## Workfront Reviews
 ### 1. Excellent Workstream Visibility with a Clear Audit Trail and Centralized Proofing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erick J. | Sr. Marketing Automation Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

The best part is definitely the visibility it provides across different workstreams. I love that I can jump into a project and immediately see the full audit trail—who approved what and when. It’s also great for resource management; it gives a clear picture of my team's bandwidth so we don't over-commit. Having a single place for proofing and feedback instead of digging through endless email chains is a massive lifesaver for my daily productivity

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

The UI feels really heavy and a bit clunky at times. the learning curve is steep, especially for team members who aren't project managers by trade. I also find the search and filtering logic to be frustratingly specific; if you don't know the exact project name or ID, finding a past task can take way longer than it should.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem it solves is the total lack of visibility that usually happens in a global company. Before Workfront, tracking the progress of a campaign meant digging through hundreds of emails or chasing people on Slack just to find out who had the latest version of a brief. Now, everything is centralized.

 ### 2. Complex but Invaluable for Large Teams

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Praney M. | Product Design Manager 2, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I liked the level of workflow visibility that Workfront provided once everything was properly structured. It was great for larger projects with multiple contributors, approvals, and dependencies. The customization flexibility was also a big plus because it allowed different teams to adapt workflows based on their operational needs instead of forcing everyone into the exact same structure. The reporting and workload visibility features were useful for understanding bottlenecks and tracking project progress. I think its strongest value really shows up in teams managing complex operational workflows.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

One of the biggest challenges for us was the overall complexity of the platform, especially during onboarding and workflow setup. The UI also felt slightly dated in certain areas compared to some newer project management tools we tested. Simple actions occasionally took more clicks than expected, and some team members initially found navigation confusing. Maintaining highly customized workflows sometimes created operational overhead for admins and managers. For regular contributors or new team members, it sometimes felt harder than necessary to perform simple actions quickly. The first few weeks definitely require adjustment and internal process training.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workfront centralizes task ownership and approvals, solving visibility issues across teams and reducing confusion during delivery cycles. It consolidates timelines and dependencies, minimizing the need for separate tools and manual follow-ups.

 ### 3. Highly Customizable, Ideal for Large Enterprises

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lauren W. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I really value Workfront's robust options for customization. These options are a huge help as they let us solve unique circumstances effectively. I also appreciate that Workfront allows us to say 'yes' to solutions most of the time, and if not, there's a space to provide feedback for future improvements.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

Reviewing the Release notes through several links to get to the content is not ideal. I wish Workfront would better prepare their customers with best practices for areas of review to consider when introducing new features, so it doesn't shift that burden to the customer. Maybe create a Workfront project to walk the system admin through the Release Review so that the information is actionable and easily surfaced for review, documentation of validation, and offer best practice for any governance or instance considerations as a result of the change. With AI, there's also an opportunity for growth to prompt, with analysis, to inform System Admins about the actionable areas of their choosing. (Great advancements in AI are coming!) Setup isn't difficult, but you will need to make sure that you have taken training and read documentation to determine governance and best practices before introducing technical debt you didn't intend.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workfront for end-to-end workflow management, which helps with specific products, services, client onboarding, and support processes. It offers robust customization options, allowing us to tailor solutions to unique circumstances.

 ### 4. Powerful Task Management, Confusing Interface

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris L. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I find the kanban board feature in Workfront nice and easy to use for specific projects. It's critical for our daily scrum and for me personally as a daily task tracker. It helps me keep my commitments in check, complete my leadership goals, and still take on new opportunities to help peers and customers. With the kanban board and project tracker, I can see a realistic view of my committed and free time to avoid overcommitting. I can also track and generate reports on barriers to completion, specifically items blocked by others, and escalate as needed.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

The UX is not great. It is very hard to find anything. The taxonomy and nomenclature is not easy to follow. It feels like a lot of assumptions were made that people already know what they are doing when this was built rather than assuming people need assistance. Creates a longer than should be required onboarding experience and even after using Workfront for many years it is hard to find a lot of things or tell what items belong to which project. Additionally, the notification emails are excessive and don't "say" anything. Use some of this fancy AI to give me a summary or filter out if this email is really an email I need. Yes, I understand you can set notification options, but still... it's frustrating. Labored. Significant learning curve.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workfront optimizes my tasks and workloads, helps establish realistic timelines, provides team visibility, and tracks trends. The kanban board is critical for scrum, task tracking, maintaining commitments, tracking barriers, and generating reports to prevent overcommitment.

