## WordPress.com Reviews
 ### 1. Great product for building websites

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** tanzeem a. | Principal data scientist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2022

**What do you like best about WordPress.com?**

There are a lot of resources available when building a site on wordpress. This makes it easy to circumvent any issues or challenges faced during the development

**What do you dislike about WordPress.com?**

Some of the functionalities for e-commerce are not as advanced as other platforms. The woo-commerce part of it still needs certain features which need not be bought off the store.

**Recommendations to others considering WordPress.com:**

It is a great product if you are good at some level of development. Of course, you can build decent products with the available stack but the advanced features would need advanced skills to setup.

**What problems is WordPress.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have built multiple sites on WordPress including eCommerce sites, static and dynamic websites for our own needs and other businesses. Blogging is a huge area where were began and grew from

 ### 2. Great CMS product for website development

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Travis B. | Admin, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2021

**What do you like best about WordPress.com?**

It's easy to create a website from start to finish, including free plugins and themes. I like using site development tools like Elementor with Wordpress.

**What do you dislike about WordPress.com?**

I'm not crazy about having to add plugins for services that should be automatically included in a CMS for website development, like SEO or spam-detection. Stuff like that should automatically be part of a CMS.

**Recommendations to others considering WordPress.com:**

If you've used other CMS to build your websites, this should be pretty easy for you. If you haven't, just go online to search for help with installing the CMS, templates, or plugins you may need and you will find plenty of help and information.

**What problems is WordPress.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating websites on the fly compared with creating a website by hand, using html, is the primary benefit when using WordPress. The ease of creating a site complete with a template, images, and pages, is fantastic.

 ### 3. The User interface is not intuitive

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dani H. | Lead Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 26, 2022

**What do you like best about WordPress.com?**

Wordpress has great functionality for a large business and customization

**What do you dislike about WordPress.com?**

The interface is dated and difficult to use. I prefer other CMS sites with drag and drop interfaces that resemble a graphic editing software.

**What problems is WordPress.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Running a large website my team inherited with clunky coding. Designing pages is almost impossible within the customized template I'm using. The only benefit is that the text and images are easy to change.

 ### 4. Easy website builder

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Avijit M. | iOS Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2022

**What do you like best about WordPress.com?**

WordPress is best for beginners who do not have any experience in programming. Then also, they can build websites easily. Even my first website is built with WordPress. It is a very easy-to-understand and easy-to-use framework. If you want to make a webpage faster, this is the best option.

**What do you dislike about WordPress.com?**

I can surely tell that WordPress is not for those who want to learn a programming language. And build a full website using programming. This word press will not help you. It is help full only if you want to make a blog or personal website but do not want to expertise with programming; then only WordPress will be best; otherwise, not.

**What problems is WordPress.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As said on the like and dislike part in short, WordPress is best who are writing a food blog, travel blog, design personal photo frame. The benefit is that you can make a webpage in a short period. The problem is WordPress is not more flexible. I know there are many plugins available, but you can not customize as you want.

WordPress is the CMS we use for our Website and will be the CMS as we go through a redesign.

 ### 7. Meets general website needs

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2022

**What do you like best about WordPress.com?**

I absolutely love the preview feature before fully submitting your changes. That way I can see how everything looks before I do anything drastic to the website.

**What do you dislike about WordPress.com?**

It can be a bit difficult to navigate at first, especially if you have never touched a website creation platform. It did get easier to use other time but it's a lot to work with initially.

**What problems is WordPress.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's trying to solve a connectivity issue I was facing which is a problem for me since that means no one can access the website. Thankfully they are quick to fix the issue.

 ### 8. Great CMS Platform(Wordpress)

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rahul C. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 14, 2022

**What do you like best about WordPress.com?**

The main thing that i like is we can create websites without knowing how to code. A non technical person can also maintain website easily. Easy to install and nice functionality.

**What do you dislike about WordPress.com?**

What i dislike is integrations of plugins. Some of plugins are outdated and some of plugins have big size which slow down websites.

**What problems is WordPress.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm able to create small websites in just few hours and some other big content websites are easy to create in wordpress. My blog is also build in wordpress.

 ### 9. Decent but a bit confusing

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 10, 2022

**What do you like best about WordPress.com?**

I like that WordPress has things laid out in a way that you can label and categorize different sections of the website/blog/etc so you know what you're looking for when you go to edit or update something. It's easy to scroll down to the section you want to make changes to and edit from there, rather than scrolling through a ton of HTML or something. It definitely makes things easier.

