I liked how engaging Yamini was, I think this helped to ensure that I was focussed and practising what we learnt throughout the course. It was great to meet some other members from different organisations and learn from them as well. It may be helpful to spread it out a little more, I liked the pace but as I had a lot on with ramping up to the new role, it may have been good to have a little more time between sessions to ensure that I was taking in as much as I could from the pre-work. I think it may also be good to have snippets of real life examples of users using the techniques that we learnt, these could even be reinacted through a roleplay and recorded. Recommendations to others considering Winning by Design: I would reccomend Winning by Design, I have also gone through their CSM course which was equally as valuable. I am soon moving into a Team Lead position at my company and our management team wanted me to be prepared moving into this role, by putting me on this course ahead of time. The trainers are incredible, as well as the platform itself. The first thing they teach you is how people learn -- then they show you how we'll utilize that knowledge to make our time training together more impactful. Their process exposes you to the information multiple times and in various ways (read, watch, talk it out). The collateral provided is helpful to reference back to as well. Winning by Design's courses and instructors (Thank you, Lars!) help us learn and create frameworks where our sales skills can thrive. I've completed two courses - one for Customer Success and, most recently, Selling for Impact. Personally, it helped me add "levers" to my negotiation toolbox. I loved that it has the online learning component to all the lessons, you are learning with other individuals, and that it was only a small commitment of 2 hours a week. Our coach, Antoine, was also phenomenal. He did a great job keeping the momentum moving forward, keeping us engaged, and made an effort to keep the lesson exciting and beneficial to our everyday work structure. Recommendations to others considering Winning by Design: I did a ton of research on which program to move forward with and I found that WBD was a program that provides you with the fundamentals to coach on impact, structure your 1:1, make role plays fun for your team, and gives you a detailed guide and resources on how to implement WBD after the completion of the course. The WBD sales management training helped set the foundation for how to effectively set up a coaching sales environment.
