**What do you like best about Wix?**

What I found most useful about Wix was how quickly it allowed structured website creation without needing deep web-development knowledge. For operational and portfolio-related work, I needed a platform where updates, project information, service details, and contact workflows could be managed directly without depending on constant developer support.

The drag-and-drop editor made that process much more manageable. For example, updating project sections, modifying engineering-service descriptions, uploading documentation visuals, and adjusting layouts could all be done quickly during ongoing work activities.

I also liked that many important tools were already integrated into the same platform, including hosting, forms, analytics, SEO tools, and domain management. That reduced the need to coordinate multiple separate services.Another practical advantage was the AI-assisted content and layout support. It helped speed up page structuring, text suggestions, and visual organization during initial setup and later revisions.

From a UI/UX perspective, the platform feels approachable even for non-developers, but still flexible enough to create professional-looking pages. The template system and media-management features also reduced the time required to prepare and publish updates.

Performance remained stable overall, and the mobile responsiveness tools were helpful while reviewing layouts across devices.

**What do you dislike about Wix?**

One challenge I noticed is that once websites become larger and more customized, managing layout consistency across sections can require extra manual adjustments.

The editor can also occasionally feel slightly heavy during larger page modifications or while working with multiple media elements.
I also felt that deeper customization flexibility is still somewhat limited compared to fully custom-developed websites, especially for advanced workflow integrations or highly specialized functionality.

**What problems is Wix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Wix, updating website content or creating professional pages usually depended on external technical support or manual coding activities, which slowed down small operational changes and content updates.
For example, while managing project portfolios, business information updates, service descriptions, and inquiry forms, even small modifications required additional coordination effort.

Wix solved this by giving direct control over website management, content updates, forms, analytics, and branding activities inside one platform. Instead of depending on separate hosting, editing, and deployment workflows, most activities could be managed directly through the editor.

This improved turnaround time for updates, reduced dependency on external development support, and simplified ongoing website maintenance activities.

From an operational standpoint, it reduced the effort required to maintain an updated professional online presence while improving visibility, organization, and communication through the website itself.

**What do you like best about Wix?**

Wix enables business owners, organisations, and other individuals irrespective of their experience with website design to create websites for their business and various other projects. Designing the website is simple. And the wix website design tool enables one to customise, update,and upgrade, the website at any point in the design process using an owner application tool which is available for  most devices. This gives the developer full access and control of their website. Additional features such as payment portals, enables business owners to utilise just this one application for a multitude of essential daily functions.

**What do you dislike about Wix?**

It is a challenge to get into contact with customer support in the event that it is required, making  challenges more difficult to resolve. I feel that the company could provide more personalized customer service that is more readily available. Additionally, I find it challenging to access my account on the web due to the 2step verification process being a bit complicated.

**What problems is Wix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Wix is enabling me to market my business on an exponentially larger scale,as well as to make it possible to liaise more closely with customers, giving me a better idea of the kind service customers require. This has increased customer satisfaction greatly, and I have also gained new customers.
Wix also enables one to receive and pay for business related costs using the application,simply by linking your business account to the application. One can now also use the application for payroll purposes, as well as to accept payments from customers across different platforms.

**What do you like best about Wix?**

I really like how easy Wix is to use, especially since it doesn't complicate things with overly advanced web development features in the UX. This simplicity helps lower the barriers to entry for new website builders like me, reducing anxiety and fear. Its simplicity is its beauty, and I love the ability to create advanced graphics like Parallax without needing to dive into complex HTML code. I found it impressive that Wix was one of the first websites to effectively incorporate AI, making it simple to rapidly build a website tailored to my needs. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy. Their help guides are extremely simple to follow, and they offer coupons and discounts to third parties needed for website setup.

**What do you dislike about Wix?**

I mean some additional complexity would be nice and also it would be great if there was some magic wand to make the website look like it was 'less blocky' and obviously that's hard to do given that is how Wix's development engine works via blocks, but it would be nice to see a feature added for that.

**What do you like best about Wix?**

I love this platform for its user friendly interface which allows anyone with little knowledge to create a beautiful site with ease. The availability of AI chat allows user to brain storm and provide clarity as of what kind of website the user will be building.
I also love the fact that this platform provides many necessary features which is quite important in building a site like booking calendars and Payments.
The ability of this platform to manage apps or pipeline is also worth mentioning. Other than this I love the fact that this platform provides automation that makes work easier. The analytics provided by this platform allows user to prepare a good strategy with informed decisions.

I love most part of this platform but I wish that the exact price of usage and utilizing the features could be known as that will avoid the escalation of price beyond the budget. I also wish that  the platform had a more faster and stable speed. Other than this I wish more customization was possible.

I also noticed that managing bookings and updating availability feels smoother once everything is set up. Small edits in service details or timings can be done quickly, which helps when clinic schedules change unexpectedly.