**What do you dislike about WordPress.com?**

I find WordPress a little confusing when first starting out. Once you get the hang of it, it's easy to use, but if you're a beginner or are used to a different platform, it can be a little confusing when you're first setting things up. That's really the one downside I discovered when I first started using WordPress. I had to find some guides to help figure things out, because I honestly had no idea what I was doing.

**Recommendations to others considering WordPress.com:**

I would recommend knowing how you want to lay out your website beforehand and set things up. Maybe storyboard different sections so you know where you want things to go. Otherwise, WordPress may be a little confusing to start out with. And if you want to host a blog, I, personally, would recommend a different website. But WordPress is good for setting up a basic website.

**What problems is WordPress.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being an admin for a website that makes it easy for both authors and bloggers to find open book tours, signups for putting a book on tour, and other resources that will benefit authors especially. WordPress helps lay out the site so everything is easy to navigate and find. It's just the whole setting things up thing that takes a bit to figure out.

 ### 10. Easy website building and blog management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christian N. | Director of Marketing and Social Media, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2021

**What do you like best about WordPress.com?**

The publishing tools and interface are very nice to navigate, plenty of options for api integrations and plugins to use as an option, and easy to edit posts and view analytics. We built our business blog with this service and it was great to use and publish from to our social media pages. The text formatting options were awesome for blog writing and publishing. There are tons of publishing capabilities too from scheduling to being able to set featured images, tags, preview text, and you can even link your site's social media pages and have the option to publish your posts there at the same time they go live on wordpress.

**What do you dislike about WordPress.com?**

Since we are on a customized platform, some of the integrations did not perfectly connect, but for the most part, everything worked well. Sometimes the dashboard and reporting navigation was confusing. Since our business is on a custom platform, some of the functionality we needed had to be added as plugins, some of which cost money. I also disliked that there were 2 different dashboards between the Wordpress main dashboard and the Wordpress business admin when it feels like there should be one consolidated dashboard with all of the options in the sidebar, depending on your version subscription level.

**Recommendations to others considering WordPress.com:**

If you need to build a blog presence or a website for your eCommerce platform, this is definitely a service to check out. It doesn't require a person to know everything about coding to be able to build some very nice-looking pages. If you are considering a blog for your business or website, this is the best software I've used.

**What problems is WordPress.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've been able to produce content for our website faster than before. This allowed us to build a blog archive for Reminderband and address various topics and customer success stories and promotions over the years. I was also able to get valuable analytics with insights about user sessions, traffic, and other stats about each of my published Wordpress pages. It also made publishing our Wordpress blog much easier than it had been prior to using Wordpress.

 ### 11. Very useful for non programmers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2022

**What do you like best about WordPress.com?**

We can create a website without coding a single line.

**What do you dislike about WordPress.com?**

Websites created in wordpress contain bugs.

While websites are essential for any online business to stand out from the crowd, Wordpress makes it easier for non-programmers to create a good website for free.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chad F. | Instructional Technology Coach, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2022

**What do you like best about WordPress.com?**

The options are crazy with what you can do and create in Wordpress. The addons that can be used also give the service more functionality than other options available.

**What do you dislike about WordPress.com?**

The learning curve is pretty steep in trying to set up your page or pages initially. Without some knowledge of what you're trying to do it would be very easy to get stuck and not know where to begin.

**What problems is WordPress.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a way to create a blog that would provide an easy way for subscribers to receive updates as well as social media integration. Both of these features are present as well as giving us a web presence.

For beginner it is helpful as it has different templates which helps to build the sites and it has 1000 of options to make your site according without knowing much languages

 ### 16. WordPress review-2021

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ngala E. | Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2021

**What do you like best about WordPress.com?**

In my point of view, WordPress stands out to be the best content management system by far. I have created 3 websites using this tool( with the 3rd website still under development). My experience working with it was quite stress-free.

-It's easy to use with a lot of helpful tips even if you're completely a novice.
-With the WordPress.org forum, I was able to get quality endorsements directly from experts on my first attempt to design a website, and that which I really appreciated.

-Has a ton of helpful & insightful tips to help bloggers produce more readable, valuable, and reliable blog posts.
I am blazed with the type of plugins the Wp team themselves have made available. The majority of these plugins are not only free but highly effective.

