**Reviewed by:** Rafal S. | Front End Developer and Graphic Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2025

**What do you like best about WordPress.org?**

WordPress is a great tool to build your websites. it took a while to understand how it works along with installed plug-ins and woocommerce. There many page builders to make it even better, especially for the clients so they have ful control of their website. There are tons of plug ins and themes on the market to get your website up and running fast without complicated coding and easily integrated and implemented. All my clients use Divi and Elementor page builders. they are easy to use once you get around it. There are tons of tutorials and great support from Divi folks and my pressable wordpress host. We use wordpress weekly and the more you use, the more comfortable you'll get.

**What do you dislike about WordPress.org?**

WordPress lacks full support, especially where there are trouble some plug ins involved, they tend to blame one another instead of working together to solve the conflict. So in this case you hire a second set of eyes developer to troubleshoot. It's a very strong community support, but there is almost no official one customer support.
WordPress requires constant monitoring and updates to plug ins and themes due to WordPress, theme, PhP updates.
Some parts do require complicated coding for full compatibility and site security and speed. Visual builders can sometimes be very slow to update pages.
You have to spend time to research what plug ins are good and are updated frequently that work well with your site without conflicts.

**What problems is WordPress.org solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emmanuel B. | Product Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2025

**What do you like best about WordPress.org?**

The best thing WP can offer is open source, followed by total customization and control. You'll have access to many interesting plugins where you can manage your site with total freedom. The best thing is that they have a huge community of developers, which reduces costs.

**What do you dislike about WordPress.org?**

From my opinion there are some weaknesses that I can list: security issues, performance if you're not able to optimize the product and too much dependence on third-party plugins. This can cause problems for smaller products without much technological infrastructure.

**What problems is WordPress.org solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing and working on large-scale content with dozens of writers is easier with WP, not to mention that the vast majority of journalists are used to the platform.

  ### 47. Great for Blogs, Hands-Off Agencies and Advanced Users

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Evan S. | Marketing Manager, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2024

**What do you like best about WordPress.org?**

WordPress does blogs well; it is cost-effective and relatively user-friendly. Agencies have built automation to instantly build a basic website for their clients with little to no effort, and advanced users, such as the Canadian Grand Prix of Formula 1, have made highly customized websites that look good. It's easy to integrate other software such as Givecloud, Keela, Mailchimp or other products that allow you to embed code into different websites and Wordpress supports the Head code and page code necessary for each.

**What do you dislike about WordPress.org?**

WordPress requires constant monitoring for plugin updates and compatibility and is much harder to design than other options. I've used WordPress frequently, and it is usually more time-consuming to do an identical task than in other builders. This is not necessarily Wordpress's fault but the Plugin or Builder that is being nailed onto Wordpress after the fact.

**What problems is WordPress.org solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Provides a website for clients to host content.

  ### 48. A great open-source, feature filled CMS with lots of plugins available

**What do you like best about WordPress.org?**

Wordpress is very flexible, has 1,000's of plugins available and integrates with a lot of other systems. It's very easy to setup and use.

**What do you dislike about WordPress.org?**

Due to it's popularity it's prone to attackers trying to exploit vulnerabilities.

**What problems is WordPress.org solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CMS - Giving end users the ability to alter content in a non technical way.

  ### 49. Powerful and fully customizable.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Khushi D. | Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2025

**What do you like best about WordPress.org?**

The huge library of plugins and Themes is my favorite part. It provides complete control over website. No platform restrictions, No hidden rules makes it complete.

**What do you dislike about WordPress.org?**

Because its so popular, sites can be frequent become an hacking targets. so it needs an extra security.

**What problems is WordPress.org solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before wordpress customizing a website required expensive developers. Now i can adjust themes plugins and layout myself saving both time and money.

  ### 50. Flexible, powerful and fully customizable platform.

The best about wordpress.org is that it gives full control over website/ blogs with wide range of themes and plugins. I can customise everything, add SEO tools, Ecommerce features and more.

**What do you dislike about WordPress.org?**

Managing updates, security and backup requires extra efforts.

It gives me the freedom to build and fully control my website without platform limitations. it solves the problem of customization, scalability and ownership as we can add new features instantly.
