## About Workshop
Workshop is a modern, purpose-built internal communications platform that helps teams create, send, manage, and measure employee communications in one place — starting with email and extending to Microsoft Teams, Slack, SMS, and more. Backed by powerful AI and automation tools, Workshop helps communicators tackle the day-to-day more effectively: drafting on-brand emails, building dynamic audience lists, personalizing messages by role or location, and analyzing results so you always know what's landing. With Journeys, you can also automate personalized, well-timed sequences (onboarding emails, event follow-ups, benefits reminders, and more!) without adding anything extra to your plate. That means communicators can spend less time pushing messages out and more time focused on the strategy that actually moves people. When a message needs more room to breathe, Pages gives every communication a place to land. Communicators can build branded, mobile-friendly landing pages without any design or IT help, text them directly to frontline and deskless employees via SMS, and update them anytime without breaking a single link. It's the kind of flexibility that helps you reach 100% of your workforce, no matter where they work. Workshop also integrates seamlessly with Outlook, Gmail, SharePoint, Canva, and leading HRIS platforms, so your existing tools keep working the way they should. Most teams are up and running in just two to four weeks, and the impact shows up fast — whether you're a distributed organization trying to reach desk and deskless employees or a growing team that needs a smarter, more scalable way to communicate. That's why organizations like S&P Global, Aston Martin, Monster Energy, White Castle, and Meijer trust Workshop to reach every employee and prove the impact of their communications.

## Workshop Reviews
 ### 1. Complete overhaul of on-campus internal communication (higher ed)

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rebecca R. | Director of Creative Services, Public Affairs and Marketing, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

We began using Workshop campus-wide a couple of years ago as the first shift in broad internal email communication in decades. Our open rates and the fact that the daily newsletter-style message has become part of the community vernacular is a testament to the Workshop product. Layout and design is incredibly easy, and delivery with Google integration is seamless.

It is not an exaggeration to say that internal mass emails went from something that our community hated to a new methodology that recipients actually enjoyed!

I am a big fan and would be happy to talk with other colleges and universities about how Workshop works for us.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

One-time segmented list integration has improved, but I think it has a way to go. Also, I wish that the name of the email that is being edited would appear on the screen. This is important to our particular use of Workshop in creating daily emails -- sometimes we're building several at once. The Workshop team has been very receptive to discussing this and I have hopes that this will be improved in the future!

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used Workshop to develop a daily newsletter that our entire campus has come to rely upon heavily. Additionally, we will use it for one-off messages to segments of our campus community that rise to a "very important" level. It has saved time and greatly improved communication -- recipients are actually reading the messages!

 ### 2. Workshop is be best Internal Comms platform I have ever used!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ananya M. | Senior Employee and Executive Communications Manager , Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

The platform is incredibly intuitive and purpose‑built to make communications easier and more effective for communicators. Its email‑first approach streamlines the entire workflow, creating messages is simple, and distributing them is seamless. Templates make it effortless to build layouts and maintain consistent branding, ensuring every communication feels polished, on‑brand, and cohesive. Overall, the experience is smooth, efficient, and designed with communicators in mind. The implementation has been super easy and the team at Workshop is one of the best I have worked with. The measurement metrics are another huge benefit.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

No downside! The team is always seeking feedback and making iterations to make sure we are able to gain maximum value from the platform.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Enables us to deliver consistently on‑brand communications and empowers our teams to do the same with confidence.
- Provides strong data and insights that help us make informed decisions and refine our strategy.
- Every feature feels thoughtful and intentional, genuinely improving our day‑to‑day workflow.
- Blazing‑fast send speeds ensure our messages reach people quickly and reliably.
- Enables easy governance

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Ananya!!

Thank you for such a raving review, we are so appreciative of you and your team! Really glad the platform is delivering on that “built for communicators” experience. Making it easy to create, send, and measure without adding friction is exactly what we’re aiming for. And love hearing that templates and metrics are helping you stay consistent and informed along the way.

Also means a lot to hear your kind words about our team. That partnership is something we care deeply about.

Appreciate you being part of Workshop!

 ### 3. Giving our Internal Communications More "Oomph"

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lauren A. | Internal Communications Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Workshop has elevated our internal communications! It's easy to use, feels modern, and professionalizes the function. The templates have upgraded our comms to feel more professional, consistent, and visually appealing. Plus, I am now able to track data around messages where outlook has a 12-month expiration date on emails. I've received a lot of great feedback about the tool! I also appreciate it's affordable, which as a nonprofit I am so thankful to have the software remain affordable.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

1. More data insight would be helpful. Seeing the amount of time someone spends reading the email is helpful but doesn't feel super insightful for me.
2. Being able to see specifically who clicks on the web link would be helpful. Currently it just shows the clicks.
3. Recalling emails.
4. Integrating with Viva Engage would be helpful! For those of us who do not use Slack.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating more engaging communications. A tool that is easy to use and track analytics.

 ### 4. Great Experience with Workshop

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Workshop is incredibly intuitive. I really appreciated how quickly I was able to learn the platform and start using it right away. I also love that the Workshop team keeps refining the product and adding new features that feel relevant and genuinely helpful. It continues to get better, and the (fabulous) Workshop team is consistently asking for feedback and listening closely to uncover additional ways to make Workshop even more impactful for Comms professionals.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I really haven't experienced any downsides to using Workshop.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop gives us a way to make sure we are getting consistent information to all of our employees. The ability to segment messages by location, job type, etc. has been extremely helpful.
For me, the top features/benefits are:
-Integrated text messaging: no need to use another software or program to set up that additional line of communication
-Translation: The ease of offering translated messages for employees has completely changed and streamlined our messaging.
-Automated coordination with our HRIS system: No need to worry about new employees not getting the message or accidentally sending info to an employee no longer with us. We consistently have an accurate list of employees.

 ### 5. Easy-to-Use Email Builder That Brings Our Brand to Life

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy D. | Internal Communications Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

There are many features I love about Workshop, but the biggest highlight is clear: it allows us to create emails that truly represent and personify our brand and culture. With it, we can build engaging content that users trust and actually want to read. We also have analytics that give us insight into who received a message, who opened it, and what types of content they engage with most.

