Most workshop software is built for the office. Workbay is built for the bay too. Mechanics run inspections on an iPad or phone with their gloves on. Pass and fail are big targets, they only see the right sheet for the vehicle in front of them, and nothing stops when the signal drops. A failed check goes onto the vehicle's record as a defect, and the signed sheet is filed on the job as a PDF. The office follows every job as it moves, from a phone or a browser, so nobody has to walk out to the yard to ask how it's going. Getting paid is just as quick. Estimates go out by email and come back approved. Invoices get the VAT right on every line, including Ireland's reduced rate on repairs and the standard rate on tyres, and late ones are chased automatically. On Premium and Pro, customers can tap their card on your phone, and the money goes straight into your own Stripe account. Workbay is made for car garages, HGV workshops, body shops and mobile mechanics in Ireland and the UK, with the pre-NCT, pre-CVRT, pre-MOT and DVSA sheets they use every day. Plans start at €99 + VAT (£79) a month, and you can try it free for 14 days with no card needed.