- it's just the perfect software to make any website of your dreams become reality. I truly appreciate the efforts and hard work put together to make this tool, the world's leading CMS software.

**What do you dislike about WordPress.com?**

There are weird issues like, constant conflicts between some plugins- which in my own POV, can be difficult for users to manage at times. I believe, the WP team should thoroughly study third-party plugins before further integrations. It's a case I had, going between AMP and Elementor.

There are some nuisance ads that keep showing in my admin dashboard, and that is quite disturbing for me.

**Recommendations to others considering WordPress.com:**

It's a very good tool to help you quickly slam any website of your choice. I highly recommend using it.

**What problems is WordPress.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helped me understand how web designing works and had me created up to three(3) business websites. For me, this is an achievement already and I'm really proud of it. Considering the amount of money involved in hiring web designers, WordPress helped me to save a lot more.

 ### 17. Easy to use but you need basic knowledge when using it

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Live F. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2022

**What do you like best about WordPress.com?**

I love the ease of use with it. I do have a little background in designing websites but it is basic and easy to use. There are also a ton of features to make your website unique.

**What do you dislike about WordPress.com?**

I don't like how many options there are, I wish there were more focused recommendations that would help me to see what is best practice for my business and niche.

**What problems is WordPress.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Shopify for one of my businesses that sells products and I use Wordpress for my business that is geared towards a service based business. Wordpress is perfect if you are not selling products in my opinion.

 ### 18. A great way to get started with WP quickly

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan P. | Web Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 27, 2021

**What do you like best about WordPress.com?**

It has most of the features as the self-hosted version of WordPress. The signup process is simple and only takes a few minutes or so to complete. The plans are priced relatively low for WP-based hosting plans. I can use loads of themes with WordPress.com that can be edited with CSS and other coding languages. There are useful management features that make it easy to make sweeping changes with just a few mouse clicks.

**What do you dislike about WordPress.com?**

It's not as flexible as the self-hosted version of WordPress. I can't easily port complete websites or even just themes. Attempting to port will often result in broken files or folders.

**What problems is WordPress.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use WordPress.com as a web design and content management system for several of our clients' websites. We can design and publish websites relatively quickly. We can use themes we've previously designed or purchased through an online marketplace. The loading times are often satisfactory for the number of visitors each website receives. Editing, approvals and other aspects of the website management process are simplified with WordPress.com's automated features.

 ### 19. Great and versatile CMS for blogger

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elias G. | Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 27, 2021

**What do you like best about WordPress.com?**

I like WordPress because it is the best way to create a website, being the most popular CMS at the moment because it is free but very versatile, I like that thanks to that popularity I can find an infinity of support material and tutorials for better use of the software. It is a straightforward system to implement and has a series of beneficial topics and add-ons, the appearance of the software is gorgeous and it is easy to understand it to have a better experience at the time of the edition, download the topics is easy and it is straightforward to install it, also that at the level of appearance almost ready to customize them as little as possible.

**What do you dislike about WordPress.com?**

All the format and content of WordPress is basic but very complete and has not presented any flaws since I used it.

**Recommendations to others considering WordPress.com:**

I recommend this software to create any website.

**What problems is WordPress.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a very versatile software, I liked the variety of elements and tools, the edition is excellent, I liked it because it is very intuitive, that is good for beginners and to improve quickly with software, the possibility of getting topics for free is a decisive aspect.

 ### 20. The best CMS by far!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fernando S. | Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2021

**What do you like best about WordPress.com?**

Very useful tools can be integrated for UX, UI, and, the most important thing...connect with the world

**What do you dislike about WordPress.com?**

You need a course to use it effectively, but the truth is that once you understand it nothing can't stop you!

**Recommendations to others considering WordPress.com:**

You will need to get a course if you want to unleash the power of it!

Don't think that you are going to do a pro website for free, you will need to pay for some plugins (such as Yoast Premium, Gravity Forms...) if you want a very professional website

After many trials, the best hosting for it is SiteGround

**What problems is WordPress.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Create amazing websites in-house to manage them without knowing to code and saving a lot of time and money

 ### 21. Best option for website building till date

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Edirin E. | Author and Publisher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2022

**What do you like best about WordPress.com?**

Ease of use, versatility and integration, plus the powerful plugins.

