It pushes my Google Docs straight into WordPress and keeps about 95% of the formatting intact—headings, bold text, links, and images all come through. What used to take me 20 minutes of copy-paste and cleanup per post now takes around 2 minutes to do a quick double-check and hit publish. The live preview helps as well, since I can catch any weird spacing before it goes live. That one feature alone is the main reason I keep using it. **What do you dislike about Word Pigeon?** Two things bug me most: 1. Reliability hiccups— Every few weeks something breaks. Once images stopped uploading, another time the integration died after a WordPress update and I had to reconnect everything. 2. Support is slow— When things do break, it takes 3-4 days to get a real answer. Not great if you’re on a publishing deadline. Also, tables and custom blocks don’t convert well. I just avoid using them in Docs now, but it’s annoying to work around. For simple text posts it’s fine. For anything complex, I still have to fix stuff manually. **What problems is Word Pigeon solving and how is that benefiting you?** Problem it solves: The manual copy-paste grind from Google Docs to WordPress. Before, I’d paste into WordPress and spend 15-20 min per post fixing broken headings, lost images, weird spacing, and stripped links. Multiply that by 4 posts a week and I was wasting 1+ hours just on reformatting. *How it benefits me:* 1. Time back: Now Docs → WordPress takes ∼2 minutes. That’s 4+ hours saved every month that I can spend writing instead of fighting the editor. 2. Fewer errors : Formatting stays consistent. No more forgetting to re-add an image or messing up H2s. Clients stopped sending “hey this looks off” emails. 3. Clean handoff: My writers stay in Google Docs where they’re comfortable, and I don’t have to touch their formatting. Integration with other sites is sometimes causing huge deadline. Need to adapt to modern techniques like API integrations for smoother working.
