It has saved our team so much time and eliminated confusion about shifts or availability. The interface is clean, fast, and user-friendly, even for people who aren’t very tech-savvy. There’s very little to dislike about When I Work, but if I had to mention something, it would be that sometimes notifications can be delayed or missed depending on the user’s phone settings. It would also be great to have a few more customization options for reports and shift views. However, these are very minor issues compared to how well the app performs overall — it’s still one of the most reliable and efficient scheduling tools out there. When I Work has solved many of the scheduling and communication problems our team used to face. Before using it, managing shifts, tracking availability, and keeping everyone informed was time-consuming and often led to confusion. Now everything is centralized — employees can easily see their schedules, request time off, and swap shifts without constant back-and-forth messages. Managers can approve changes instantly and track attendance in real time. This has saved us hours every week, reduced mistakes, and greatly improved team communication and accountability.
