It would be easier if I could quickly rearrange things without going through more than one setting. Also, the initial setup wasn’t super quick or very easy. I've had a positive experience using Workday Adaptive Planning for budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. The platform makes it much easier to collaborate across teams, build dynamic models, and update forecasts as business conditions change. Its integration with other systems helps reduce manual data entry and improves the accuracy of financial planning. One of its biggest strengths is its flexibility, handling complex planning scenarios while providing intuitive reporting and dashboard capabilities. Scenario planning and what-if analysis are particularly valuable for supporting strategic decision-making. I would recommend it for organizations looking for a scalable and robust enterprise planning solution. It helps streamline planning, forecasting, and performance management. The ability to build models and create advanced reports is valuable because it allows me to tailor planning and analyses to our organization's specific needs, quickly model different business scenarios, evaluate the financial impact of potential decisions, and provide leadership with accurate data-driven insights. The biggest learning curve was understanding how to build models that accurately reflected our organization's planning processes and business rules. It has really helped us to streamline our processes and get everyone on the same page. We are not as siloed as we were before and Workday has gone a long way in that area. I find there are limitations with ERP integrations and faced product gaps, like needing to manually input budgets.
