Lots of useful features are available with the free version of the plugin but some of the more advanced features are locked in the Premium version and require a subscription. My site was being repeatedly attacked by bots trying to gain access using brute force and also spam account bots creating fake user accounts. I dont know how but my website got hacked several times and after using wordfence there are pages in author sections i which people have posted spam pages on my website. THERE iS NO 2FA for them. Plus I havent got notified because every time they send me emails it goes to spam and I dont know how people login to my website. I got to know after several days in google console. From Firewall Protection, Malware Scanning, Security Alerts like login attempts, themes and Pugins updates. Wordfence checks the security threats when it comes to website. Centralized Dashboard helps to monitor all traffic trends, any recent attackss, and Security threat information. If you are buying Wordpress themes or plugins from unknown sellers workfence can check through the plugins for any threats, and URL's as well. I can add a range of IP's that brings needless traffic to my website and stop spammy ips to visit my website. Its easy to download a free version or paid version for additional features. Save yourself the headache and find a more responsive and reputible outfit for security. 2FA seems to work out just fine without the hassle of WordFence kicking you out/blocking you from accessing you site. It randomly blocks people in our own marketing department from accessing the website. We are onsite, so the IP isn't changing.
