a PC tool that is useful in addition to anti-virus software, but like all similar programs to maintain the health of a PC, it is only as good as the vendor keeps on top of the updates. It cleans up junk files, traces of internet tracking, driver updates, and registry issues. as with any software of this type, you must install the latest update before running it the first time as you know the CD in the package is probably out of date. Doing this, I have had no problems except with Intel HD graphics and WiDi drivers where there were newer drivers that WinZip hadn't caught yet. Amazon had a great price on a three user (or 3 PC) version. Remember, this is a service you have to renew annually, so this is the most economical way of doing so. Recommended. WinZip is extremely easy to use and well-integrated with Windows. It's easy to create and share zip files and allows access to advanced processing options not offered by Windows built-in zip features, such as AES encryption, text encoding, self extraction, multi-part files, and social/cloud integration. It is an easy to use tool to extract and compress data files. In fact it was my go-to tool several years ago but nowadays the tools built into Windows work for most of my needs. The UI is easy to use and figure out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The program is small in size, has a clean interface, works efficiently in the background, fairly straightforward to use, has a fairly inexpensive yearly fee, has many useful features such as disk cleaner and optimizer, and backup & recovery functions and maintenance scheduler. Most of the features are already included into Windows 10 for those computer savvy and don't want to spend the money. You can usually use msconfig to remove a lot of startup programs to make your computer run more efficiently. Also the yearly subscription model isn't great if you just want to own the product since you have to pay every year or else certain functions (such as the driver updater) will no longer work.