**What do you dislike about WordPress.com?**

It can be a bit complicated to navigate if one is not skilled in tech

**What problems is WordPress.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

More integrations and actually useful pluggins

 ### 22. Wordpress is good, but not as great as others.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hunter B. | Technology Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2021

**What do you like best about WordPress.com?**

I like WordPress because it is used by virtually everyone out there on the internet for web publishing. The interface is user-friendly to an extent. Virtually anyone can hit the ground running with it.

**What do you dislike about WordPress.com?**

It quickly turns into something that someone with more of a web developer type of mind should be doing. It is complicated to find appropriate templates, and this is frustrating if you want to publish something professional quickly. Other sites like Wix are much more user-friendly.

**Recommendations to others considering WordPress.com:**

I would shop around. Wix and Weebly offer much better drag and drop solutions for web publishing. WordPress is if you want to spend a lot of time figuring out how to be a web programmer.

**What problems is WordPress.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps solve the problem of publishing a webpage that works well with other plugins. It does force me to learn more on the development side of things.

 ### 23. Easy to use and make beautiful website

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Om Prakash M. | Odoo Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2022

**What do you like best about WordPress.com?**

A lot of free templates are available for making a beautiful website. Easy to connect plugin for e-commerce and payment gateway. No need to learn deep knowledge of the core language.

**What do you dislike about WordPress.com?**

It is limited customization from the user interface. If you want to change the layout based on your business you must need knowledge of the core PHP language. Sometimes plugins are not supported.

**What problems is WordPress.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I make a website in WordPress and solved the problem of the contact form. There is an issue for not showing proper layout and details of information for the contact person.

 ### 24. A Pleasing, refreshing and a creative blogging platform.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** SYED SALIK A. | Senior Turbocompressors Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2021

**What do you like best about WordPress.com?**

It lets one speak his heart out without having any fear of being censored. It's like a modern day essential to the liberal and free world press.

**What do you dislike about WordPress.com?**

The outlook of the app/website could be improved by continuous evolution. It's like still the WordPress is using the same old GUI in the current 2020s.

**Recommendations to others considering WordPress.com:**

Take your time and don't rush at things. You will probably take time in building an audience but once you do that, it's all good and exciting.

**What problems is WordPress.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the major thing I have been doing via WordPress is having my voice heard through the stroke of my pen to my audience. This has been very useful in having a constructive debate in the society.

 ### 25. WordPress website builder

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rishav J. | Associate Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 05, 2022

**What do you like best about WordPress.com?**

The best thing about WordPress is that is free and anyone with very little understanding of how to build a website can use the custom templates to build a website according to their requirements.

**What do you dislike about WordPress.com?**

The website may break anytime due to some technical reason. The search engine optimization for the Website built using it is really poor . Also it takes more time to load a page then normal.

**What problems is WordPress.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There are many themes to select from which is really helpful for a beginner. The plugins provide different functionality that can be used to enhance the websites performance.

 ### 26. I am using wordpress cms from last 6 years very easy to use less bugs, and easy to handle, 8 stars.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ali D. | Head of Social Media, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2022

**What do you like best about WordPress.com?**

Wordpress easy interface and best coding console, most of plugins on wordpress are free to use and avaible only just one click to install, best themes available.

**What do you dislike about WordPress.com?**

I think so there is nothing i dislike in wordpress cms at this time because i never had a single bug or problem in wordpress in my career experience, but add some new feature make more better.

**What problems is WordPress.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am not a developer and i know less about coding , now due to wordpress cms anyone can build business or creator website easily with less experience required. Amazing replacement for coding.

 ### 27. Switched To WordPress was a Success

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carissa L. | Marketing, PR, Events Leader, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2022

**What do you like best about WordPress.com?**

WordPress gives a lot more flexibility for designing your site exactly how you want it to look vs template-based sites like Squarespace.

**What do you dislike about WordPress.com?**

If you are a beginner, you definitely need help from a web developer. We couldn't have set up our site without one. But if you are more than a start up business you will likely need more customization.

**What problems is WordPress.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We noticed our SEO improved greatly with word press resulting in more sales, a big win. It also gave us better control over how our site looked.

 ### 28. The most user friendly CMS

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2022

**What do you like best about WordPress.com?**

I love how people can customize their website using WordPress to execute the look and feel they have been looking for. Plugins allow users to search and implement new widgets, tasks, automation, and more.

**What do you dislike about WordPress.com?**

I think WordPress could do a better job of guiding users (especially new users) through tasks to set up and maintain their websites. A WordPress on CMS trainer would be beneficial for all users. As someone who has experience operating around the CMS there are still many basic things that I'm discovering.

