I think the idea of creating a collaboration space that resembles common social media interfaces was a good idea and helps make onboarding much smoother. Once many of our Whaller users could see the layout and functionality of our Whaller account, they could quickly get assimilated into projects that we're working on and not require as much training and getting use to the system. Of course, there are several differences that put Whaller apart from other social media platforms, but those features, such as sharing files and calendars, are relatively easy to use. I would probably like to see more custom options for the layout in Whaller. I understand that Whaller is going for a social media look where people post on an activity feed and have different panels were they can add content, but I think it could be more useful if we could change layouts more drastically to suit our particular project needs. All of the collaboration features in Whaller make it much more useful and effective for business than an ordinary social media service. I like that we can add various components and information grids in our account panel to the suit our needs. We can add calendars and work scheduling charts that can help to keep all of our team members in tuned with what our entire team is doing. I haven't run into many major problems since I started using Whaller. It's a little more casual compared to other common business collaboration tools, so it's probably not the ideal communications solution when working with clients or vendors on collaborative projects. The social media design of the Whaller interface is one of the best things I like. People that are new to using Whaller often find it easier and more pleasant to use since it has a familiar and casual type of look. The way Whaller works is also very smooth and intuitive. I think that it can occasionally be cumbersome to keep up with updates and have to search through various sections for the latest information from everyone. I like that I can communicate with a set group of people as I would in a typical social network, but do it in a completely private setting without ads. On top of the standard posting capabilities where we can post text, images, links and video, Whaller also gives us business productivity tools like calendars and Kanban boards that help us to lay out and prioritize work activities. I give the rating of 5 stars because I think that Whaller is very promising and very well designed. The design is very nice. I registered on Whaller on March 21st because I happen to get tired of Facebook and on top of that, I was looking for a competing solution to Facebook and French, which does not spoil anything. It can be used for small and large communities and can easily grow! I will recommend Whaller to my communities such as associations and small businesses that use email to communicate.