It would be helpful if the mobile layout adjusted more automatically without needing manual tweaks. Also, the editor speed can be improved slightly when working on multiple sections. A bit more guidance inside the dashboard for first-time users would make the experience smoother.

For me, Wix solved the problem of setting up a website without needing technical knowledge. I did not want to depend on someone else every time I needed to change a small detail. It made it easier to put everything in one place and keep it organized.
Instead of explaining services and timings separately, I can structure the information clearly. If something needs to be updated, I can do it myself without much effort. The most helpful feature is the Templates option for creating a website: you can simply pick a template and customize it to match your requirements. The drag-and-drop functionality for adding sections or removing them is very accessible and straightforward. It’s not complex at all; it’s genuinely easy to use. The most surprising feature I came across was the inbuilt media library and the generative art tools for website content. It makes things super easy and relevant, especially for a non-tech developer.

**What do you dislike about Wix?**

The main thing I dislike is that it sometimes lags in between while performing tasks like customizing your website. Other than that, there’s nothing else I’ve encountered so far. They just need to optimize it further for a better user experience.

Wix is solving one of the most common problems: the need for a high level of technical knowledge to build a website. Earlier, someone without tech knowledge couldn’t create even a single web page, but with Wix you just have to pick a template, customize it according to your needs, and the rest is taken care of by WIX. This definitely saves time, money, and resources. Earlier, a website could take weeks or even months to develop, and now that can be done in a few days. I appreciate that there are a lot of templates and ready-to-use options. It's super flexible, and you can do anything you want. I'm also glad that it handles email, domain management, and possibly shopping in the future. I like the easy-to-use functionality of Wix. It's easy to update my website, and I appreciate that it's also easy to access a customer service representative.

**What do you dislike about Wix?**

I believe that Wix can improve by allowing an integration with Microsoft Teams. Since Microsoft Teams is free. Right now, Wix offers an integration with Zoom. However, in order to have longer Zooms, you do have to pay for Zoom. So it would be nice if Wix could integrate with MS Teams, for a cheaper and more affordable option.

I use Wix to manage daily business functions, handle client payments, maintain a CRM for client databases, and allow clients to fill out intake forms.

The website is easy to build and maintain. The AI emails create quick email blasts for updated inventory. There is a ton of storage for picture and documents and free media to use. Set up was a breeze and we did not need to hire someone to do our website! The pricing is lumped together with our domain and licensing making is easy to solve issues. Sometimes it can be slow to load but it is normally internet connection relate.

Sometimes it can be slow to load. You cannot change the font size on buttons in the email blast.

I like that Wix has a lot of templates available, and it's very plug and play and easy to use for someone who has never built a website before. The templates and user-friendly nature make Wix valuable to me because I don't have to use a lot of brainpower or research how to code or use HTML since it's all very user-friendly. The initial setup was super easy, kind of like paint by number, making it simple to go from signing up to having a live website.

**What do you dislike about Wix?**

The frustrations that I have when using Wix all come from not being able to customize things the way that I would like. And not having an explanation. I think if there was a way to know that it's a user error versus something that can't be done, I think that would make a lot of difference for me.

One of the main challenge with wix is that its interface as is very complex and there are lots of different type of plugins and other elements editing options available on its local designing server where we didn't website so for understanding each and every feature you will have to watch more than 30 hours long YouTube video so that you can understand about all the customisation options and design a good website for your business

**What do you like best about Wix?**

I use Wix for launching, creating, maintaining, and updating websites for people. I find it somewhat user-friendly and appreciate the customization it allows for my customers. Wix is great because it has a low cost to entry, making it perfect for first-time users wanting to launch a website. It offers a lot of basic features necessary for website building and getting found online and is much less frustrating to work on compared to WordPress. The initial setup of Wix was rather simple.

**What do you dislike about Wix?**

I've had clients have 2 and 3 menus, have items off in left field, had huge blank spaces, all because the system allows you to do that. The system should constrain users a bit so that this type of thing doesn't happen. Having custom menus and the ability to place things where you want is great AND when you can just put things all over with no constraints makes for horrible looking websites that take a lot of work to clean up and confuses users that have little to no knowledge on how websites work.

**What problems is Wix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Wix provides me a place to have all my website components in one place, making it easier to complete a simple website for a customer. It's user-friendly, allows customization, has a low cost to entry, and avoids the frustration I face with platforms like WordPress.

**What do you like best about Wix?**

What I like best about Wix is how easy it is to get started and see something come together quickly.

The drag & drop editor is honestly the biggest advantage because I don’t need to think too much about structure or coding, I can just place things however needed and  then probably tweak visually. I am technically sound but for someone who’s not very technical, it would be a nice tool.

