Organized file naming and campagin structure. Primarly replaces communication through email, slack, other channels while keeping conversation threads in individual jobs. Resource management has been a challenge. With job and task dates always fluid, time consuming keeping all tasks date current. Visually one can see it was designed by programmers. Workamajig works well. We understand it is designed to accommodate a variety of clientele, but for a small agency, having everything in one place has served us well. Sales, Project Management, Timer Functions (our producers love this feature), Billing and Accounting, it is the entire life cycle of a project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Workamajig? Workamajig can help to scale down for a smaller agency and help create some customization. There is a lot the program can do, but not always needed for a smaller scale. Reports can be difficult to create, and when thinking of FP&A, it is lacking, especially when looking at clients and projects holistically. Additionally, our employees feel Workamajig is behind on the interface for project schedules and project management. There are systems like Monday or Asana that are light-years ahead. Lastly, we get complaints from our producers about the timer function being challenging to use. They'd wish it to be easier. For example, fewer windows for confirming/editing time, not erasing time when you change the date on a timer, and having new timers add to existing time entries vs. creating a new line. It handles a wide range of functions for our agency so we could eliminate other software needs and consolidate nearly all of our business functions into Workamajig. Fortunately, they recently created a tighter partnership with one media platform which allows for more automated connections, but it's not yet fully reliable. It's helped us consolidate all of our critical business information into one place, ensuring we're more efficient and effective in everything we do. My Company uses Workamajig as only a finance tool, but our system works great in tracking our client campaigns , projects and employee time spent to budget, as an Account Executive it helps me to manage teh budgets very well.