 ### 5. Highly Configurable, Ideal for Marketing Teams

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leif B. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I love how easy it is to configure in Workfront. As a former developer, one of the challenges we experienced was supporting teams with in-house-built tools. The development timeframe was inconsistent and frustrated the users. Workfront makes this so much easier and is very usable out-of-the-box. Workfront organizes my work with a centralized intake for enhancement requests, project tasks for the configuration team, and oversight of team-related work. Workfront had better project management and proofing capabilities at the time. There was better support and now the benefits to it tying to the Adobe ecosystem made Workfront a logical choice.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

I really wish boards were better integrated with the entire platform. It has so much promise, especially for teams looking to migrate from Jira and those adopting agile methodology. Better integration with Workfront projects, better grouping and filters, and consistent performance are needed. We tried more with Fusion integration, but it was hard to support, and users didn't see it as a viable Jira replacement.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workfront centralizes my work intake, organizes project tasks, and provides oversight. It offers better project management and proofing, plus integrates with the Adobe ecosystem, making it a logical choice for our team.

 ### 6. Flexible and Centralized Process Management Tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael S. | Marketing Quality Assurance Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I like Workfront for its ability to organize and centralize marketing, product, and compliance work into a single tool. The flexibility to adapt to a variety of processes and keep things organized across many teams is a huge plus. I also appreciate that communication generally works well and I can track task and project status efficiently. Workfront provides a single entry point for process management, which simplifies operations.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

Administratively, business rules need to be expanded to allow for multiple rules on a single object. This has been a great feature but an administrative nightmare that has led to many formulation issues. It needs to allow for more than one object and trigger function, like task edit, and not just one for the whole enterprise.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workfront organizes and centralizes marketing, product, and compliance work, providing a single entry point for process management. It adapts to various processes, keeping things organized across teams, with effective communication and tracking of tasks and projects.

 ### 7. Boosts Visibility and Workflow Efficiency, But Slow Support Response

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jen D. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I find Workfront valuable for managing incoming work requests for our Marketing creative team. It offers better visibility to our entire body of work and ease of access through custom dashboards. I appreciate how it creates more efficient workflows, saving us time. I like the ease of access for our users and how it helps get work moving forward within our team. Leadership enforcement to ensure everything flows through Workfront is also critical to our success.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

Adoption to using Workfront to submit work has been a huge challenge. Additionally, with a recent bug we encountered, Adobe Support was very slow to respond and resolve, even though we understand the issue affected multiple clients. The initial setup took about 6 months, requiring the help of a Workfront engineer who was critical to our launch.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I manage incoming work requests and project timelines with Workfront. It gives better visibility to the entire work body, ease of access with custom dashboards, and creates efficient workflows that save time. Adoption has been challenging, but the product itself is problem-free.

 ### 8. Optimize Processes, But with a Steep Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jorge Miguel M. | Brand, Content & Strategy Lead | POINT

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I really like Workfront because it allows the integration of different tools, which optimizes my team's work and improves the final result. The visibility of projects from start to finish allows me to see the status of each delivery in one place, including who has the deliverable, what stage of approval it is in, and how long it has been. The automated approval flows and integrated proofing have eliminated endless email threads. Additionally, the customizable dashboards allow me to track progress without having to ask each collaborator for updates. The integration with Adobe Creative Cloud has also been very valuable, especially when working with design teams.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