**What problems is WordPress.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

People often approach me asking how to build their website; WordPress solves a lot of their problems with its versatility, from eCommerce to hosting a variety of media types. The use of Elementor has provided so many benefits to the people I interact with.

 ### 29. Wordpress opened a whole new world of webdesign to me

**What do you like best about WordPress.com?**

WordPress helps you create websites.
It has a massive community and ton and tons and a few more tons of free plugins and themes (to give you different looks and functionality).
Simply put it makes making websites possible for those who are not into coding and all that.
Getting something basic up and running is very easy.
To get the most out of what is on offer you have to learn a bit over time, make use of the community and basically just google anything you don't understand (with the phrase WordPress in it).

The price is probably the best feature as there are so many free themes and plugins.
Next is ease of use.

**What do you dislike about WordPress.com?**

Very little to dislike.
Themes and plug ins need to be updated fairly regularly to ensure you have the latest and sometimes support for a favourite plugin may die as time passes but there is always another similar one available somewhere.
I prefer editing in the "old" style since I have been around for a while and the new editor (default) is not as much fun to me. So...guess what...there is a plugin for that. Now I edit like I always have.

**What problems is WordPress.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating and maintaining multiple websites without knowing much about coding and HTML and CSS and all those things.
Also overcoming the various legal requirements re cookies and client data protection> there is a plug in for that as well.

 ### 30. WordPress.com user review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2022

**What do you like best about WordPress.com?**

WordPress is very easy to use for beginners. There is a simple dashboard with different menu options listed in the sidebar. We can easily create posts and pages, customize your website design as per our needs, add navigation menus, and many more.

**What do you dislike about WordPress.com?**

The set up process seems complicated, it's somewhat expensive to maintain, and there is a bit of headache to keep worrying about code, maintenance and the website getting hacked.

**What problems is WordPress.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is being used as a content management system (CMS) to host and build the website. The architecture is being used to customize as per the fit of the business, and also for getting customer feedbacks

 ### 31. Years of User Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katherine J. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2021

**What do you like best about WordPress.com?**

The most helpful feature, or quality of WordPress.com, is how easy it is to make a website look its best. I switched from Blogger in 2015 and have been very happy with the ease of website design, more variety of Themes, and how easy it is to customize a Theme.

I also love how all my 'website tools' are in one place- from WPForms and WPRecipe Maker to using WooCommerce, Jetpack, and Yoast, everything is on one dashboard/home page.

WordPress is my first option whenever I create a website for a client, and I have used WordPress to make several of my website and blogs.

**What do you dislike about WordPress.com?**

If you change fonts for some Themes on WordPress, I have noticed that you can see the website load with the default font and then switch to the customized/chosen font. I don't think that that looks very good for any business website; this has caused me to use whatever default font.

Recently I switched my current theme, and my computer significantly lags when I am trying to write a blog post or page. However, it is unclear if this has more to do with the WordPress.org Theme that I am using or if it is my laptop and software updates.

**Recommendations to others considering WordPress.com:**

In the last year, WordPress.com has made changes to its "Editor(s)," it is a plugin managed by your host (WordPress.com). Sometimes, in the beginning, it is frustrating to use, but my recommendation is to hang in there and try to adapt. But you can always switch it back to your favorite version by activating the plugin/Editor you prefer. Editors that I am referring to are Gutenburg, CoBlocks, and Classic Editor.

**What problems is WordPress.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I started my blog in 2015 with Blogger. I switched to WordPress.com in 2018 and have since been able to grow considerably and earn a modest income through WordPress and the plugins that I can use with my WordPress account. I did not have access to such helpful tools with Blogger and did not have as much say in the creativity aspect of blogging.

 ### 32. Best CMS available in the market.

**Reviewed by:** Rehan K. | Sr. Technical Support Engineer , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about WordPress.com?**

Website deployment without the use of code, themes and page builders are easiest to use along with other integrated plugins for payment seo etc.

**What do you dislike about WordPress.com?**

Sometimes when multiple people are working on the same site there are a lot of issues and it hampers the workflow and needs more time than usual

**What problems is WordPress.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Building website which took a month is reduced to a week including seo and webmaster Integrations as well.