The ability to schedule communications has been a great tool as well. As a team of one, I’m not always available, so being able to draft, prepare, and plan in advance lets me step away with confidence, knowing the message(s) will be sent. It’s also helpful to be able to send on behalf of leaders within the organization, since some communications land better when they come from a recognizable face rather than our generic communications mailbox.

I am inside the Workshop platform every day, without fail and it is very functional and easy to use. I also love the new features and add-ons they keep rolling out.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I’d love to be able to see the date (and time) when users open emails, as well as the last time they opened an email. I’d also love the ability to replace a PDF after an email has already been sent. We’ve run into situations where a PDF needed to be updated, and while it’s easy to replace a link, I haven’t been able to simply swap the old PDF for the new one. That ends up creating the need to send a follow-up communication.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The first problem WorkShop solved for us was the lack of uniform, consistent, branded communications across the organization. By implementing Workshop, we’re able to give our team members the same branded experience that customers receive. We also now have access to analytics that Outlook simply didn’t offer. Being able to go back and confirm that an email was not only delivered, but also opened (and possibly clicked), is extremely helpful in situations like benefits communications, where we sometimes need to prove we sent something to someone. This is a benefit we didn’t necessarily realize we needed at first, but we’re now very glad to have.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Amy,

Thank you soooo much for this thoughtful review, it made our day!!

I love hearing that Workshop helps you create emails that truly feel like your brand, and that the analytics give you real proof instead of just a gut feeling. Outlook really does run on vibes sometimes.

As a team of one, being able to schedule ahead and send on behalf of leaders can make all the difference. We designed Workshop with clarity, connection, and a little peace of mind built in, so it means a lot to hear it’s working the way it should for you.

And thank you for the thoughtful feedback on open timestamps and swapping PDFs after send. That kind of input is incredibly helpful as we continue improving the product.

We’re grateful you trust us with your comms. Here’s to more confident sends and happier Mondays.☀️

 ### 6. Fantastic Platform with a Robust Email Builder, Analytics, and User Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John M. | Senior Manager of Creative Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I love the robust email builder, user management, analytics, and more. It's a fantastic platform. The customer service reps are fast and great to work with, and to quote my IT team, the set up and integration one was one of the easiest they had the pleasure of working on. My team uses workshop multiple times a week.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

Sometimes the robustness goes a little too deep - it's very easy to be inconsistent when spacing out blocks and rows because you may have done padding on different pieces vs rows.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a data driven company. We want to know what works and why, and workshop helps us do that by tracking opens and clicks, down to the exact user. It's especially useful for making sure the information is recieved.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Okay, this one covers all the bases — we love to see it 😄

So glad the platform’s working well across the board, and especially great to hear your IT team had an easy time with setup (we know that’s not always the case).

And huge shoutout back to our support team (they’ll be smiling at this one!!)

Thanks for being part of Workshop (multiple times a week, no less!) — really appreciate it.

 ### 7. Powerful internal communications platform that actually gets employees to read emails

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martino H. | Real estate team leader, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Workshop makes internal communications incredibly easy and effective. The drag-and-drop email editor is intuitive and doesn’t require design or coding skills, which saves tons of time. I also love the analytics — being able to track opens, clicks, read time, and engagement helps us understand what actually works. The integrations with tools like Slack, Teams, and HR systems make targeting and segmentation seamless.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

Pricing may be a bit high for smaller teams since entry plans start around $250/month depending on employee count. Also, some advanced features like automation journeys, segmentation, or SSO are only available in higher tiers.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It centralizes internal communication and replaces scattered email tools, making it easier to create, send, and measure company-wide messages. We can personalize communications, automate campaigns, and ensure employees actually receive and engage with important updates. This has improved clarity, reduced noise, and helped boost engagement across distributed teams.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Martino,

This is so great to hear — thank you!

“Actually gets employees to read emails” is kind of the whole goal 🙂
Really glad the editor is saving you time and the analytics are helping you see what’s landing (and what’s not).

And love that you called out integrations — getting the right message to the right people without extra lift is a big part of making comms actually work.

Appreciate you taking the time to share this.

 ### 8. Enhances Communication with Engaging Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sophia P.

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I really like how easy Workshop is to use, especially since I'm not a designer. It allows for personalizations that align with our branding, which is great. I enjoy that we can send messages via Slack with Workshop, so our audience doesn't have to go into a new forum to find a link. Workshop makes organizing information easy, and the ability to track audience engagement, like reading versus scanning the article, clicking on links, and knowing how and when they open the article, is really beneficial. The initial setup was very easy too.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

Having grids or guidelines for designing templates would be a nice addition. Sometimes it's hard to see if graphics are aligned across a large article and the spacers can get confusing when there are multiple rows and elements. Even an 'align' button would be nice. The undo or 'command+z' feature only works for text and can be difficult when trying to find the best layout for an article. It would also be great if more characters were allowed for the Slack message previews.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workshop to make internal communications more engaging with rich media and design, and track audience engagement, which wasn't possible with Slack alone.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Sophia,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share this!! We really appreciate it.

Hearing that Workshop feels easy to use, even without a design background is exactly what we aim for! It’s also great to hear that the branding flexibility, Slack integration, and engagement insights are making a real difference for your team.

And thank you as well for the thoughtful suggestions around layout tools and Slack previews. Feedback like this helps us continue refining and improving the experience.

We’re so grateful you’re using Workshop and trusting us with your communications. 💙

 ### 9. Intuitive with Robust Metrics, Needs Outlook Fix

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christina L.

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I like the ease of duplicating communications and tracking campaigns. Workshop makes it simple to either copy a recent send or use templates we've created when I have communications on a regular send schedule. I also like being able to neatly organize communications into 'buckets' for easier metrics tracking with grouped categories. Workshop offers cleaner sends and better tracking overall compared to our previous tool, PoliteMail. Additionally, the initial setup of Workshop was fairly easy and intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

Sometimes formatting text and images is clunky, particularly with the known Outlook issue of 1 point lines appearing on final sends. If the emails could send through Workshop into Outlook exactly as they appear in the draft version, that would cut down on a lot of repeated test sends that I need to work through, wasting some of my time. I know it's a known issue, but it has been for a couple years now and a fix or workaround would be much appreciated!

