## Worksoft Certify Reviews
  ### 1. Best-in-Class Scriptless Automation for SAP ECC GUI

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chirag A. | Software Automation Developer, Transportation/Trucking/Railroad, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksoft Certify?**

It’s one of the best proprietary tools when it comes to scriptless automation. In my experience, it works especially well for SAP ECC GUI interfaces, and it integrates very well with Jenkins. The UI is simple and the tool is very user-friendly. Even if you don’t know any coding, its scriptless nature helps you automate almost anything. The Intelligence feature in version 14.5 also includes AI capabilities for auto-healing in some SaaS applications, like Salesforce. The support portal and worksoft community is great and very helpful, the tickets are mostly addressed with a day.

**What do you dislike about Worksoft Certify?**

It doesn’t include a CI/CD pipeline framework, and it’s also not very efficient for web automation. On top of that, the licensing, infrastructure, and support costs are significantly higher than many modern automation tools. It requires heavy infrastructure and ongoing maintenance, including servers, databases, and virtual desktops, since it doesn’t work well with newer, cloud-native tools. The execution time for web scripts is also much longer compared to modern automation platforms. Another major challenge is the slower pace of innovation compared to newer tools.

**What problems is Worksoft Certify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me with regular BAU testing and regression testing across applications, and it works really well with SAP. It reduces a lot of manual effort for me, especially when it comes to data creation requests.

It also helps solve a few key problems for me: regression cycles are much faster, which supports tighter release timelines; there’s less reliance on manual testing teams, which lowers long-term effort; I have higher confidence during SAP upgrades, with fewer late surprises; and the testing feels more business-driven, with better alignment to real user scenarios.
Also it's integration with CTM, that helps me a great deal of running the SAP scripts in lightsout mode without any manual intervention.

**What do you like best about Worksoft Certify?**

Best part is no code automation testing.Has great flexibility with appending to multiple interfaces(Iitially was more into SAP ). Time saving for Regression .

**What do you dislike about Worksoft Certify?**

As an automation tester working with multiple ERP's,I can say that Certify has evolved in working with multiple scenarios and is going ahead with Business-specific tools to automate. I cannot say I would dislike certify in any way possible.

**Recommendations to others considering Worksoft Certify:**

I had the opportunity to move from ERP functional guy to Worksoft tester in the year 2013, and from then on, I was more delighted to work in the automation area just because of the ease of working and using it in multiple functional areas and ERP.I would definitely recommend any organization looking for moving in automation area to have a look at Worksoft certify as a potential game-changer and ease of doing the job.

**What problems is Worksoft Certify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Compared to the Manual intervention and the given business needs, Worksoft can help in all possible ways to help in the testing process in all user-defined areas and covering all the functional aspects specified test document. (Personally, there are few challenges when working with data moving from one environment to another, which can also be handled in software automation using Certify).

As it is one of the best tool, go for it for SAP automation. Though there is no official support for integrating with Selenium, still it can be achieved. So it works well even if you have to work on both Web and SAP

As a tester its great career opportunity to learn Certify with some SAP knowledge

Good thing about this is you just have to focus on what to implement rather than worrying about how to implement it

**What do you like best about Worksoft Certify?**

No coding experience is required to automate with Worksoft Certify and test cases are easily executable directly from the tool. Reports are easily available inside Certify and are in user-friendly and readable format. There's also a selection of report types and test data management is also much better than other tools with the use of layout-recordset concept. It also has excellent interfacing with SAP, Mobile and Web applications.

**What do you dislike about Worksoft Certify?**

As coding is not involved it provides lesser flexibility in terms of maintaining code logic and makes it more difficult to add condition case blocks. Actions provided in Certify are out-of-the-box and there is no scope to extend them until a new upgrade comes out.

The ease to use and the various extensibility options avaiable for automation for all types of web and SAP portals

**What do you dislike about Worksoft Certify?**

The web automation is slow and requires lot of screen elements to be captured using other tools along with Worksoft Certify and the steps often fail for web portals.

I would recommed using worksoft where the manual testing activities take up a lot of time and cost and it can save up a lot of resources once the test scripts are automated.

**What problems is Worksoft Certify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The cost and time it is saved in running the manual functional testing scripts for all the SAP modules. This saves up a lot of resources and work hours, once automated the script can be run for any set of data.