 ### 33. Very easy to use

**Reviewed Date:** July 18, 2022

**What do you like best about WordPress.com?**

Easy plugins and very simple to understand

**What do you dislike about WordPress.com?**

You need to keep saving the edits back and forth or all your edits will be lost

**What problems is WordPress.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy content building and most importantly it suggests SEO building which is the most beneficial

 ### 34. Website builder? Look no further

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David G. | Marketing Campaign Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 26, 2022

**What do you like best about WordPress.com?**

This is an extremely powerful tool that gets the job done. It is easy to use in the backend and, with a good designer, an amazing website can be created and updated for very little commitment.

**What do you dislike about WordPress.com?**

Some of the notifications can become annoying. Everything works properly but it is always best to physically check everything on a phone first, just to make sure.

**What problems is WordPress.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main benefit is the ability for different departments to update their own pagers and content independently.

 ### 35. Wordpress is most popular website builder.

**Reviewed by:** ANGELA W. | Virtual Events Producer & Host, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2021

**What do you like best about WordPress.com?**

I like that Wordpress has so many themes and that it is the most popular website builder.

**What do you dislike about WordPress.com?**

Wordpress is not all that user-friendly and you do need to be computer literate to use it.

**What problems is WordPress.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

More websites use Wordpress than any other website builder as it's very professional.

 ### 36. Creating a website is no longer a complicated task

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angela R. | Marketing Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 03, 2021

**What do you like best about WordPress.com?**

The unimaginable utility and customization features choose it the leaned toward a choice. It's by and large determined to any existent who needs to start a blog or point. WordPress is the herald in CMS and I have been running WordPress on the completeness of my spots and my client's spots as well.

**What do you dislike about WordPress.com?**

I trust it to be top-notch CMS. Further movements to the security fundamentals will give a high ground over the competitors in the petition, but it is a simple platform to use

**Recommendations to others considering WordPress.com:**

Regardless, it will be sensible to figure out the impacts and outs of Word Press effectively enough, If you have some early on money structure slices.

**What problems is WordPress.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Content effort features are not difficult to utilize and offer a lot of conclusiveness, so they have a significant high ground over their competitors regarding being picked in the petition. Making incredible spots is, for the most part, clear by the straightforwardness of effort.

 ### 37. Building an Online Presence (Wordpress did that)

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dr. Shokry E. | Performance Coach, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 03, 2021

**What do you like best about WordPress.com?**

The team members at Wordpress are committed to ensuring that they hear your need, inform you of your options, and often even help you see possibilities you didn't think to ask about. The community (staff and users) is always ready to extend a hand, and WP website build services support you from start to finish.

**What do you dislike about WordPress.com?**

WP is not as beginner-friendly as they advertise. In the age of drag and drop, WP has some catching up to do for its users. If you want to use a pre-fab template, it's relatively straightforward, but it is hard to exercise a vision in the limitation of someone else's frame.

**What problems is WordPress.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In our current age, there is a growing opportunity to create information equity and build solution-generating communities online. The assistance and support we recieved from Wendy and the WP team is the beginning of that shift for our growing community of educators.

 ### 38. Best for beginners

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prahllad M. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2022

**What do you like best about WordPress.com?**

Elementor tool to design website is the best part of WordPress.
It helps user in designing the website using drag and drop method which works seemlessly.
I don't find any competitor in the same level where wordpress is.

**What do you dislike about WordPress.com?**

Hosting a website on WordPress is somewhat difficult as per my experience. But being not from IT background I might be facing this problem. Can't say much about people with IT background.

**What problems is WordPress.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have created multiple website for ourselves and our clients using wordpress and elementor. It helps us in delivering work in deadline and before time as well many times.

 ### 39. Easiest blog platform

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hannah R. | Copywriter & Content Creator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2021

**What do you like best about WordPress.com?**

For the most part, everything is pretty straightforward and user-friendly, and I like Wordpress better than other blog platforms. I'm not paying right now so I use the free themes and there are some good ones that don't look too outdated or clunky, or "free".

**What do you dislike about WordPress.com?**

Really hate the changes to blog composition on both the app and the website with the addition of "blocks". The option of blocks is okay, but I really want the ability to have all of my text in one piece. Blocks are supposedly there to make editing easier, but for me it's just a huge hassle. Becasue I typically create blog posts either on my Notes app in my phone or in Word first, I don't compose them on the actual Wordpress "new post". So when I go to copy and paste my text into a new post and it breaks everything up into a ton of little blocks, it's a huge headache. I haven't found a way to remove blocks since I don't have a ton of time to spend messing with the interface to figure out all the new buttons.