Regarding the aspects of Workfront that I believe could be improved, I would say that its usability could still be enhanced because I feel that the interface is a bit cluttered. I also think that the learning curve is steep, and new users often get lost among so many views and options. Additionally, I have noticed that sometimes the platform becomes slow, especially when managing large projects or complex reports. The mobile experience also falls short compared to the desktop version, as the app does not allow for all the necessary functions in the field. Reports require knowledge of text mode for advanced customizations, which is not intuitive for the average user. Integrations with Credit Cloud could be more seamless and bidirectional. Lastly, I find that notifications can be too numerous or not configurable enough, which creates noise in our work.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workfront helps me scale projects at the enterprise level, standardize and streamline processes. It facilitates process visibility, allows integration with tools like Adobe, and optimizes teamwork by eliminating the chaos of emails and Excel sheets by centralizing everything in one place.

 ### 9. Highly Customizable and Integratable, But Setup is Demanding

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Betsy R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I like how customizable Workfront is and how it can seamlessly integrate with other systems across my organization through Fusion and AI collaborators, cutting down the time between execution and alignment. I love the UX; it sets the standard across the industry. The platform provides me with the flexibility to adapt to changes in our tech stack, allowing seamless integration with financial systems, CRM, sales workflows, and internal proprietary platforms. I appreciate the interface and the flexibility to build it to suit my business.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

Greater financial capabilities - ability to track allocations on accounts at a higher level for annual agency resource planning. The initial setup was not easy and requires quite an investment.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workfront enhances resource and task management, streamlines workflow efficiency, and improves approval governance. Its customization and integration capabilities reduce execution time and align with our systems, providing flexibility during tech changes.

 ### 10. Workfront: A Single Source of Truth for Scalable Marketing Ops

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ketan S. | Digital Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

What I Like: High-Level Control and Creative Sync

What stands out most to me is how Workfront creates a single source of truth across the entire marketing lifecycle. As a marketer, the native integration with Adobe Creative Cloud is a real game-changer: designers can stay in Photoshop while I manage their tasks and timelines in Workfront. It keeps everyone working in the tools they prefer, without losing context or data along the way.

The Request Queue system is another highlight. It standardizes how work enters the department by requiring stakeholders to complete specific forms before a project even begins. That structure cuts down on the “drive-by” requests that pop up in Slack or email, and it helps ensure the right creative briefs and assets are in place so the team can start with clarity.

The Proofing and Approval tools are, in my view, among the best in the industry. I can leave precise, pin-point comments on videos, PDFs, and landing pages directly within the platform. This avoids the “v2_final_final_v3” file-naming chaos and maintains a clear audit trail of who approved what and when, which is essential for brand compliance.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

What I Dislike: Complexity and Learning Curves

My biggest frustration is the steep learning curve. Workfront is extremely powerful, but that power comes with a complex user interface that can feel “clunky” or “heavy” compared with more modern, nimble apps. As a result, new users may end up clicking through multiple layers of menus just to complete a simple task, which can create real “tool fatigue” if the setup and workflows aren’t streamlined.

There’s also a notable administrative overhead. Because the platform is so customizable, it often requires a dedicated “System Admin” to keep everything running smoothly and consistently. If an organization doesn’t invest in a solid rollout or an internal expert, the system can quickly turn into a messy “digital junk drawer,” where tasks and projects get buried in outdated folders and are harder to find.

Finally, the pricing and overall resource requirements are high. It’s an expensive tool built for large teams (usually 50+ users). For smaller marketing teams, the cost—along with the time needed to set up sophisticated automation, sometimes with the help of an external consultant—can end up outweighing the benefits of the features provided.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

How It Benefits You: Strategy and Visibility

In my specific role, the biggest benefit is strategic alignment. Workfront lets you connect day-to-day tasks to high-level marketing goals, so you aren’t just “sending an email”—you’re completing a tactic tied to a “Q1 Growth Campaign.” That connection makes it much easier to demonstrate the value of your marketing efforts to leadership, especially with its robust reporting dashboards.