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workshop for email formatting and metrics tracking. I like the ease of duplicating communications and tracking campaigns. Workshop offers cleaner sends and grouped categories for easier metrics tracking, and it's more cost effective compared to PoliteMail.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Christina,

This is such a helpful breakdown — thank you for sharing it.

Love hearing that duplicating sends, using templates, and organizing campaigns into “buckets” is making things easier (and more consistent) for you. And the comparison to your previous tool is especially meaningful — that’s exactly the kind of improvement we hope to deliver.

Also hear you on the formatting side, especially with Outlook. That kind of back-and-forth testing is never ideal, and we appreciate you sticking with us while we keep working to improve that experience.

Really appreciate the honest feedback.

— Cassandra @ Workshop

 ### 10. Simple, Cost-Effective Tool with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emily R.

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I like that Workshop is simple. I've explored more in-depth tools out there, but we're always looking to save costs, so I love the fair price. It gives me what I need without all the extra bells and whistles. It was an easy choice for me. Having used other email software providers in the past, I can say it's more affordable yet lacks nothing essential that I need. I appreciate that it helps eliminate friction when executives need to send emails. It allows them to focus on their priorities while I manage communications.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I had a lot of trouble with my team getting it set up, and I'm not sure if that's because the clarity from their end wasn't as strong as it could be or if it wasn't IT team's number one priority. But, it took way longer than I was promised.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop eliminates friction by allowing me to send emails on behalf of executives, freeing them to focus on the business. It helps with newsletters and special moments, providing what we need without unnecessary extras.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Emily,

Thank you for sharing this. There’s a lot here, and it’s really helpful.

Glad Workshop is hitting that balance of simplicity and value for you. Giving you what you need without extra complexity is exactly the goal. And it’s great to hear it’s helping reduce friction for your exec team so they can stay focused.

We also really appreciate you calling out the setup experience. That’s not the kind of first impression we want, especially when expectations don’t match reality. We’re continuing to make onboarding clearer and more consistent.

Thanks again for the honest feedback. It means a lot.

 ### 11. User-Friendly with Rock-Solid Stability

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael M.

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I use Workshop to send monthly newsletters to our Finance department, and I love its ease of use. The custom templates are reliable and stable, which is a big upgrade for our organization and myself. The user-friendly UI is a joy compared to many other similar tools on the market, with well-organized and clear menus. It's predictable and stable, so I don't worry about crashes or losing work when building a template. The initial setup was incredibly easy, and we had a seamless transition. I would rate it a 10 out of 10, it's a wonderful product.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I can't think of any particular issues. A very minor one that comes to mind is when a Workshop-generated email is forwarded, it can sometimes break the formatting and create a space between sections that should be vertically stacked directly on top of one another. Resolving that would be a great improvement.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workshop to send newsletters easily. Its ease of use, stability, and user-friendly UI are big upgrades, making template building stress-free compared to the previous tool.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> This made our day — thank you so much for sharing this!

“Predictable and stable” might be our favorite kind of feedback (especially when it means no lost work or surprises). Really glad the templates, UI, and overall experience have been such a step up for you — and that setup and transition felt seamless from the start.

Also appreciate the note on forwarded email formatting. That’s a helpful callout, and we know those small details can make a big difference.

Thanks again for the thoughtful review — 10/10 means a lot 😊
— Cassandra @ Workshop

 ### 12. User-Friendly and Customizable with Clean Outputs

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer L.

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I find Workshop to be a user-friendly experience, and I appreciate that it is mobile responsive. I like being able to drag text blocks, photos, and buttons into the content area, which makes it easy to build customizable templates. I also like that communications look very clean, and as a user, I found the initial setup pretty easy.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

The mail merge isn't great, I want it to have the same functions as Word's mail merge. I want the mail merge to be customized depending on the data, like putting data into an Excel or another platform's table and mail merge being able to speak to that data. I also don't like that you can't change the size of tables. I want to change the cell's size.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop provides a user-friendly experience for sending communications, is mobile responsive, and makes it easy to build customizable templates with a clean look.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Really appreciate you sharing this — thank you.

Love hearing that the editor and templates are making things easy and flexible on your side, and that everything feels clean and polished.

Also hear you on the mail merge and table limitations — that’s really helpful feedback. If you’re running into specific use cases there, our team would be happy to dig in with you and see what’s possible (or where we can help bridge the gap).

— Cassandra @ Workshop

 ### 13. So Glad I Googled and Workshop's SEO is On Point...

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Liz F. | Communications Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I like how I can manage and schedule all my internal comms in one place. I can manage our brand look and feel and create templates to share the platform with other stakeholders while maintaining brand standards. The analytics and reporting features help me to tailor my comms to be more effective. The thing that has really stood out to me though are the people behind the platform. From the discovery phase to implementation and post-go live support, the Workshop team has been there every step of the way! Even the free industry workshops have helped me to use the platform more effectively. You guys are awesome.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I wish the open to email button was tracked in CTR. It would be helpful if industry benchmarks were included in the platform, too. More tools to help you understand and interpret your data.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping me to elevate the look and feel of our internal comms. It integrates with Canva which helps the design process, and the analytics help me to report to senior leadership how effective our comms are and help me to adjust based on employee engagement.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> This review made our day! We’re so glad you found us (SEO win!) and that Workshop has helped you level up your internal comms while keeping your brand consistent.

It means a lot to hear that both the platform and our team have supported you every step of the way. Thanks for the great feedback on analytics and benchmarks — we’re always looking for ways to make Workshop even better for you!

 ### 14. Intuitive and Personalize Communications with Analytics

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Olayinka E.

