"AI-Powered Video Repurposing with Easy Editing and Customisation"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Wistia?

The repurpose, edit and customisation experience. AI intelligence helps identify key moments in the video. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wistia?

I miss the old UI and colours. The AI translations are a little expensive. Performance of the translations are decent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Enterprise-centric Video Hosting"
4/5
What do you like best about Wistia?

Wistia makes it easy to upload videos and manage content across multiple user bases. The new channel features (and the way items are organized) make them easy to manage, and the analytics are always helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wistia?

While video channels are in a good state now, they had a rocky start. The feature was announced and initially implemented kind of poorly--it required multiple copies of the same video if you wished to include it in several channels. Wistia then fixed this by releasing the video folders features, but did so without warning anyone in advance (and breaking direct links to media we were using in the process). I hope they can learn from this in the future, but there seems to be a recurring habit of releasing features haphazardly and without consideration to additional use cases. "User-Friendly Video Management with Stellar Analytics"
5/5
What do you like best about Wistia?

I use Wistia to host and manage website videos, marketing, and webinars. Wistia's analytics and engagement tracking are very helpful. I really appreciate how we can see how long viewers watch, where they drop off, and which videos perform better. The interface is clean and easy to use, which makes embedding videos on our website simple. Wistia's analytics show us vital information about viewer engagement, like watch time and drop-off points, helping us improve our content and optimize messaging based on real data. We switched from BrightCove to Wistia, finding it more user-friendly and better suited for our marketing needs, especially for video analytics, engagement tracking, and content management. The setup was quick and easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wistia?

More flexible reporting, better export options, and deeper integration with marketing tools would improve the overall experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Video Hosting with Seamless Sharing"
5/5
What do you like best about Wistia?

Wistia is great and simple to use, and I use it every day at work to upload videos. The sharing process is super easy, and I love how you can edit and customize the video after you have uploaded it. It can house a lot of videos in one place and makes it easy to share these videos with others. The editing is super simple and intuitive, allowing me to add chapters, edit titles after upload, and edit the transcript if I need to. The initial setup was very straightforward, easy, and quick. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wistia?

The AI voiceover is good but it tends to speed up or slow down the audio, which affects the music that might be in the clip. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Media Management with Superb Auto-Transcription"
5/5
What do you like best about Wistia?

I really appreciate Wistia's auto transcription service. It's accurate, clear, and very useful for my workflow. I use it regularly, and it plays a significant role in how we manage our media content. I also value how Wistia streams content, making it easy to share or stream videos. The ability to edit with Wistia, including thumbnails and screen grabs, has seen improvements over time. They've also shown growth by incorporating AI-based tools, which is an exciting development to keep up with current tech trends. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wistia?

I've always had a little confusion over how things are sorted out in Wistia, especially with folders and subfolders. There's terminology that Wistia uses that I can't remember off the bat, like the names for different kinds of folders or projects. I wish Wistia would allow me to create as many subfolders and categories as I need for digital media management. It seems overly confusing to make folders and then subdivide them further. "Versatile Video Hub with Powerful Branding Tools"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Wistia?

I like how Wistia provides one centralized location for all of our videos with easy links to share internally, via social, with customers, etc. The editing and personalization features make it easy to turn a simple phone recording into a branded asset. I find it easy to add, edit, and download transcripts, as well as add CTAs and track video views. Personalization allows for easy addition of branding and accessibility features like video captions. Transcripts help me generate written collateral from video content, including social media posts and quotes. Viewing analytics show me which videos are getting the most traffic and confirm whether employees are engaging with training materials. Setup was very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wistia?

I find the pricing tiers to be conservative, so I end up paying for overages each month, even though we don't have enough content to justify moving to the next tier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly with Robust Video Analytics"
5/5
What do you like best about Wistia?

I really appreciate Wistia's analytics and the user interface. It's easy to track and organize everything. As an agency, being able to log in and see all of the accounts I'm attached to makes my life super easy. The initial setup was super simple and easy to understand. I highly recommend Wistia; it's my favorite video hosting software out there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wistia?

I think the only thing that comes to mind for me is similar to what you can do with Videlytics. Some of those other platforms where you can do fake timers to basically say, like, oh, you're halfway through the video. In reality, you're only a fourth of the way through. That would be a good one. "Effortlessly Organize and Customize Webinars"
4/5
What do you like best about Wistia?

I like how the template for live webinar landing page registration is really easy to update and edit. It's much more user-friendly compared to Splash, a platform we used before. The platform itself is really easy to onboard to; our team switched over and was able to get comfortable with it within just a few days. It provides all the customizations we need in a landing page and enables us to quickly stand up new pages, which is super helpful for our team. Additionally, Wistia works really well for our use case, and its UI is easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wistia?

I think potentially having the ability to do some more customizations with the follow-up emails that are sent out would be useful for us. After a webinar is completed, we end up sending the follow-up emails ourselves in Marketo versus leveraging the automated sends that Wistia offers because we want to put, like, a title card and an end card on the recording, add some additional links. So if we were able to just edit that directly in the platform and have it sent out automatically right after the webinar is completed, that would be really helpful for our team. "Seamless Recording and Editing with Wistia"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Wistia?

I find the recording feature in Wistia super seamless, which makes it easy for our team, including different users, to log in and record on their own using a shared login under our marketing team. The editing capabilities are definitely the best part, allowing me to review the transcript, cut out any errors or skips, and enhance the audio, which is quite nice. I love how I can clean up background noise, making it pretty easy to record in one take and then clean it up afterward. The initial setup was extremely easy, which is a big plus for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wistia?

I think the sort of individual audio layering could be improved. So I don't believe that there's a way to edit the sort of sound level for different clips. So if I import an existing clip into a new webinar, there could be different volume levels depending on the recorder. So I think that is something that I can't really resolve. Also think that things like the sizing of the video seem pretty consistent, but I could foresee issues there if, you know, each video is kinda treated as a separate asset. "Effortless Video Hosting and Content Creation with Wistia"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Wistia?

I like how easy Wistia is to use. I like the availability of being able to share directly from the Wistia page via embedding or links. I also appreciate Wistia's content creator, where you can create a video right on the fly, right within the Wistia tool itself, and we've done that a number of times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wistia?

I'm still struggling with the audio edit within Wistia's design video tool. I would love to have a little more control over the audio. Being able to record the audio AFTER the screen/ content has been recorded would be fantastic for me, so that the audio can be edited independently of the video itself. I need to line things up to be heard at just the right moments without all the empty air, ums, and mispronunciations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