It also helps solve the resource management puzzle. As a marketer, you don’t always know whether your creative team is underwater or sitting idle. Workfront gives you a “bird’s-eye view” of everyone’s capacity, so you can move deadlines or reassign tasks based on real-time data instead of guesswork. In practice, that clarity can help prevent team burnout.

Lastly, it offers strong scalability. If your marketing department grows or you start working with external agencies, Workfront is built to handle that kind of scale. It provides the structure needed to manage thousands of assets and hundreds of simultaneous campaigns without the wheels falling off your operations.

 ### 11. Flexible Workflow Solution with Room for Integration Improvements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Saravana P. | Adobe Architect, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I find Workfront's extensibility and flexibility really beneficial because it allows me to set up granular custom requirements and organization-level governance simultaneously. It's powerful in creating custom forms tailored for different suppliers, which helps in standardizing while catering to their specific needs. The ability to maintain organizational governance while meeting specific supplier requirements is a key advantage. Additionally, the setup of Workfront was easy and took less than a couple of months after we figured out the standard processes.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

The integration tool we use with Workfront, called Workfront Fusion, isn't developer friendly. It's difficult to troubleshoot, and we don't get adequate logging. These are problems we're facing, and it could be improved.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workfront to unify our content intake, solving issues with siloed systems and enabling standardized content submission and governance. It improves our content supply chain.

 ### 12. Effortless Collaboration & Insightful Reporting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** betsy k. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I like that the user interface of Workfront is easy to navigate, which makes using it straightforward. The response time matches how quickly users can navigate, which is efficient. I also appreciate how Workfront integrates with Adobe Assets and CrossCap, making it more versatile. Additionally, when we switched to Workfront from our outdated home-grown FileMaker-based system, the setup was very easy once we had defined our business process.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

I don't like the out of cycle product and bug fixes that are not announced ahead of time. Also, I want Workfront to stop putting legal sign off for AI and trials into the UI. Those need to go through our legal department that does not use Workfront.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workfront improves cross-team collaboration, provides insight into project tasks and timelines, and fulfills reporting needs for KPI and goal tracking.

 ### 13. Versatile Campaign Management with Room for UI/UX Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** suleman t.

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I love how Workfront serves as a great orchestration layer and a fantastic campaign management tool. It's awesome for everything from intake to planning, workflow management, workload and resource management, and integration with both downstream and upstream systems through Workfront + Fusion. You're really only limited by your imagination in how, where, and what Workfront can be used for.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

The UI/UX for the request form isn't very user-friendly and has room for improvement. Applying CSS styling based on client needs is a challenge, as the forms are quite generic and can cause clients to get hung up.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workfront serves as the conduit for content supply chain and is a fantastic campaign management tool, providing a great orchestration layer. From intake to planning, workflow management, and integration to other systems, Workfront plus Fusion handles it all smoothly.

 ### 14. Easy Collaboration with Flexible Workflows

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** nancy n. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I use Workfront for project management, and it allows multiple team members to work on the same content and provide approvals or review, which is really helpful. I particularly like the ability to see different views of the workflow, which makes it versatile. It's also an easy way to share content, which is beneficial for teamwork. Overall, it's a good tool for the entire team to collaborate and knowledge share while being productive. The setup was pretty easy since leadership led the way on it, which helped with adoption.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

nothing. I like everything about the product.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workfront to allow multiple team members to work on the same content, provide approvals or reviews, view different workflow perspectives, and easily share content. It's a good tool for team collaboration and knowledge sharing while being productive.

 ### 15. Integrates Well but Steep Learning Curve

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sujatha D. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I appreciate that Workfront integrates with AEM, Assets, and my tech stack, making it valuable for our workflow. It makes collaboration easier and enhances project and program management. I also like that our work management automatically creates and maintains digital assets in the DAM.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

I think some of the user interface is PM or IT friendly. Marketers are a visual people. task 100% complete vs a green "done" check goes a long way. There are also gaps when an aging projects, the lack of connectivity between marketer actions, meta data fields to tasks status and dates in the project. The learning has been slow. Welcome was a more marketer friendly UX.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workfront makes collaboration and project management easier. It integrates with my tech stack, automating digital asset creation in the DAM.