**What problems is WordPress.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Love the options for hosting just a blog rather than a website since we already have a site and only need a place for writings at the moment. It's a great addition to our content and connects seamlessly with our other resources.

 ### 40. great tool for people who have no coding skills !

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muthumali W. | Senior Paid Media Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2022

**What do you like best about WordPress.com?**

WWordPressis a very easy tool. With WordPress, anyone can start a new website or blog! You don't need any coding skills. Th best part is it comes with better functionalities. so it;s really easy for me to use. I love Yoast seo plugin!

**What do you dislike about WordPress.com?**

Unfortunately, there are some very annoying minor bugs. Besides, the portal has poor customer service.

**Recommendations to others considering WordPress.com:**

The portal give you the same and more. It's all in one. Just keep doing what you do.!

**What problems is WordPress.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When it comes to SEO optimization, it's easy to use Yoast SEO plugin. You just need to paste the correct meta tags & descriptions. Easy to learn and use. Easy to access.

 ### 41. Wordpress.com a great all in one tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachid F. | Financial Management Advisor / Conseiller en Gestion Financière, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2021

**What do you like best about WordPress.com?**

It's the first tool I used to learn how to build a website. Frankly, the options offered on their platform are easy to use and intuitive. There is a minimum effort on the part of the user. You want to insert an image, a pragraph, a form or an HTML code, it can be done quickly. The free plugins are hustle free and cover almost every specific needs (email subscriptions, stats...etc)

**What do you dislike about WordPress.com?**

You cannot monetize your website unless you buy a subscription. The tools available are only the one recommended by Wordpress.com.
The subscription prices were too high in my opinion but it's really a worry free package. If you subscribe you have access to quality pugins, hosting and options.

**Recommendations to others considering WordPress.com:**

If you are a new blogger: wordpress.com offers great options (hosting + web design tools). It's pricier than wordpress.org combined with an independent host provider. With wordpress.org, you have far fewer options and need a host (but it's cheaper).
It all depends on your need and budget.

**What problems is WordPress.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have created my first website through wordpress.com. The plugins available for free were elegant, especially the ability for readers to subscribe and receive new posts. By far, wordpress.com is the easiest way to create a website that looks professional with minimal effort.

 ### 42. WordPress es increíble

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maria Isabel T. | Asistente Virtual de Emprendedores, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2022

**What do you like best about WordPress.com?**

It is easy to handle, has many accessible plugins, and the integrations are super easy.

**What do you dislike about WordPress.com?**

I think it's not very intuitive, you have to study it to know all the options.

**What problems is WordPress.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed to have a website that I could design myself, as I am an entrepreneur and don't have much money to invest in someone to make the page for me. It has some wonderful plugins that make the design work much easier.

 ### 43. Robb' s WordPres.com Review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robb A. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2021

**What do you like best about WordPress.com?**

I like that it's free and it gives you more design latitude than Blogger. I like that you can copy and paste from one post to the other without that much difficulty. I also like that it's fairly SEO friendly and Multi-media friendly.

**What do you dislike about WordPress.com?**

I flat-out HATE being semi-forced to use that lame Gutenberg technology. I don't like blocks in a blog. I feel they restrict your ability to format and really slow you down. WordPress.com makes it relatively difficult to switch back and will always automatically default to Gutenberg blocks. For those who want to say; "You just have to get used to it." Why should I have to get used to an inferior technology when their previous technology worked better. I'm not thrilled with the advertising but I recognize they have to make money too.

**What problems is WordPress.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem I'm solving is creating more fresh content that can be used to promote my store and create more SEO for my store in a relatively short amount of time. The benefits I've realized are slightly better search engine position and more focused traffic.

 ### 44. The ONLY website builder I'll ever use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt D. | Copywriter, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2021

**What do you like best about WordPress.com?**

There are so many plugins, and a massive community to help. A ton of themes, it's easy to build custom sites–it's much more flexible and versatile than other products I've used, like Squarespace.

**What do you dislike about WordPress.com?**

It can be complicated, and if something breaks, it can be tough to fix, but the community is always helpful, and my hosting provider helps me with tech stuff 24/7 if I need it, so it's never an issue.

**What problems is WordPress.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can make a website look exactly how I want it to look. I'm also able to use all kinds of custom plugins, design landing pages, create email opt-ins and landing pages–I've built entire businesses using Wordpress.
