You have to keep track of your usage to avoid running too many tests or using 100% of your traffic—otherwise, you can’t continue testing unless you pay extra. Additionally, some features require a higher-tier subscription, but we only need those occasionally, for one or two tests a year. Paying for an upgraded plan just to access these features feels like overkill. Another downside of VWO is that some tests cause flickering on the pages, which can affect the user experience. VWO is a fantastic tool for web experimentation. The platform is intuitive, reliable, and thoughtfully designed to support both technical and non-technical users. Setting up and launching our first test was seamless, and the reporting interface provides a clear, actionable snapshot of performance. Beyond the product itself, the support experience has been outstanding—particularly the training sessions, which were incredibly helpful in getting our team up to speed. This tool allows our company to “fail fast” - in other words, to quickly identify what works and what doesn’t. Initially, I started using it to help us evaluate which changes should be passed on to our tech and product teams. The benefit? A more streamlined workflow, where we only invest the time and cost of our tech teams into changes that genuinely add value. Failing fast is crucial - by quickly ruling out what doesn’t work, we can spot early signs of growth and double down on the things that show promise.
