"New User Interface Makes Westlaw Near Unusuable"
1/5
What do you like best about Westlaw?

Comprehensive coverage including secondary materials Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Westlaw?

The "new" Westlaw interface is almost completely counterintuitive, and every practitioner in our firm has, without exception, essentially given up on it, even after dedicated training. It may well be that the new back-end is superior, but the new UI is simply abysmal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The only thing is unexpected logouts. It happens rarely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"It’s not a great app, the website is great tho"
4/5
What do you like best about Westlaw?

It's convenient to use and having it on your phone does make things a lot more simpler. This means that you have a greater access to the case laws and other resources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Westlaw?

The app is not upto the westlaw standards. It crashes often, and even the interface is not as good as the website. If they fix the app, there would be no better option than this! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"You can cancel, but you can never leave"
0/5
What do you like best about Westlaw?

It is a decent search platform, but Lexis gets better results with the exact same searches. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Westlaw?

They are overpriced and not worth the money. Lexis provides virtually the same services, some better, some worse at a much lower price. The natural language search in Lexis works better than Westlaw.

Very importantly, you can cancel timely, but you can never leave. First, they will continue to bill you, even though you have canceled and when you finally get that straightened out, they will continue to hit you with more pills. When you think you have it all straightened out, they'll send you another bill. I believe the idea is to harass you enough to get at least one final payment out of you just to avoid getting more bills even though you don't owe them any money.

I find the company as a whole, to be dishonest, distrustful, and generally sleazy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efective and easy"
5/5
What do you like best about Westlaw?

The most helpful thing about westlaw is how easy is to navigate in their interface. I would it recommend it for beginners law school students. Is better for federal jurisprudence than LexisNexis, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Westlaw?

The cons are that the way is structured the reading template is too heavy for the sight. It could be better it they would give various options to change the template for reading the cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