I also like that it comes with a lot of features already without needing 3rd party integrations for forms, basic SEO settings, integrations. I don’t feel like I have to install a bunch of plugins just to make a simple website.

I also want to point out about the variety of templates. They’re not all great but there are many good ones to get a base setup ready faster especially for personal sites..

Overall, it feels very beginner friendly and easy to work with which is I think is its biggest strength.

**What do you dislike about Wix?**

Once I start building more seriously, I mean larger websites, I feel a bit limiting with the features.

Like mainly, I have issues and difficulty with data migration. Webflow and wordpress offers beeter data migration, this is one of the things I would like Wix to improve

Another thing is performance, when the websites become a bit larger, it starts to feel a bit heavy or slower than expected. I think it could be optimized better.

Mainly it is making website creation accessible without needing much technical knowledge. For many of my newbie contractors, it's easy to start building basic sites.

Then, I don’t have to worry about setting up hosting, installing anything or managing backend stuff separately. Everything is kind of inside Wix which saves time.

It’s also useful when I just want to test something and build a quick site without overthinking structure or scalability.

So overall, it benefits me in terms of speed and simplicity especially for smaller use cases when I don’t want to spend too much of my time.

I use Wix daily in my professional work as a website builder for client projects. I manage multiple active client websites from my Wix account, including business websites, blogs, landing pages and small online stores. I’m logged into the Wix dashboard throughout the day to update content, adjust layouts, manage settings and respond to client requests.

Getting started on new projects is fast. I usually begin with a pre-built template or, for some projects, the AI website builder to generate an initial structure. From there, I customize the design, pages and sections based on client requirements. This approach saves time while still allowing full creative control.

Day-to-day tasks like editing content, rearranging sections in the editor, checking site settings and managing multiple sites from one dashboard are straightforward. Everything is organized clearly, which is important when I’m switching between several client websites in one day.

For e-commerce or paid services, I also set up payments for clients. Wix’s PayPal integration works reliably, which is essential since many of my international clients specifically request PayPal. When I need help, Wix’s help articles and support resources are easy to access and helpful while I’m actively working inside the platform.

One downside I’ve noticed when managing client websites long-term is that domain renewal costs can be higher compared to some standalone domain providers. Additionally, very advanced custom functionality sometimes requires third-party apps or workarounds rather than being handled directly within the editor.

From my Wix account, I can handle everything in one place for my clients, which simplifies my workflow significantly. Starting new projects is quick and ongoing maintenance is easy because all sites are accessible from a single dashboard.

The templates and AI builder help me launch sites faster, while the editor allows enough flexibility to customize each project to fit different client needs. Because everything is centralized and easy to manage, I can respond to updates or client requests quickly, even when handling multiple websites at the same time. This saves time, reduces stress and keeps my work organized.

WIX is a platform that help us in building our website for our company. You will have to create the design of the website with limited templates available on this software. Also after selecting a template it becomes very difficult to change it later on. You will have to design your website according to the available templates only. This is the major disadvantage of this tool according to my experience

I like that Wix has everything you need all under one roof. I also value their customer services because if I've got any problems, they're very quick to help and resolve them. The apps make things easier, like for drop shipping and SEO, to support my website.

I'm the one-man band, and sometimes I feel so overwhelmed with everything that needs doing, such as all the accessibility, the SEOs. Everything. I just feel sometimes I'm overwhelmed by everything and that I'm drowning in everything that needs doing. Also, it was very difficult for me to set up initially because I didn't know what I was doing. I've never had a website before, so I was blind, and there was little to help. Finding how to actually set up the layout of your website and how Wix can help you to do that wasn't immediately visible. You have to actually hunt for it. Some of the apps are very expensive.

Creating an account with Wix was easy, and it wasn't outrageously expensive to get started. The initial account opening wasn't expensive.

Creating the website was difficult and the new AI platform made it more challenging than ever. It was a very frustrating and difficult experience that I eventually had to abandon. Customer service acknowledged there was a problem with the AI but didn't have a fix for it. The refund policy wouldn't allow me to get my money back because I was outside the fourteen-day window. The premium pricing and payments made the costs well over $400. I found the initial setup to be a nightmare.

The customer service at Wix is not very good. If you need help or if you want to try to talk to somebody at Wix, it is almost impossible to get a hold of anybody. They put you in chatbots and automated features, none of which will answer your question at times. And there's no way to talk to somebody unless you become fairly angry.

I like Wix for its safety because they handle it automatically, so I don't have to worry about updates. The design is super friendly for a graphic designer without coding knowledge, and the SEO is incredibly Google-friendly. I also appreciate the simplicity and the super features it offers. Initially, the setup was challenging back in 2018, but now it's super easy, which makes the process even better for me.

