They were among the original leaders in the space and helped craft the foundation and format upon which most of the current digital meeting tools are built. It was one of the most frictionless solutions and remains so today. It's easy to setup meetings and easy for people to join without complicated links, having to download desktop apps or jump through hoops. Back in the day, all of this was free. Today they have a pricing model that makes sense and so while this is no longer entirely free, it does provide very good value, especially compared to the field. **What do you dislike about Whereby Meetings?** I don't really love that some of the legacy features have been gated from legacy users. Other than quite some time since they made this switch from appear to whereby, there were many early adopters who had built a number of business processes and systems based on the early app and relied upon many of those features in the ability to have custom links and things. That is slowly either gone away or been placed behind a paywall. Also there are so many new tools that bring many new features send them I think whereby is somewhat tied to its legacy design and structure and maybe inhibited from introducing some of that new features that tools such as Sessions, Around, or BeLive have. **What problems is Whereby Meetings solving and how is that benefiting you?** Whereby remains one of the easiest to use digital conferencing platforms. At least for use, we use React Native and are using WhereBy with the help of a react webview - which makes the experience for the end user less seamless. Whereby helped us connect with more applicants **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Josie K. | Aquisition Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2021 **What do you like best about Whereby Meetings?** I liked that Whereby automatically connected with our applicant tracking system to make it easy to schedule time with applicants all in one place. **What do you dislike about Whereby Meetings?** I wish that Whereby had more calendar integrations. We use the Google suite, and it wasn't easy to integrate whereby's video schedules to our google calendar. It would be nice if there were a way to include the video call link into the calendar invite. **What problems is Whereby Meetings solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have begun screening more candidates through Whereby, as it connects automatically with our applicant tracking software. We do not have to send applicants to a third party or another website to schedule a time with us because of the integration.
