The platform is very easy to use and it contains a lot of ready to use templates. I find it very useful in my day-to-day works. To be honest, I don't find anything specific I dislike. If you really want me to point out things I think it can be done better, then it must be the availability of the icons. EdrawMax helps me prepare fantastic diagrams and is much easier to use than other software that I have tried. Learning the program was no issue and implementing was simple. Creating diagrams from scratch is straight forward and starting from a template is a timesaver. I also use AutoCAD and find that I can integrate my diagrams into an AutoCAD drawing very easily. Prebuilt templates and shape libraries make it easy to get started. The number of different industry groups that Wonderware support make it easier than other pure drawing packages to get started with. I love Edraw max for the purpose of drawing electrical schematics for my job. It is a software that is user friendly and very easy to pick up. The use for this software doesn't stop with electrical documentation only because its has a vast number of categories in its arsenal. you can design floor-plans, make a presentation, create a graph, and much more. one of the many benefits with this software is the amount of storage included with their cloud to save your projects. i highly recommend Edraw max! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Wondershare EdrawMax? The only thing i would like to see is an update to the electrical schematic symbols. There needs to be accurate I.E.C and N.E.C symbols. that is the only downside for me personally. I make electrical schematics and blueprints and its frustrating having to make the symbol yourself instead of having the convenience of drag and drop from a list. I've been able to catalog all of our electrical documentation for all the machines we have here at work. Our machines make envelopes and paper notebooks and most of the machines come from the 70's and 80's so all the diagrams and blueprints are on paper and we have one copy. Most of the machine manufacturers have long been closed for various reasons so obtaining another schematic in the event the original is lost or damage is impossible. Edraw max has made my life easier by allowing me to quickly transfer the original paper schematics to digital format such as pdf and im able to have multiple copies stored in the cloud and on my computer. Right after downloading it I was able to start creating my own diagrams without any complication.
