We have implemented Workmates one year ago. We use it as our internal "Facebook" page. It's an easy way to communicate with our employees, especially those who do not have a company e-mail address. We have a large manufacturing population and the fact that they can read anoouncements/posts on their mobile devices is super helpful. We do various contests, give each other Kudos, see our employees' anniversaries and birthdays. Our employees love this product. The website and app are very user friendly and act similar to social media feeds that many of us are familiar with. I've been so impressed with the level of customer service and how quickly they respond and adapt to customer feedback. We have only been using HR Cloud for 5 months, and in that short time there have been at least 6 recommendations/requests that I've provided and within weeks, updates were made to their platform. My only criticism would be that workmates needs to allow for spacing between paragraphs on posts. When I press enter, it only places my text on the next line instead of leaving a space in between. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My favorite part about workmates is how it promotes peer-to-peer interaction in a work space. Integration with Slack helps keep everything in one space as well, and helps promote interaction even more. There are certain settings that are to be desired to allow complete customization, but as workmates has aged in development, they have included more and more settings. I'm hopeful for the future of this product and hope eventually that there is even more API documentation to promote internal integrations. One thing that would be a great addition would be the ability to give anonymous feedback, while keeping the feedback private to other co-workers, to help promote feedback within the company.

The only downside I could really be vocal about is the fact that often times it feels slow, sometimes it takes a while to load pages or actions. I'm unsure if it has to do with how it is hosted or how it operates on the back end. However, I'm hopeful that in the future this is something that they'll work on improving.