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I recently signed up to Workshop after seeing them at an Internal Comms conference and I find it valuable that I can use it to send emails and change incorrect links without recalling or sending multiple emails. The ability to reach colleagues with timely communications and track how employees are engaging with the content has been great. I really like how easy it is to use; it's user-friendly and very intuitive. I also appreciate that emails look like they are sent to an individual rather than a group because it allows a bit of personalization.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

Setting up Workshop wasn't easy. We had a lot of back and forth with the team on the contract.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop lets me change email links without recall and track employee engagement, reaching colleagues with timely comms. It's user-friendly, intuitive, and personalizes emails to individuals while offering valuable analytics.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Olayinka,

Thanks so much for sharing this — and for stopping by at the conference! 😊

Really glad to hear Workshop is helping you move faster with comms (especially being able to fix links without the whole “oops, ignore the last email” moment). And that mix of personalization + analytics is exactly what we’re aiming for — messages that feel human and actually land.

Also appreciate the honest note on setup. That’s helpful, and we know those early steps matter more than they should. We’re actively working on making that process smoother and more straightforward.

Thanks again for the thoughtful review — it means a lot.

 ### 15. Seamless Employee Communication with Workshop and Outlook Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordan J. | Marketing & Communications Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

We switched to Workshop from Constant Contact when we were having problems with our emails not delivering. We love that Workshop integrates with our Outlook emails, so we know all our employees are receiving our communications. We also communicate with our employees through text, and Workshop makes it easy to send both internal emails and texts simultaneously. The calendar feature makes it easy to see what communications our team has planned. Workshop is constantly innovating, taking customer feedback to heart, and looking for ways to make our experience better.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

We honestly don't have any cons for Workshop. We do wish that they had an events feature. It would make it great for tracking internal event attendees, sending communication about the event, and follow-up surveys afterward.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop helps us communicate internally with our 800+ employees across three states. Most of our 800 employees are out in the field, not the office, so we find that Workshop allows us to communicate important information quickly through email and text.

 ### 16. Streamlined Email Design with Intuitive Controls

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hao Yi K.

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I like that Workshop has convenient and easy to understand controls, along with a drag and drop feature that saves time. I can easily lift my drafted content and drop it straight into the interface, and then play around with the look and feel depending on the tone of the email. The variety of formatting options and customizable capabilities are really valuable, making the process of creating internal email newsletters efficient. The initial setup was pretty simple too.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I would like to have benchmark figures in analytics for enterprise-wide comparison to see how our emails perform.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workshop to send internal newsletters. It solves layout and design issues, ensuring formatting and media assets are properly sized. The drag and drop feature and customizable options save time, allowing easy content integration and flexibility with the look and feel.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Hao Yi K,

Thank you for your positive review!! We're so grateful for you for sharing it.

Love hearing how you’re using the drag-and-drop builder to shape the tone and feel of your emails — that flexibility (without added complexity) is exactly what we’re aiming for. And glad setup felt simple from the start.

Also really appreciate the note on benchmarking. Being able to see how your comms stack up at a broader level is a great callout, and helpful context for where we can keep evolving our analytics.

 ### 17. Intuitive List Building and Game-Changing In-Email Audience Segmentation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Utilities | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

The automatic List building functionality is intuitive and effective. Audience segmentation of content within a single email is a game changer, and has proven to be very valuable in eliminating waste and rework on our team.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

Improved list input options – the ability to paste email addresses directly into the “send to” field, or copy/paste emails when creating a manual List, would significantly speed up ad‑hoc audience creation.

Flexible table formatting – adding the capability to adjust column widths within tables would give communicators more control over layout and readability in emails.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Relying on Active Directory distribution group created by our internal IT team significantly impacted our Internal Communications' teams ability to target information to only those who needed it. Workshop's List building capability and connection to SAP data have eliminating nearly all of these pain points.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

 ### 18. Seamless and Intuitive Internal Communications Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David H.

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I find the list management and Google directory syncing feature to be a breeze with Workshop. The design options are also great, especially the ease of the drag-and-drop functionality. It's easy to send on-brand and attractive newsletters.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I think it would be great if Workshop had a 'multiplayer' feature that allows for simultaneous editing of emails, instead of having to share them back and forth. It can be a bit cumbersome, so I'm hoping this will be addressed in a future release.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workshop for managing multiple disparate lists for on-campus and internal communications, covering HR, event promotion, executive communications, etc. The granularity of user permissions is very helpful. The calendar function is also great for centrally managing comms (blackout days - what a concept!).

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> David,

We are so appreciate the thoughtful review + feedback offered! We hear you on the "multiplayer / collaboration" feature, we are working hard to build this soon!

So glad to hear the list management + easy design has been great! kind of the dream.

Really appreciate the kind words.

 ### 19. Workshop Solves All My Internal Comms Pain Points Effortlessly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danielle A. | Senior Internal Communications Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Workshop is so easy to use. If you think about all of your pain points with other internal comms programs you've used—Workshop pretty much addresses all of that in one platform. They also have some amazing templates to use. It's really helped us level up our internal branding to make our emails look better and more engaging to the reader.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

There's nothing that I dislike about Workshop.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helped up level up our internal comms email branding. Giving us better analytics on how effective our emails are. Since its so easy to use, we've onboarded other members of our larger HR team to start using it as well. This is something that was difficult with past platforms because they weren't easy to use for non-comms people.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We love hearing that Workshop has made your internal communications easier and more effective.

It’s great to know that you’re leveling up your internal branding and empowering more of your HR team to get involved in communications. That’s exactly the kind of impact we hope to make.

We’re so glad you're a part of the Workshop community! 💙

 ### 20. Seamless Setup and Powerful HRIS Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katie D. | Communications Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I love that our lists automatically sync from our HRIS and that we can create targeted lists. I also love that we can customize what fields we use from our HRIS to sync. The setup was seamless on the Workshop side.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

Journeys are still a work in progress. I'd like to be able to have one running each week, resending the same email to the same group at a specific time each week. Also, I'd love the ability to choose an email and 'send to more' instead of creating a new email.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workshop for internal communications. It solves deliverability concerns and segmented sends. I love that our lists automatically sync from our HRIS, allowing us to create targeted lists and customize fields.