 ### 16. Robust Work Management Platform Built for Complex, Cross-Functional Work

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kaylee R. | Marketing Operations Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

What I like best about Workfront is how customizable and scalable it is for complex, cross-functional workflows. The request queues, custom forms, and templates make it easy to standardize intake and ensure teams provide the right information upfront, which significantly reduces back-and-forth. Reporting, dashboards, and text mode allow for deep visibility into work status and accountability, and when paired with Workfront Fusion, it becomes a powerful automation tool that saves time and reduces manual effort. It’s especially strong for enterprise teams that need structure, governance, and flexibility all in one platform.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

While Workfront is extremely powerful, the user interface and personalization options are somewhat limited. I wish there were more flexibility with visual customization such as colors, headers, fonts, and company branding to improve usability and make the experience feel more modern. Additionally, the learning curve can be steep for new users, especially given how many features and configuration options are available.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workfront solves the challenge of managing complex, cross-functional work by providing a centralized platform where all requests, tasks, and projects are visible and trackable. It prevents work from falling through the cracks by enforcing structured intake, clear ownership, and standardized workflows. This has benefited me by improving team alignment, reducing manual coordination and status updates, and giving leadership real-time visibility into progress and capacity. The reporting and dashboards make it easier to identify bottlenecks and forecast delivery timelines, which in turn helps teams plan more effectively and deliver work with higher confidence and consistency.

 ### 17. Organized Task Management but Cumbersome Interface

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexander D. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I find that all the details for tickets are in one place, which is nice. It makes it easy to communicate with other members involved in any given ticket. I also find the different tasks within a project useful because you can see the entire scope of the project and not just the parts that you're involved in. I just like it because it's very organized.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

I find the user interface to be cumbersome. And I think it could benefit from a revamped UI similar like, a Jira. Not very easy. It's very cumbersome.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workfront to centralize ticket details and improve communication with team members on tasks. It's useful for seeing the entire project scope, not just bits I'm involved in. It's very organized.

 ### 18. AI Assistant Streamlines Workflow Effortlessly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Autumn N. E. | Marketing Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I like how Workfront streamlines processes for managing work and assets in campaigns, events, and other needs, making tasks more efficient. The new AI assistant is a big plus as it makes my life easier when implementing work for clients, especially with existing data in an Excel sheet. I appreciate that it inputs data into Workfront automatically without the need for manual entry. Also, the initial setup was easy, which was a relief. Workfront is something I would highly recommend to others.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

Reviews and approvals are coming a long way and I want more historical data on changes within forms.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workfront to streamline managing work and assets for campaigns. The AI assistant eases implementation by automatically inputting existing Excel data, eliminating manual entry.

 ### 19. A Single Source of Truth for Our Marketing Workflow

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tiffany M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I like that it serves as single source of truth for marketing workflow, especially when helping clients implement content supply chain. Most clients don't have a mechanism for tracking marketing/creative activities.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

It's difficult to get clients/marketers to adopt Workfront or get them to use the tool consistently. Most change management efforts fall flat which impacts the entire CSC.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to track and manage multiple projects, track how we are leveraging our resources, and optimize the way we work. It helps us drive faster speed to market.

