"Flexible, Intuitive, and Integrates Seamlessly with Great Support"
4/5
What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?

I used Workday Adaptive Planning in my previous role. I like the flexibility it offers, both for adapting to our current business scenarios and for adjusting as those scenarios change. I also appreciate how easily it integrates with our other systems. On top of that, I really like the reports and the dashboards that are available. The pricing is not the cheapest but I think the ROI is quite good for the price we pay. The customer support is great and incidents and issuers are quickly resolved. The interface is intuitive and user friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?

At times, the application felt slow and took a long time to respond. Reports and dashboards could also be sluggish to generate and load, particularly when working with a high volume of data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really like how easy Workday Adaptive Planning is to use. It's very user-friendly, making it simple to manage, show results, and enter data. I only need to manually enter the information, and then it helps in automatically showing the information across the company. I appreciate that I don't need to use many different tools anymore; just this one tool does it all, simplifying communication all over the company. The initial setup was really easy too, and after some training, the tool's friendly interface made it quick to get started. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"AI-Powered Efficiency with Powerful Integration"
4/5
What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?

I like how well Workday Adaptive Planning integrates with CRM and ERP and other systems. The AI features are really cool, and it works really well, letting me run what-if scenarios without having to implement them. It makes it easier to handle all my data, especially with the AI and memory features for forecasting, modeling, and scenario planning. The software does everything I need it to do and gives me quick responses. I don't need to double-check my work because it already remembers stuff I've inputted in the past. It's one of my better programs that I've worked with and I feel it helps consolidate data as we grow and manage reporting to higher-ups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?

When I first started using Workday Adaptive Planning, the configuration was kind of intimidating, and I didn't know where things were. I had to learn how to use certain features, and my manager had to guide me on how to use the software best and where to find things. Some of the reporting features needed tweaking to get the data we needed. Overall, I found the initial setup a bit intimidating and had to get used to it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable and Easy to Use, but the Interface and Front-End Need a Refresh"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?

Usability and reliability with big potential for development and innovation in this area also can be easily used by non familiar users and developers . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?

The interface feels outdated, and the overall design looks old. The interaction with the front-end design could also be improved to make things feel more consistent and easier to use. The loading log and cookie usage aren’t always handled well, and I’ve noticed minor mistakes in the calendar and planning features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined forecasting and robust what-if financial modeling"
4/5
What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?

To be honest there are some few key areas which I genuinely like:

1.What stands out most is the flexibility in building complex financial models without relying on rigid, error-prone spreadsheets. The ability to run multiple 'what-if' scenarios in real time has dramatically sped up our forecasting cycles and made budget planning across departments significantly smoother.

2. I appreciate how well it consolidates data across our organization into a single source of truth. Integrating data directly from our ERP and HR systems eliminates manual data entry, making reporting far more accurate and allowing our FP&A team to focus on strategic analysis rather than fixing formula errors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?

Some key findings that I have observed:

1.The learning curve for advanced modeling and formula syntax can be quite steep for non-technical users. While day-to-day data entry is straightforward, setting up custom rules and administration often requires specialized training or consulting support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable and Simple Planning tool"
4/5
What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?

It makes budgeting and forecasting much easier than using spreadsheets. The interface is user-friendly, and it’s simple to create reports, update plans, and keep everything current without a lot of extra effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?

The biggest drawback for me is that parts of the interface can feel a bit confusing at first, and it takes some time to get comfortable with it. Setting up integrations and building more complex models isn’t always straightforward, and the platform can also feel slow when you’re working with large datasets. I’d also like to see more built-in AI features, along with a lower price point that’s more accessible for smaller teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Nothing specific to mention here. I don’t have enough experience with it yet to offer feedback that would be genuinely useful or clearly positive, so I don’t have much to share at this time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Facilitates Team Planning, Needs Better Speed"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?

I use Workday Adaptive Planning to plan my work week, which helps me do my work efficiently. The keyword of prioritization is crucial for me, as it helps me prioritize tasks based on their importance and time sensitivity. The most intriguing feature for me is being able to know when teammates are on leave. This allows me to understand when my team might need more of my support, ensuring that releases and tasks are better coordinated when team members are available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?

I feel that there's a certain lag when you run any function in Workday Adaptive Planning. It's not just limited to this tool but happens with Workday in general. If the response time could be improved, it would lead to greater satisfaction for more users. Also, initially, the setup felt a bit complex, especially for someone who hasn't used a similar system before. The technology feels heavy at first, but over time, you get accustomed to it. However, the response time still feels itchy sometimes, taking too long to load, which could be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