Flexibility.  I'm one of the ancient Americans who doesn't need and can't afford the quite wonderfully robust marketing plans available.  Yet I am very happy with the functionality and support for my Light plan.

There is nothing I can write here.  I've been a customer of Wix for many years, and once I got through the initial learning curve, have been a happy user all that time.  Customer support has been great the few times I've needed advice.  There are always more features than I can use, yet I'm constanly experimenting with new features as they com along.

I have been on the Premium Plan for years.  As those years have rooled along I've become an ancient American.  I no longer have need for the robust marketing feature offered with that plan, and no longer can aford them.  Santiago, a Wix Custormer Service champion introduced me to the Light Plan and walked me through makeing the transition.  The trnsition included purchasing more storage and he likewise helped me with that.  I plan to be with Wix for every day I remain on the planet.

WIX as a company/customer service... every time that I have requested to speak to a representative, I have had access to some of the best, most patient, and courteous support people.  Truly.  Even when my issue isn't fully resolved, I know that it is only a matter of time before they will get back with me with a direction or an answer.

WIX has built both a great software and a powerful team of people to back it up.  It is exactly what makes your services a 10 out of 10.  As I have been in tech support of software products for 15 years and I really never give a perfect score, so understand... I do not give that lightly.

If you don't need any customization, Wix can be appealing.  But, I found it to not have many options.

This was absolutely the worst company I have worked with to aid my business.  After 5 years of using them, I still never had a working version of the website I was trying to create.  It was a waste of money, and when I tried to cancel my account, they made me jump through so many hopes instead of making it easy to delete and cancel the account.  I choose to sign up for 3 year terms, assuming that I could cancel at any time and be prorated the difference as a refund, they would not issue me a refund even though I had 2 years left on my plan.  It's just going to go to waste now.  They had horrible customer support.

I use Wix for building websites for my clients, and it solves the need for coding with easy drag and drop options to edit and modify over 1000 templates that Wix provides. I like how the AI understands our true needs and offers the best template options. Wix provides a bug-free experience for our clients, which means we never need to look back to fix anything. The initial setup of Wix was pretty easy.

**What do you dislike about Wix?**

I don't like that Wix could reduce the hosting prices. The hosting prices are sometimes misleading, giving an offer for the first year without clearly stating that they will increase the next year, which gives a false price hope for customers. They should be really transparent about how much they will charge us the next year too, not only the first year.

**What do you like best about Wix?**

I use Wix for website design and to scale my business because it solves the problem of un-complicating website design. I like their simple features and their customer service. Chris was great, and he helped me restore my site right before a partnership launch. It's hard to design with restrictions, but when I use Wix, I don't feel restricted. Furthermore, when I need help, I prefer real assistants, not AI, and they have just that. This is why I was able to save a site with the help of my buddy Chris!

**What do you dislike about Wix?**

I think Wix should develop their own YouTube channel for commonly asked questions with videos for easy access. This would save us as designers countless hours. The website gives open reign to the design. Since it's so open - which is a good thing - sometimes it's hard to know the full capability of what I could be doing with my site.

I love how Wix lets you spin up a polished site in minutes—no coding needed, just drag-and-drop. The templates look great right out of the box. The all-in-one hosting with built-in SSL and automatic updates takes the tech headache off my plate, so I can focus on the content or the business instead of server maintenance.

**What do you dislike about Wix?**

- Customization limits – the drag-and-drop editor is great for quick sites, but once you start tweaking the underlying code or trying really specific layouts, you hit a wall. A more flexible CSS/HTML editor (or at least a 'custom code' block that works everywhere) would help power users.  - E-commerce pricing – the transaction fees on the lower-tier plans can add up, especially for small businesses just starting out. Offering a flat-rate or lower-cost add-on for payment processing could make it more attractive.  - Template switching – if you’ve already built a site and later want to switch to a different template, you often lose content or formatting. A 'template migration assistant' that preserves your pages and styles would be a big win.  - App marketplace – some of the third-party apps are a bit pricey or have limited functionality. Expanding the native integrations and giving developers a way to offer free-tier options could improve the ecosystem.

**What do you like best about Wix?**

I love that I could make a website using Wix effortlessly without knowing tech. The user interface and ease of accessing things are great. It was difficult to begin as a beginner, but I got the hang of it slowly, and it was fun using it. The drag-and-drop feature is incredible. The user interface, management, ease of building, exploration, and awesome templates were the first things that drew me towards Wix.

**What do you dislike about Wix?**

Firstly, the pricing is on the high side, making it harder to justify the cost, especially with the annual fee of $50-$60. Secondly, their customer management and the retention of new features and integrations are lacking. I find it difficult to explore more effects and do stuff beyond my limits. It's also very painful to transfer the whole web app because it's proprietary and behind a paywall, and the vendor lock is really bothersome.