 ### 20. Automated Workflows and In-Depth Reporting with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Koustuv N. | Senior Account Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I like Workfront for its centralized work and project management, which helps make work more organized. The detailed reporting feature is great, as it gives in-depth measurement and visibility of the work. I also appreciate the API integration with various tools, which adds flexibility, and the great UI that enhances my experience. The automation in Workfront helps in quicker responses to customers and better team coordination, improving productivity. Additionally, Workfront offers better customization options, more detailed dashboards, and competitive pricing compared to JIRA. The onboarding team offered comprehensive training, which was beneficial.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

There are times where the system lags a bit if the data set is large. Also, since it is not a traditional ticketing tool, a lot of it has to be customized. Navigation can be simplified with fewer clicks. There can be in-app guidance for smoother onboarding for new members on the tool.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workfront automates our process by creating request queues for support tickets, assigning priorities, and ensuring quick customer responses. Its centralized management organizes work effectively, and detailed reporting enhances productivity and visibility.

 ### 21. Streamlined Project Management with Intuitive Features

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meena F. | Communications Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I like how Workfront is fairly straightforward. I appreciate being able to communicate with lots of people at the same time without any additional work. The feature where I can submit something for brand review just by clicking a button and receive responses easily makes things a lot quicker, which I find very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

I think something that doesn't work as well in Workfront is that sometimes it can be difficult to use and to understand. I think the interface can sometimes be not very user-friendly and can not be intuitive.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workfront to streamline communication, putting everything in one place for reviews. It allows me to submit brand reviews quickly, saving time by avoiding multiple submissions and approval processes.

 ### 22. Effective Project Management with Room for UX Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lori D. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

The UI for web content audits is confusing to build out and understand. The low code, now code design is great but takes a lot of in depth knowledge of the tool to get the hang of.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping the task creation, and lifecycle of new reports and form updates for our website in one system that is easy to track for auditability and time management as a team

I like Workfront for its customization capabilities, specifically how we can build out complex workflow templates, key reports, and granular resourcing tailored to our specific needs.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

Automation is a separate feature and the proofing tool is not very collaborative. Initial setup was challenging and complex. We used an integration partner, and it went poorly; they made everything so much more complex than it needed to be.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I like that Workfront keeps everything together and gives better visibility across projects. It helps a lot with tracking tasks, owners, deadlines, and approvals, especially when multiple people or teams are involved. It makes things feel less scattered and more structured, which is useful in busy work environments.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

It can be kind of hard to learn in the beginning and sometimes feels more complicated than it needs to be. A few parts of it are not super intuitive, and simple updates can take longer than expected. It works well once you’re in it regularly, but there is definetly a learning curve.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It mainly helps solve the problem of work being all over the place. Without something like Workfront, updates sit in email, tasks are in different docs, and it gets hard to know what is actually on track or who owns what. Workfront gives more structure and visibility, which helps a lot with managing projects across diff teams. The biggest benefit for me is having one place to check status, deadlines, approvals, and responsibilities instead of chasing people down. It doesn’t fix everything, but it defintely makes project tracking and coordination easier.

I enjoy Workfront for its ability to provide a consolidated single pane of glass. It really helps me view marketing campaigns and understand where they are in the process.

 ### 48. Steep Learning Curve, But Enhances Project Transparency

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lee Anne M.

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I like using Workfront because it allows the use of Fusion to automate repetitive tasks. This feature is really helpful as it helps customize the level of automation needed for projects, which is a big time saver and streamlines my workflow.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

You need someone with Fusion experience to help navigate the Fusion automation. The learning curve is really steep to get very good at Workfront, although it's easy for a novice to do basic tasks. The initial setup was very difficult due to its complexity, requiring us to hire an external consulting team and experts full time, taking six months to a year to have our first project pilot. We really loved the Workfront Outlook integration, but that has been deprecated.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workfront to manage the workflow, which increases transparency and helps the team know where projects are at all times. This self-service access prevents the need to track down details on our own.

I like Workfront's easy interface and prompting, which makes it simple to direct and ask for tasks with clear action items. The initial setup was straightforward and easy, which was a relief.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

I find the need for more white space on the single view screen to be an issue. Also, categorizing content between marketing and brand inputs and outputs could be improved.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workfront for generating project briefs for creative marketing work. It solves the problem of organizing thoughts, pulling in correct brand inputs, and aligning data inputs.
