Workbench FSM is free field service management software for home service contractors — HVAC, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, cleaning, pest control, and similar trades. There's no subscription and no per-seat pricing: every technician, dispatcher, and office admin gets full access at no cost. Workbench FSM is funded by its built-in payment processing, at a flat 2.9% + $0.30 per card transaction and 0.75% per ACH transfer, with no separate card-present rate and no monthly minimum. The platform covers the full job lifecycle in one system. Quotes support optional line items, discounts, deposits, and e-signature approval. Invoices accept card and ACH payment, run on recurring schedules, and send automatic reminders. Scheduling and dispatch use drag-and-drop assignment with recurring visits and technician filtering.
