerns. The enterprise grade security features of Workspace ONE allow us to securely deliver mail, content and apps to mobile phones and tablets.

  ### 26. Workspace ONE: An Easy Platform That Ensures Security

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Madd H. | Director of Merchandise, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2019

**What do you like best about Workspace ONE?**

Workspace ONE allows easy, user-friendly access to a platform that makes sure that my company's data is secure. If a person using or working with company data has a "jailbroken" device or some other unauthorized third-party app, Workspace ONE will actually deny access to sensitive information and documents to ensure safety and minimize the risk of a cyberattack.

**What do you dislike about Workspace ONE?**

Some of my colleagues have had issues with Workspace ONE being "overly sensitive" and locking them out, but I have not run into this issue. If anything, I would recommend using Workspace ONE on computers that are only used for work-related purposes to eliminate this issue.

**Recommendations to others considering Workspace ONE:**

My biggest piece of advice would be to only use Workspace ONE on company-issued computers or devices, to ensure that the software does not "accidentally" lock you out due to other things that may be downloaded on the computer.

**What problems is Workspace ONE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workspace ONE has allowed me to easily set up a platform that has greatly reduced the risk of cyber attacks, phishing, and other online threats.

  ### 27. Everything Consolidated under One Roof - Workspace One

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2019

**What do you like best about Workspace ONE?**

Workspace One brings all the applications that you use organisation wide under one roof to use.
You dont need to install Word, powerpoint, explorer, zoom, slack or any other app separately. Just install the workspace one application and you get the access to everything. No need to enter the RSA tokens again and again to get access. It separates your personal space on your mobile with the professional space, and securely manages all your transfers with the company network. The app can be installed on any type of device be it MAC, Windows, Android, a PC or a tablet, the support is for every OS. On the administrator front, it gives us the single platform to manage all our devices. I can push an update to all the MACs on my network or have the devices get blocked,. You can send notifications to the affected devices - block them , wipe off company data, etc. You can also help the user by remotely troubleshooting the devices from the backend configuring their devices. It gives diverse insights about how the users are using the products which they have access to, how many have done the upgrade, how many types of devices are in use, how many of them are Android, windows or Macs, etc. You can produce reports and export them for later use.

**What do you dislike about Workspace ONE?**

The application provides you access to every other app on your company network but it opens that application inside it. As a result, the UI experience becomes laggy and unresponsive at time. The application at first takes time to load because of the high processing being done to load the other apps. The integration of Workspace One and your organisation requires the use of SSO integration via Active Directory which is time consuming and difficult at times. Currently doesn't support the remote troubleshooting for the Windows users. It needs to improve on its intelligent analytics features to decide and automate the remediations using the behaviours exhibited by the devices. The pricing is also more as compared to other products in the same zone.

**Recommendations to others considering Workspace ONE:**

If you have been struggling with pushing the updates, enhancing security and content on your employee devices and help them access all your applications from anywhere and everywhere, them Workspace oNe is a product you should definitely have a look upon. It will give you an unified platform for managing all your endpoints. But the pricing for the product is little bit on a heavier side. You should go with it if you can afford it as the integration will also cost you money to setup the Active Directory or SSO. Otherwise you should explore other options which are less expensive. On other hand, if you are a company which has grown pretty big and wants to start monitoring the devices and having better security with help of Airwatch with a better software than whatever you use. Then also you should try the solution at your devices and give it a thought. The product lacks advanced reporting and analytics tools which you may need for your size of organisation detailing.

**What problems is Workspace ONE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have used workspace one in user and admin mode both in the hands-on lab provided by them . The benefit of the product is same as i mentioned earlier provides all your company apps in one place, saving the cost and time to handle multiple installations of each and every product. It helps you to manage all the devices from a single platform, what else can we demand for. But it definitely needs improvement on the intelligent reporting part, and provide advance means of integrating with tools such as Amazon Athena, Tableau for advanced reporting capabilities.

  ### 28. Review for Workspace One

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jerry G. | Logistical network support management, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2019

**What do you like best about Workspace ONE?**

I like the fact that as a administrator , everything is convenient and right there in front of you ,no additional software installation requirements, and also easy to manage all devices and help the client or customer with
Technical issues that can develop
On thier platform PC or device.

**What do you dislike about Workspace ONE?**

This can be slow and time consuming due to the restraints if workspace one
Load time is slow and lacking and no support for Windows users .

**What problems is Workspace ONE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's saves my company time and money, from having to install all separate apps, with workspace one,
All the apps are in one place, therefore
Making certain product designs or customer demands or projects requests easier for my team to accomplish in timely manner.

The integration with VMware Workspace One UEM (formerly AirWatch) is great

**What do you dislike about Workspace ONE?**

The identity provider catalogue is limited and can take some manual settings where as other identity providers have much simpler setup and a better catalogue.

**Recommendations to others considering Workspace ONE:**

If you already have Airwatch or Horizon then this will be a great addition, otherwise it mat be worth comparing it with other providers for yourbusiness.

**What problems is Workspace ONE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is used as our sign in provider for Office 365, onsite VDI and RDS and also forces 2FA and compliance of devices connecting so only a managed evice can be used to connect to any of the sources it manages the identity for.

  ### 30. Great software but lacks in features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2019

**What do you like best about Workspace ONE?**

Citrix workspace was something my company used to use, before they ditched it for Workspace one.
Maybe because of cost savings, but the current software lacks features on the go mobile apps to give access to cloud virtualized machines, in a nutshell. Apart from that, nothing has changed.

**What do you dislike about Workspace ONE?**

Lack of features, or maybe my company subscribed to a cheaper version of the software, hence the limitations. But however, the client apps are more beautifully designed compared to the previous solution we were using

**What problems is Workspace ONE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A great software which my company used to provide access to cloud desktops via thinclients.

  ### 31. Secure Browser for Confidential Business Needs

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Workspace ONE?**

Workspace ONE is a necessary feature for businesses requiring the security and confidentiality to incorporate technology, either devices or applications the company requires, as well as email, calendar, chat services, contacts, and documents. The application provides invisible security measures that protect the business from potential data leaks through restrictions when modifying or sharing attachments.

The application allows for multi-tab browsing and supports Android, iOS, macOS, Windows 10 and Chrome.

**What do you dislike about Workspace ONE?**

Sometimes the mobile application crashes or glitches. Not entirely user friendly and takes some training/learning to figure out how to use it properly and get the most out of it.

**Recommendations to others considering Workspace ONE:**

Secure browsing for institutional and business users

**What problems is Workspace ONE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Secure browsing for institutional and business users. The company can secure important information and make sure that information is available to employees on different platforms.

**What do you like best about Workspace ONE?**

Makes it very easy to access my documents from work when I am on the go or when I need to finish up something at home. I like that it was available on Google and I can use it on my phone!

**What do you dislike about Workspace ONE?**

Sometimes the documents fail to sync and I have to try again. The app will freeze and I will have to exit and reopen. Not the best when in a hurry.

**What problems is Workspace ONE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I only work part time and I am not in the office many hours to finish all documents for the next day. The app makes it easy to access the files that I need to at home in order to be prepared for the next day.