 ### 21. Seamless Communication with Modern Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben C. | Product Owner Digital Learning, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I find Workshop to be a highly effective tool for our communications platform at Travel Counselors. It was very easy to adopt due to its modern features and functionality that align with what one would expect from a contemporary communications platform. The transition to Workshop was seamless as it offers enhanced capabilities compared to our old system. In particular, I appreciate the template system, which ensures that all of our communications go out on brand. Embedding content and conducting instant feedback surveys through polls is straightforward and efficient. The ability to conduct scheduled communications ensures nothing is overlooked, which is crucial for a business with a global presence of 2,000 franchisees. Furthermore, the Canva integration is a significant advantage, allowing us to seamlessly incorporate imagery and content into our communications. Importantly, Workshop delivers on what it promises for internal corporate communications, exceeding expectations without overselling, which is invaluable. Overall, its features make it easy to keep our team aligned and informed, embodying our brand and values effectively.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I would like to have the ability to change communication based on specific rules or an individual's performance or role within the business. Although Workshop allows sending communications with different tones to various departments, it would be beneficial if it could tailor messages even further, such as in sales roles, where messages might need to be adjusted based on performance. Additionally, integrating with tools like Power BI for such dynamic communication adjustments would be a valuable feature.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Workshop streamlines our global communications, keeping 2,000 franchisees aligned. It supports branding and facilitates instant feedback. The template and scheduling systems ensure on-brand messaging and timely communications, while Canva integration makes embedding content seamless.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Thank you so much for the thoughtful review. We’re really glad to hear that Workshop’s templates, polls, scheduling, and Canva integration are helping your team stay aligned and on brand across such a large global network. Knowing the switch to Workshop felt smooth and modern truly makes our day.

On the personalization side, one quick note that might be helpful. Workshop can segment on any list you create, not just departments, so if you build automatic lists based on role, performance, or other criteria, you can absolutely tailor versions of a message for each group.

You’re also right that we don’t have a native Power BI integration at the moment. Many customers connect Workshop to Power BI using the Workshop API, so if you want to pull dynamic data into your comms, that’s definitely possible with a little help from someone on your team.

Your Customer Success Manager would be more than happy to talk through list setup or API options whenever you’d like. Thank you again for taking the time to share such thoughtful feedback — we’re so grateful to have you with us.

 ### 22. Efficient Email Communication with Easy Setup

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alice A.

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I really appreciate Workshop's ease of setup, as it was quite straightforward to get started by simply submitting an IT request at my company. The account setup seamlessly linked to my work email, allowing me to quickly sign in and set a password. I enjoy using Workshop because it significantly simplifies the process of sending mass emails with its standard structure and ability to duplicate previous work. The feature I find particularly useful is the test email option, which allows me to see how emails will look before sending them out to everyone, thus minimizing errors. The email design form tools are quite beneficial to me, and the built-in templates facilitate effortless content creation and modification, even when I'm not well-versed in communication emails. The ability to easily edit content and structure is invaluable. Additionally, leveraging Microsoft Forms seamlessly with Workshop for sending invites and gathering responses enhances the workflow. This integration simplifies task management and amplifies the utility of the software in our activities.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I dislike the access rights issue within Workshop. It seems that there is a problem with gaining the correct access rights to certain distribution lists, which requires intervention from colleagues to resolve. This can be inconvenient and indicates that the system may not be as intuitive or self-sufficient in managing access privileges.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Workshop's email templates and editing features streamline my communication, ensuring ease in sending out standard formats and testing emails before mass distribution, which prevents errors.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Thank you so much for sharing such a detailed review! We’re thrilled to hear that Workshop has made it easier to create, test, and send engaging emails — and that features like templates, test sends, and Microsoft Forms integration are simplifying your workflow.

We really appreciate your feedback about access rights and distribution lists. In many cases, those settings are managed by your organization’s IT or admin team, but we know it can still be frustrating. We’re continuing to explore ways to make permissions and access management more intuitive for everyone.

We’re so glad Workshop is helping you streamline your communications, and we’ll keep working to make the experience even smoother!

 ### 23. Intuitive Newsletter Solution with Excellent Templates

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I really appreciate Workshop's readiness and adaptability with features like their open enrollment template, which took a significant load off my tasks. I'm particularly fond of the cloning feature, as it allows me to maintain a cohesive and polished look in my campaigns, ensuring consistency across communications. The metrics provided by Workshop are incredibly valuable, giving me insights that enhance my workflow and strategic decisions. I also find their templates to be excellent, contributing to presenting a professional newsletter to our employees. Overall, the ease with which these elements function together makes Workshop a standout tool for managing our internal newsletter effectively.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I wish we could embed videos directly into the newsletter, but that is not a Workshop limitation. It's actually a limitation of email providers. It just is not the best user experience.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workshop to create cohesive, polished newsletters effortlessly, benefiting from ready-to-go templates like those for open enrollment. The cloning feature keeps my communications consistent, and the available metrics provide valuable insights.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Thank you so much for the thoughtful review! We’re thrilled to hear that Workshop’s templates, cloning feature, and metrics are helping you create consistent, polished newsletters that save time and drive real impact.

We love knowing the open enrollment template made your workload a little lighter — that’s exactly what we designed it for! And you’re right about video embedding — it’s an email provider limitation, but we’re always exploring new ways to improve the experience for readers.

We’re so glad Workshop has become such a helpful part of your communication strategy!

 ### 24. Incredibly Intuitive and Fun—Templates, AI Content Creation, and Seamless Canva Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Workshop is incredibly intuitive and fun to use, with built‑in templates, AI-powered content creation, and seamless integration with Canva that makes building materials faster than ever. It's easy-peasy to set up too and the team has been incredibly helpful in all aspects of support.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

My one small gripe? (and it's super small) You have to create a new block just to add bullets or a numbered list, you can’t drop them straight into the line you’re working on.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating consistent communication templates for our home office associates while being able to measure analytics, like sentiment, click‑throughs, and open rates, and understand how our teams consume content, whether on mobile or desktop.

