I like that with Workiva, there's never downtime, and the support people along with our success manager are very responsive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Workiva? The reporting function is problematic, and the roles for user access are too limited/confusing. The testing and workpaper user experience feels clunky, and there are weird workflows and control fields. There are also a lot of random documents created by requests and testing. Copy-pasting from excel must be utilized only via ctrl+c and ctrl+v; makes it difficult for users with limited keyboard access (ie, only one hand free/exclusively using a mouse). Multiple user at one time. If excel somehow make it multiple user friendly, Wdesk would be obsolete. That is honestly the only reason why we decided to use their service in the first place Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Workiva? Everything. I'm actually shocked at the five stars reviews. What are you guys getting that we are not? I understand Workiva is still working to perfect their products but listen to your customers if you still developing. We use Wdesk for Audit function. Things I very much dislike: 1. Access. The same people with same access level doesnt have access to certain stuff but the other people with same access are able to get into things. 2. Miscommunication on access level. They told us these access level can do this and that but when we try it wont let us. Sometimes it feels their own employees don't understand their own product. 3. Workiva doesnt understand what audit is and our needs. They also don't listen and upload the wrong items. 4. We can't submit our testing when finished. All fields are filled out and cant submit testing for review. We don't know what trigger the "send for review". When we change the status to "testing complete...reviewable" it doesnt trigger to the reviewer. 5. Since we cant do most of the functions. They have become a bottleneck of a system, our work is on hold because we can't perform these functions. They also don't respond to email fast enough. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
