The method for allocating resources to each task within a project is not very intuitive and we have had to create different team roles, with the same person utilised at a different percentage to show how their time will be spent over the duration of the project. It would be easier to allocate a person directly to tasks, with an appropriate percentage of their time, rather than filling out the project roles tab.

i-nexus provides my group with the necessary framework that enables us to consolidate all of our project data into what we call our single source of truth. Having a single source of truth enables us to manage all of our projects under a single umbrella aligned to our organisational goals and objectives to provide more efficient decision-making on our portfolio, programs, and projects. We can identify and evaluate potential projects, approve future projects, assign resources to each project, and efficiently track progress via the dashboard and reporting tool. As a Program/Project Manager, the ability to execute and track complex prorgam in a digital tool is now a pre-requisite. i-nexus allows me to organise my portfolios of work, programs, projects and key performance indicator in a logical way giving me a complete line of sight from the strategic objective down to the actuons performed by my project team members. i-nexus can also help me with strategy deployment and cascade using a virtual x-matrix and the Hoshin Kanri methodology. This makes for a very comprehensive business platform and so wherever I go as a business consultant, I always suggest my clients to consider using i-nexus ASAP! I cannot really think of anything I dislike... The only thing I can remember disliking is having to learn where to click and how to do certain advanced things like adding users or modifying screen views.