 ### 25. Incredible platform with incredible customer support!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mollie P. | Owner/Founder, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

The fact that we can sync it to our active directory is a game changer. We can confidently send content knowing we have the most up to date lists and contact information for our team members. It's an incredibly user-friendly platform - our entire HR team and other teams have all learned the platform quickly and easily. I also have to commend the customer service Workshop provides. From my very first interaction at a conference to the sales call to onboarding to my customer support team, it has all been seamless. Every Workshop team member has a great personality and goes above and beyond to help. The onboarding process and implementing it within our company was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

The only downside is not having multiple sources of truth for our lists (i.e., HRIS and Active Directory); however, I know this is something the Workshop team is working on.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to reach our team members via email and text with the most up to date lists and contact information thanks to the 24-hour sync with our Active Directory.

 ### 26. Intuitive Interface, Needs Better Email Integration

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brett B.

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I enjoy the user interface and the design of Workshop. I find it to be very simple and easy to understand, and fairly easy to use. I find the system to be modern and user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I'd like better integration for building emails, especially when it comes to inserting text or information. When I'm trying to create a list of items or action items, everything feels very segmented, and I wish it was a bit more streamlined into one operational phase.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop creates a centralized workflow, allowing me to communicate effectively and share consistent messages across teams.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Really appreciate you sharing this — thank you.

Great to hear the UI is landing as clean and easy to navigate. And also hear you on the email-building experience — especially around creating lists and keeping things flowing naturally. That kind of friction can add up.

Super helpful feedback for us as we keep improving things.

I like that the interface of Workshop is really simple. I also appreciate that the DL list serves get updated automatically, which is a big plus for me. I like the metrics feature because it helps in tracking who's opening the emails. Overall, it's just really easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

At times, the tools feel a little outdated. I feel like there could be more drag and drop.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop integrates well with our listserv, automatically updating it with new employee info. I can track who opens emails, ensuring employees get important HR info.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Thanks for sharing this — really appreciate it.

Simple, easy-to-use, and one less thing to manage manually (those auto-updating lists matter more than they get credit for). Glad the metrics are helping you keep a pulse on engagement, too.

That’s exactly what we’re aiming for.

 ### 28. Effortless Newsletter Creation, User-Friendly Interface

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maggie W.

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I like that Workshop's UI/UX is straightforward and clean, yet it's able to perform almost any task we need. It eliminated the inconsistency between audience machine, platform, and browser. The building process is simple and fast, and it doesn't involve any code. The initial setup was very easy; I had no problem at all.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I'm still learning how to improve the visual aspect by practicing more with Workshop.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop eliminates inconsistencies across machines, platforms, and browsers. It simplifies the process with no coding needed, making the building process fast.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> This is a really thoughtful way to put it — thank you.

Clean and straightforward without sacrificing capability is a tough balance to get right, so it’s great to hear that’s been your experience. And the consistency across devices and platforms is a big one — internal comms shouldn’t change depending on where it’s opened.

Also love hearing that setup felt easy right out of the gate. That’s exactly how it should feel.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I think the only struggle I had wasn't a workshop struggle- is was more of an issue with another platform working with workshop.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is giving us transparency into the efficacy of our communications.
Additionally it is making it easier to automate our communications which allows me to spend my time on other areas in the business.

Workshop is very simple to use, it has a beautiful interface and allows easy, customizable options for creating and designing emails. I can send out mass emails with peace of mind knowing that it will successfully reach employees.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

This is not a major critique, but it would be helpful to have a more comprehensive analytics recap each month, breaking down specific campaigns and metrics.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop allows us to blast emails to broader groups with customized designs as opposed to Outlook or another platform.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Really appreciate you sharing this — thank you.

It’s great to hear the depth of functionality is making a difference, especially with more advanced targeting. That’s exactly where Workshop should shine.

At the same time, we hear you on the experience feeling too manual and complex. That balance between flexibility and simplicity is something we’re actively working to improve, and your feedback is spot on.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I wish certain features were not an add-on, such as Pages or surveys.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop allows us to reach our deskless employees at a nonprofit in the hunger relief space. Our staff is dedicated to the mission, and they need up-to-date information on our initiatives and work. I love that I can share updates by email and QR code to reach employees on digital signage.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Thank you so much for the great review! We’re thrilled to hear that Workshop’s been easy to use and that the analytics are helping you show the impact of your communications.

 ### 34. Incredibly Easy to Use with a User-Friendly Design

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

 ### 35. Great and Intuitive Program -- minor improvements could make a huge difference in user friendliness

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

It is generally a really intuitive program. I was able to go in with very limited prior experience and successfully work out of templates easily. I also like how much of the program works in a drag and drop format, so I can easily move things around while I work. This was a really easy program to pick up and learn, and I feel confident I could easily pass along this knowledge to someone else and teach them to use this program as well. I am the first person outside of our marketing team that we launched the ability to use workshop for, an I am greatly enjoying it!

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I dislike that I cannot add a background color to a section unless there is content within that section. I think for me, it would be easier to visualize the final product if they would just allow that placeholder color to be put there. I also like the photo and gif options included, but wish there were more of them. I also wish I could resize photos by simply pulling on the corners or sides of them the way you an in many other applications. Having to go back in select the photo again and then edit the size there makes it really difficult to get photos to be the size you would like on the page.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am utilizing Workshop to send our weekly HR internal newsletters. I really enjoy all of the campaign features that allow me to see how many people are viewing this, clicking articles and engaging with the content overall. It is really good for a weekly newsletter because it is really simple to pull up the previous weeks and work out of that.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We’re so glad to hear that Workshop has been easy to learn and that you’re enjoying creating your HR newsletters with it. It’s awesome to know the templates and drag-and-drop tools are helping make things faster and simpler to build.

We really appreciate your thoughtful feedback about photo resizing and background colors — that kind of insight helps us keep making Workshop even better.

Thank you again for being part of the Workshop community! 💙

 ### 37. Excellent, easy to use internal comms platform!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Incorporating Workshop into our internal communications has been a breeze and absolutely wonderful. For the first time, we actually have data that we can track, to see how our newsletters are performing! The intuitive design features make drafting my weekly emails easy, and the template feature saves me time each week. As one of the main users of the platform in our organization, I'm in Workshop every week drafting, planning, executing comms, and exporting data. We've only been using the platform for about 6 months, and it's provided us many insights!

