Dedicated product owner from their end who really took ownership and developed a real understanding of the business, and it's needs. Delivery was mostly on time; any slight delays were always due to third party complications. Responses were always above and beyond, even outside of normal working hours. What problems is Wolfpack Digital solving and how is that benefiting you? Wolfpack were brought on board as our development partner in early 2024. The initial scope of the job was to develop a new website with complimentary mobile applications to replace the current outdated platforms. We required improved functionality following UX principles. The task was much larger than your standard build as we use three different third-party platforms to manage the various aspects of our business. Each of these platforms contained huge customer databases that would all need to be merged as well as synching the various logins. Wolfpack made this process seamless hitting every deadline along away as well as keeping us within budget despite a long list of blockers due to third party providers. Once we went live with our new platforms Wolfpack were there to support us and keep everything moving forward. Then we moved our focus to the next phase of our scoped project, gift cards. This was also a difficult undertaking, we needed to merge with an epos system and a fulfilment partner as well as create a customer dashboard for our sites that did not have a compatible epos system. Again, all delivered on time and on budget. App downloads are up 50% so far this year We have experienced a large increase in customer retention and repeat orders. Our online sales have increased between 2-5%, we operate in a very competitive market. Reduced admin work due to the intuitive nature of the platform. There are three things: (1) They know what they are doing. Their technical skills are very good. Fast, lean programming with perfect results. (2) Always on budget. Since we work together they have never broken the budget. (3) Excellent communication. We always know where we stand, have a common understanding of the upcoming tasks and get early alerts on challenges plus their suggestion on possible solutions. - And they are very nice people fun to work with. Digital Wolfpack helped us in a situation, where previous developers have let us down by not properly ending the work they have started. We understand that finishing the work of others (under time pressure) is probably the worst scenario for developers. But the Wolfs have done very well. We feared that any new developer would take advantage of our dire situation. But far from it, Wolfpack supported us in a great way. They took control of the situation immediately, gave us several options how to handle the status quo and guided us to the best solution for us. Genuine care for their people, creating a positive internal culture that translates into motivated, high-quality collaboration. A rare combination of insight, honesty, and empathy, making them feel more like a long-term partner than a typical service provider. What do you dislike about Wolfpack Digital? In my case, there were no real downsides. While the pricing may be higher compared to other regions, the benefits they brought to my project far outweighed the cost. One area where they have already improved as a result of my feedback: While Wolfpack did a great job guiding the process, there’s room for even more support early on—particularly in recognizing the founder's limited background in software development. Recommendations to others considering Wolfpack Digital: If you're building a mobile app, they prefer and truly excel at developing natively. That said, they also have solid in-house expertise with hybrid solutions. If you're new to software development, trust them to guide you through the process step by step, which due to my feedback they have further improved. They’ll take the time to explain everything clearly, helping you feel more confident and informed. They do an excellent job of providing a detailed initial overview that includes the required work packages, estimated hours, and technical requirements. The more clearly you communicate your needs, the more precise and comprehensive their development plan will be. Approach the collaboration with integrity. They certainly will. Not only they lack the technical expertise to deliver a quality project, but their unethical way of doing business by holding a project hostage is completely unacceptable. We were promised a fully functional, fully QA'd web platform according to our very clear specifications. Wolfpack was supposed to provide a turnkey solution for the web development, project management and QA, and we provided them with product management and UX. They failed to deliver most of the epics and user stories that were requested from them. While we regret that we couldn’t find a solution that aligned with your expectations and understand your frustration, we firmly believe that adhering to contractual and payment terms is essential for a successful business relationship. It’s unfortunate that our collaboration has reached this point, especially with a significant unpaid balance from your end for services we’ve provided. Our team depends on timely payments to continue their hard work, as outlined in our mutually agreed-upon contract. Moreover, respectful and constructive communication is vital for any cross-team collaboration. The ongoing threat of negative reviews creates an imbalanced and unfair dynamic, which doesn’t foster success. Aggressive language directed at our team demotivates and disrupts their ability to focus, leading to inefficiencies rather than improvements. Despite our efforts to clarify these issues, a mutual agreement was not reached. As for our team’s dedication, they have gone above and beyond, with experienced developers being allocated on your project and responding to requests even outside of business hours. Additionally, your requests for scope changes and third-party integrations extended the timeline, which is expected in an agile development environment. We believe a win-win approach to conflict resolution could have been achieved through mutual understanding. They collaborate super well but there is some time lost with the back and forth of finding an issue, reporting the issue, working to make sure the issue is understood, then getting it fixed.
