W2W has a lot of different options when it comes to scheduling. From a visual perspective, you can see the schedules from a day, weekly, or monthly view. You also have the option to see everyone scheduled at once, or make it more of a personal schedule. It has neat features like setting preferences for work times in addition to the regular availability. You are able to see all staff info as well as trade shifts. The look of the software is outdated and the trading/messaging process could be a bit smoother. The mobile application did not always notify me when I had a new trade to approve or a new message waiting. We have a lot of deleted employees and it take a very long time to load them if we need to restore one. Also, it is frustrating that you can not delete multiple employees from the program at once. What I like the best is that you can choose your preferred times to work. You can also see how many hours a week you are scheduled, and send messages directly to your managers. I really like the mobil interface of this site. It is incredibly easy to use on your phone, to look at current shifts, trade shifts, and pick up shifts. I enjoy the notifications that the application sends when you have a new shift scheduled or when a schedule change has been approved. The app does not update as quickly with new shifts as I would like. I really enjoy the ease of use, and the ability to modify a schedule quickly and easily, with everyone able to see new changes. What I like best about WhenToWork is that all my employees and can see their schedules and the schedules of their coworkers. This lets them know and to be able to plan their day due to who is scheduled, has time off for the day. What I also really like about WhenToWork is that we 10 different sections schedules that employees fall under and you can see the group you need at one time which makes it nice. Instead of seeing all fifty plus employees I can just see just the employees that I supervise. If I need to another group I can do that too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about WhenToWork by TCP? The main thing that I dislike about WhenToWork is imputing schedules for long periods of time are not easy enough. If you do not have full access you can only put in the person schedule week by week. The person that has full access can put in a persons schedule for months at a time. Recommendations to others considering WhenToWork by TCP: This really works great when you have different "groups" of employees that do not need to see all employees on but maybe just the "group" they fall undfer. We have many different levels of employees and allows us to see each employees titles at one time.