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

We've come across some limitations in the template/design builder, but they appear to be more of a Gmail issue than Workshop (certain fonts not rendering appropriately). There is also some specific data I would love to have available to export directly from Workshop, but it is not, so I've been trying to create some separate scripts on my end to get me the data I need.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Workshop, we never had any data available to us on our internal email communications. Now, we can pull that data and share out with leadership, allowing us to track trends and optimize content over time.

 ### 38. Intuitive to Use and Generates Insights with Data

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Libraries | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

While we're still at the beginning of our internal comms journey, integrating this tool to level up our internal emails has been a game-changer. The platform is very easy to use, accessible, and gives us data that helps inform our strategies. The templates makes visually appealing emails easy, and the data allows for seamless retargeting.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

One small thing that would be helpful is to have additional tagging functionality on the emails (or allow a single email to be part of more than one campaign when it comes to looking at analytics). For example, we have a large facilities project on the horizon that we sometimes talk about in standalone emails and other times as one item in a larger newsletter. It would be great to have these emails tagged as both part of our newsletter campaign and our project campaign.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have 13 distinct physical locations and Workshop helps us make sure everyone is on the same page and staying connected with the larger system.

 ### 39. Best internal email tool out there, based on extensive research and usage

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Staffing and Recruiting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Web-based and works like an email marketing tool, rather than integrating with Outlook
Ability to have the emails come from anybody and replies go to anybody. You can truly send on behalf of senior leaders
Syncs very easily with HRIS data (for distribution lists)
Receive detailed data on each individual email recipient, which can then be grouped by your existing email distribution lists
Extensive formatting/design options, including ability to make it look like just a regular Outlook email
Implementation was pretty seamless
Customer service is not really ever needed, but it's good when you need it
More features if you want to pay for them (SharePoint/Teams integrations, improved customer service, embedded surveys, audience segmentation for different rows of emails, time zone sending, data API, etc.)

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

There is one minor annoying footer at the bottom of the emails that I haven't been able to get rid of based on the way our email security is set up ("This email has been scanned by the Symantec Email Security.cloud service")

Sending a reply to an existing email is a little manual/cumbersome

The emails have fixed widths and so will not look 100% like a normal Outlook email

I wish I could customize the data reporting a little more (though there is an API if you pay for it)

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to manage all internal emails on my own without executives needing to send their own emails
Getting detailed data on internal emails
Delivering formatted messages

 ### 40. Easy to use and great for internal communication

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I really appreciate how easy Workshop is to use. The templates save me a ton of time, and everything feels really straightforward. Even when I’m juggling a lot, I can get a nice-looking message out quickly without overthinking it. It’s made internal comms feel more manageable and way less stressful.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

The builder can be a little limiting when you’re trying to make something more custom or move elements around. It’s not a huge issue, but there are moments when it takes a few extra clicks to get things just right. Still, overall it’s a solid tool that keeps improving.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop has helped us bring everything into one place. We have a lot of different internal audiences, and it’s been great to have one platform where we can message everyone without bouncing between tools. It’s also a huge plus that our lists stay up to date automatically since it’s connected to our intranet — we don’t have to worry about sending something to the wrong group or managing lists manually. It’s made things more streamlined, more secure, and honestly just easier to manage.

 ### 41. Extremely Helpful Dynamic Lists with Flexible, Intuitive Email Targeting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

The automatic/dynamic lists are extremely helpful and one of the main reasons we moved to Workshop. The process of creating one is intuitive and it gives you lots of flexibility to slice and dice. Moreover, when sending the email, you have the option to include (or remove) one-off people who may have been missed by the filters.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

There are still some tiny things that could be improved, such as formatting within blocks (and the ease in which to make formatting changes). A small price to pay for an otherwise great platform.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communicating to the correct audience, at a time that works for them.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> We're delighted to hear that our automatic/dynamic lists and email targeting options are meeting your needs. Your feedback on formatting is valuable, and we'll strive to enhance the user experience. Thank you for choosing Workshop to improve your audience communication.

 ### 42. Easy to use, powerful results

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hunter R. | Head of Customer Success Operations, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Workshop makes creating beautiful emails easy and accessible, with helpful integrations (like Slack) to help maximize the reach and impact of your content. The block editor is intuitive and even fun to use, making newsletter creation a breeze, while templating options support scalability across programs.

Performance metrics are clear, actionable, and provide valuable insights into key KPIs, helping teams continuously improve their communication efforts.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I don't dislike anything about Workshop.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop has created a tool for us to deliver team specific insights to the broader company, increasing visibility of impact our team is having with our customers, along with amplifying the voice of the customer program.

 ### 43. My Daily Internal Email Workhorse

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Civil Engineering | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Workshop's platform is clean and easy to navigate. I use it daily to build emails quickly with the drag and drop features. Implementation was smooth, and the Workshop team worked closely with our IT team to get us up and running. Support has been incredible; they're always super responsive and helpful. Overall, we integrated Workshop into our daily workflows quickly, and we would be lost without it!

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

As a fairly new product, Workshop has its share of bugs. Sometimes the service does go down (although this is quite rare). In the early days, there were some annoying aspects of sending emails for approval that have been improved with product updates.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our leaders wanted to be more transparent with our 1,500 employees and communicate with them directly. Workshop allows us to send emails on their behalf that look great and are up to our brand standards.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> “My daily workhorse” — we love to hear that 🙂

So glad Workshop has become such a core part of your day-to-day, and that setup and adoption felt smooth from the start. And the shoutout to our support team really means a lot.

Also appreciate the honest feedback on bugs and early quirks. We’ve come a long way there, and we’re continuing to make things more reliable with every update.

Thanks for sticking with us and sharing this!

 ### 44. A solve for nearly all comms challenges!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

This is my favorite internal comms platform! A rare tool that balances cost with quality. Priced fairly for how easy to use it is, and how many features it has. We adopted the tool because it was easy to build emails and campaigns, and the analytics are stellar (with read times!). They take feedback and introduce valuable improvements over time. One example is you can change links after you send the email. This gives an extra layer of confidence to our comms team, who is always scared to hit "send" in fear of a broken link.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I can't think of anything, honestly. If the pricing wasn't so favorable, I'd maybe be disappointed about new add-ons that cost more, but that is typical and I can't really complain. :)

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ability to send emails on behalf of executives, ability to measure read times

 ### 45. Workshop is amazing!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** garrett h. | Security analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

My experience with Workshop far exceeds my experience with similar apps! Easy to set up, easy to navigate with a very clean and user friendly UI. If you are done monkeying around with other apps try Workshop today!

