I find it very simple to operate, and the GUI of the interface is getting better and better with new updates compared to the old version of Windows. I use Windows 11 on every computer I own personally and at work. Compared to Windows 10, I think the UI has improved with a more sleek and easy look. I like the simplicity because I don't have to think too hard or do any workarounds to do what I need to do. It's super easy to set up, and as someone who previously used Windows 10, Windows 11 just made some quality of life improvements, and the update to it was super quick. It works well with all the software I use. Things like shared drive and Office 365 work seamlessly. Windows 11 is the latest iteration of the Windows OS for PC from Microsoft. Best thing about it is that it has been around and regardless of the changes from version to version its UI is still pretty intuitive to use and performs well. It is the central point of integration for all applications inside the windows environment and while decently priced when bough separately, it typically comes bundled with a new PC and has decent ROI combined with the lifetime of a PC. Things to dislike from Windows 11 is that in its current itteration Micrsofot has blotted it with a loot of upselling and phone home technology that gives Microsoft a lot of information it should just take from users. Privacy on the OS has been eroded and its hidden costs in the form of software subscriptions for applications from the manufacturer are upsetting users and driving some away. Moreover, as a cybersecurity student, I appreciate the more robust security framework with features like TPM 2.0, secure boot, Virtualisation-based security, and hypervisor-protected code integrity, ensuring protection against unauthorized boot software and malicious code execution. I appreciate the AI-driven app features that ease manual efforts. The taskbar and menu bar are more refined compared to older versions. Setting up a new PC and using Windows Backup is much easier and faster. The initial setup is straightforward and convenient, following a plug & play design with step-by-step guidance and companion apps. Its fragmented user experience due to mixed design elements is bothersome. Also, the requirement for an internet connection and a Microsoft account for setup hinders offline setup.
