WinSale product description (approx. 420 words) WinSale is point of sale and retail management software built specifically for independent footwear and safetywear retailers. Developed by Magnum Software Systems, WinSale has served the shoe industry for more than 40 years and is used by shoe stores, work boot dealers, orthopedic and comfort footwear retailers, and multi-store footwear chains across the United States and Canada. Unlike general purpose retail POS systems, WinSale is designed around how shoe stores actually operate. Inventory is tracked in a true style, color, size and width matrix, so staff can check stock, ring a sale, or order a fill-in without fighting the software. Footwear POS features include special orders, layaways, customer purchase history, vendor catalog and UPC lookup, purchase orders and receiving, physical inventory counts, and store transfers. WinSale also includes a complete safety shoe program module for industrial safetywear dealers. Dealers can set up major accounts with subsidy and allowance rules, per-employee authorization limits, payroll deduction tracking, and consolidated account billing. Employees are verified at the register, the correct subsidy is applied automatically, and the balance is invoiced to the company account. This makes WinSale a practical choice for work boot dealers running corporate safety footwear programs, mobile shoe trucks, and on-site fitting events. Multi-store retailers get consolidated inventory visibility, inter-store transfers, and company-wide reporting. Reporting covers sales by class, salesperson, store, department, and pay period, along with gross margin, sell-through, aged inventory, and accounts receivable aging. A built-in loyalty program and customer marketing exports support repeat business and email campaigns. Payment processing is integrated through Gravity Payments, OpenEdge, and PiPlus, with EMV chip, contactless, and gift card support. WinSale connects to WooCommerce for e-commerce inventory and order synchronization, so online and in-store stock stay aligned. Hardware support includes Epson and Star thermal receipt printers, Zebra barcode label printers, cash drawers, scanners, and customer displays. WinSale runs on Windows and can be deployed on store hardware or hosted on WinSale Cloud. The cloud option is fully managed by Magnum Software Systems and includes nightly backups, software updates, security patching, and remote monitoring, which removes the need for an in-store server or outside IT provider. Support is provided directly by the people who build the software. There is no outsourced call center and no tiered support upsell. Training, data conversion from an existing POS system, and ongoing phone and remote support are included with the subscription.