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

It's hard to say what I dislike about Workshop as it has exceeded expectations since we swapped over from MailChimp. If I could name something I dislike maybe it's the lack of control, you have with adjusting image sizes in certain situations.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Companywide communication of our Security program. keeping users informed and ready for anything that comes their way!

 ### 46. Easy to Use and Professional, But Collaboration Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Platform is simple to use. Newsletters look professional. Customer service is prompt. employee directory integration and metrics.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

The platform does not perform when collaborating. Buggy issues in sharing templates and no more than 1 person can work in a template at the same time. Yet error messages do not inform so work is lost. Very frustrating. Customer support could be more sympathetic and not simply blame the user when issue is actually one with the platform.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing professional looking newsletters for staff engagement.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re so glad to hear that you find Workshop simple to use and that it’s helping you create professional, engaging newsletters for your team.

We really appreciate your honest feedback about collaboration and template sharing. We know how important real-time editing and smooth teamwork are, and we’re actively working on improvements to make collaboration more reliable and seamless.

Your input helps us continue to build a better experience for every communicator — thank you for helping us get there.

 ### 47. Great Experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ellen L. | Marketing Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

As well as allowing us to create beautiful internal comms emails, Workshop has streamlined our internal comms output to allow teams to be self-sufficient and also make our working practices more efficient. It is easy to use and even easier to be onboarded onto and integrate with our existing systems. Our account managers are always responsive to questions and queries.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

There are always upgrades we would like to see as users but for the most part, I have no complaints.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our graphics team was being bottlenecked with requests for engaging and beautifully designed internal comms emails that ended up being images inserted into an email. Workshop allows us to easily create HTML emails and track how effective our output is through analytics.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Thank you for such a thoughtful review. It's great to hear that Workshop has helped your team streamline comms and work more efficiently across departments. We love knowing it's made onboarding and daily use smooth, and that it's become a tool your teams can rely on.

The shift away from design bottlenecks is something we hear often, so it's especially rewarding to know your graphics team is now freed up and you're able to create engaging HTML emails with ease. That kind of internal shift can really change how work gets done.

We also appreciate your note on upgrades. Hearing from day-to-day users helps us prioritize and improve, and we’re always listening. Thanks again for your partnership—we’re glad to be part of your internal comms toolkit.

 ### 48. Intuitive Platform with Outstanding Support and Solid Performance

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

The platform is incredibly user-friendly with a clean, intuitive interface. What really stood out was the outstanding support we received throughout the entire sales process and onboarding. Everything was seamless with a smooth hand-off between teams. Everyone we've interacted with has been highly responsive and genuinely helpful.

The features are great, and everything works effortlessly, which has made adoption simple and fast. I also love the look and feel you can create with Workshop. It allows for professional, branded communications that actually feel engaging. On top of that, the analytics behind it are solid, giving us the insights we need to track performance and continuously improve.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

The main downside so far is the lack of automation between Workshop and BambooHR, which would really streamline some of our internal comms processes. We're also currently waiting on two key updates: (1) the ability to automate sending work anniversary and birthday emails, and (2) the option to trigger automated email series (like a multi-email onboarding flow for new employees). The good news is that both features are on the roadmap and expected to launch by EOY at the latest. So far, the Workshop team has always delivered on their promises, so I’m confident these updates are coming soon.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Improve communication flow
Provide much needed email analytics
Better digital employee experience & improve engagement

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Thanks so much for the thoughtful review! We're glad to hear that Workshop’s intuitive design, seamless onboarding, and responsive support have made such a positive impression. It’s great to know the platform has helped you quickly adopt branded, engaging communications—with the analytics to back it up.

We also appreciate your feedback on automation. You're right: deeper BambooHR integration and automated workflows are on our roadmap and expected by year-end. We're committed to delivering on these and will keep you posted as they roll out.

Thanks again for sharing your experience—we’re excited to keep growing with you!

 ### 49. Great Data Insights, But Needs More Customization and Better Integrations

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I like the data insights on clicks and what people are clicking. It is fairly easy to use once you play around in there

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I wish there was more customization to it and also better integration with tools like CANVA. It is not overly easy to implement things like videos and hyperlinks

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is showing us great insights on clicks and what people are clicking which has allowed us to adjust our newsletter to get better results.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Thank you for the review! We’re glad you’re finding value in Workshop’s data insights and using them to fine-tune your newsletters!

We really appreciate your feedback on customization and integrations. Good news — Workshop actually does integrate with Canva, so you can easily bring your branded designs right into your comms. You can view more about that and explore other integrations https://useworkshop.com/integrations/

Thanks again for sharing your experience and helping us make Workshop better!

 ### 50. A total game-changer for sending emails internally!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Relations and Communications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Workshop is user-friendly, clean, and aesthetically pleasing, both for those using the tool and for those on the receiving end of emails. I appreciate Workshop's helpful features, including the calendar overview for at-a-glance planning, campaign highlights, employee text messaging capabilities, and the free templates in the template library. The analytics and reports are great and ready to share as well!

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

There isn't anything I dislike about Workshop; it is an excellent tool for those looking for an internal email platform for their organization.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gone are the days of designing a newsletter in Canva, adding tracking links, downloading and saving it as a PDF, and sending it via Gmail to employees. Workshop makes it easy to design, send, track, and monitor internal newsletters all in one place (and they look great, too!). Texting employees, particularly frontline workers is also easier than ever with Workshop (and it's two-way).

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Thank you so much for the fantastic review! We're so glad you're enjoying Workshop’s clean design, planning tools, and campaign features—especially the calendar view, text messaging, and templates. It's great to hear the analytics and reports are hitting the mark too!

And we truly appreciate your kind words—knowing there's nothing you'd change means a lot. Thanks for being part of the Workshop community!
