Very Good Phone System Solution **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2021 **What do you like best about Windstream OfficeSuite UC?** Windstream Office Suite UC allows us to set up and control our phone system in ways a conventional key system never would. We have an online interface with lots of flexibility options, routing and re-routing options (in case of an emergency or problem at a particular location, for example), and the ability to use the system across a variety of devices. Please note Windstream has transitioned their name to "Kinetic for Business." It is the same product as OfficeSuite UC. **What do you dislike about Windstream OfficeSuite UC?** Support seems a bit clunky if something goes wrong. There is a chat window option, and Windstream asks users to try that before contacting them. I would love for this to be more streamlined and responsive. Also, the documentation on using the system effectively could be better. We've had to design our own manual with tips and tricks. **Recommendations to others considering Windstream OfficeSuite UC:** If you are changing from a traditional key system, be prepared to rethink everything you know about phone systems, as this is an entirely different platform. If you are considering OfficeSuite UC and using another VOIP system, you might find, as we did, that the basic design and functionality of the system checks a lot of boxes compared to its competition. **What problems is Windstream OfficeSuite UC solving and how is that benefiting you?** In the age of Covid, remote work capability has become a huge advantage, and the Office Suite UC system has allowed us to pivot on numerous occasions when some or all of our workforce needed to be home instead of in the office. We are an insurance agency group with five offices spread across three counties in rural Ohio, and we've also been able to cope with power outages or other reasons one or more offices needed to be closed. We can reroute calls anywhere we need to and keep right on working. ### 2. Much lighter than Microsoft Office, this application for smartphones provides a lot of useful features to view, create and edit Microsoft Office files such as Word, Excel, Power Point. It allows you to download and view any text document, presentation or spreadsheet and modify it with great features and ease. The free version offers enough tools to be able to use it. It has complete compatibility with all Microsoft formats and even allows you to export documents in PDF format. It has full compatibility with other formats such as RTF, TXT, EML, ZIP, among others, as well as with OpenOffice and LibreOffice formats such as ODT, ODS and ODP. It offers a Chat that allows you to send documents, collaborate in the modification of documents and exchange ideas with co-workers. It has an integrated spelling checker with more than 40 available languages, offers the possibility of sharing documents through the cloud with services such as MobilSystems, Drive, DropBox, Aamazon Cloud Drive, One Drive and Google Drive **What do you dislike about Windstream OfficeSuite UC?** There are times when it presents installation problems and free version has annoying ads. **Recommendations to others considering Windstream OfficeSuite UC:** Recommended for those jobs of editing and creation of documents in Word, Excel or Power Point quickly and with any smart phone. **What problems is Windstream OfficeSuite UC solving and how is that benefiting you?** OfficeSuite has allowed us to share and edit documents with our Android devices quickly and easily before conferences or courses.
