I used WordPress to design websites, and I really appreciated how much it simplified the whole process. The platform provides flexible themes, a strong block editor, and responsive design controls that make it easier to build professional-looking layouts quickly. Since hosting, security, and updates are handled automatically, I was able to focus more on design, layout, and the overall user experience rather than spending time on technical maintenance. Although WordPress is a strong platform, performance and load times can sometimes suffer because of platform and plugin bloat. WordPress.com also feels limiting when I need advanced customization or deeper integrations, especially compared with self-hosted WordPress. On top of that, some editing workflows can be confusing, and the lack of low-level control makes it harder to optimize the site or handle more complex design requirements.
