Workday's UI makes it easy to navigate for basic users. I've always been able to get info quickly and without major hurdles while I navigate the day, espercially in a call center role doing customer service. Performance of the product is quick, there aren't times where it lags, at least not often. It can interlink with other applications intergrated by the company, although primarily I would use it for lesson learning plans set up by management or inputting hours, confirming benefits. For pricing/ROI I am unfamiliar but various companies use it at large scale so I imagine it to be cost-effective once enough users are planned and integrated. The system has effective onboarding for new users allowing them to tab through products as needed, immediately finding the information management wants them to so they can continue their day. I did not touch Artifical Intelligence features often but they were not so invasive as to be bothersome so it's a net positive if a user wishes to access them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Workday HCM? Overall the product is perfectly usable but there could always be improvements to guiding users. I would like if sections were able to be color-coded by default as a setting to further distinguish them, as an example. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Workday HCM solving and how is that benefiting you? The product has saved time for me in checking my payrolls, detemining my hours worked or shifts, and improved my work flow in needing to check regarding payments less. The most helpful thing about HCM is that it serves as a unified platform for human resource management, attendance tracking, and payroll recording, which makes the overall process much smoother. The user interface is Intuitive and performing actions are smoother with low latency the ability to integrate different components. And the feature of AI Is really handy for performing the employee life cycle I believe Roi on the product is really good. The support team does a fantastic job. Workday HCM covers everything for our employee management as well as our full-cycle recruitment, making it all-encompassing. Workday HCM has become a central part of how we manage HR tasks, and the biggest value for me is how much it brings everything into one place. I regularly use it for employee records, time off requests, performance reviews, reporting, and organizational visibility, and having all of that connected in one system makes day-to-day HR work much more efficient. One of the most useful features is the self-service functionality. Employees can update personal information, request time off, view pay details, and access important HR information without needing to contact HR for every small request. This has reduced repetitive administrative work and helped employees get answers faster. The reporting and analytics tools are also very valuable. Instead of pulling information from multiple spreadsheets or systems, Workday makes it easier to generate reports on headcount, compensation, turnover, performance, and other workforce data. This has improved decision-making because managers and HR teams can work from more accurate, up-to-date information. I also appreciate the workflow automation. Approvals for job changes, time off, and other HR processes move through the right people automatically, which helps prevent delays and keeps everything documented. An unexpected benefit has been the improved consistency across teams—everyone follows the same processes, and there is better visibility into where requests stand. The talent management tool is also very helpful as it allows us to see the capabilities of talent and how it matches what we need when hiring. I also find working with customer service for HCM enjoyable, as it's much easier to work with, and the functionalities are a lot easier too. My manager found the initial setup super easy, and we had hands-on experience that helped us learn quickly.
