I can't say thing we didn't like.  They did a great job of making the change and learning painless.  Taking small bites every day.

This team is the team to use, we have used other companies to help transition to new software in the past, and Western definitely did the best job with communicating with our team and training.

**What problems is Western Computer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They did an amazing job helping out team to migrate to Microsoft BC, there to help in every step along the way.  Experts at what they do!

Responsiveness, and a team that is able to understand and comprehend the physical and logistical needs of our business. Business analysis skills and well as the technical aspect of the software. Keeping commitments to us on response times, and prioritizing  our needs in times of need.

Sometimes, certain resources are in high demand, and lower priority issues may have a delay.

**Recommendations to others considering Western Computer:**

Spend extra time in the planning phase and determine how everything will impact your business. Make sure to have clear expectations on the services that are included with projects, and the TCO.

**What problems is Western Computer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a manufacturing company in Southern Californa. Western has helped up deploy and develop our ERP solutions that work within our business needs. WMS, EDI, Credit Card Processing, Financials, Web integrations have all been handled as our business needs grew and developed.

**What do you like best about Western Computer?**

Lisa, I liked working with Lisa the best. She was extremely helpful. She walked us through every procedure and was extremely patient when addressing our questions. She provided us with her personal cell phone number and is always available to hop on teams to help us resolve an issue.

The only downside is implementing a new software. Its time consuming and frustrating.

We were able to streamline several of our processes and procedures.  What used to take house, can now be imported in minutes.

They have provided different solutions across different IT applications including new hardware purchase, network support and set up and new locations, everyday IT troubleshooting, ERP assistance and solutions, etc.

I would re-iterate that have a rep who understands our end goal is a game changer. She helps bring our vision to life!

Not all things we envision can happen. I do wish we had some more customization capabilities.

If you primarily do 3PL's, Business Central isn't the right platform.

We are constantly looking to make our ERP system fit our needs. DeAndra understands our business model which makes it so easy to make modifications ultimately streamlining our processes.

Megan Griffith is quick to respond to our issues and set up a time to resolve them the same day.

Our installation was during Covid so it would of been helpful if we had a person on site for our installation.

Otherwise no issues.

Take advantage of their support consultants.  They know the system and will get back to you the same day.
Don't be afraid of asking questions and use the sandbox environment when testing.

We have been dealing with issues processing international orders and PROs. While we have determined some of the issues and were able to ship a few orders; we really need clear direction on what set-up needs to be done so we can ship international orders to various countries.

We are working on several process improvement projects with SSI in Business Central. Their knowledge, expertise and responsiveness are greatly appreciated.

**What do you like best about Western Computer?**

What I like best is their willingness to adapt and meet us where we are in terms of technology and understanding. They engage a lot of resources on large projects and every one of them demonstrates a high-level of platform expertise.

**What do you dislike about Western Computer?**

The only thing I can come up with in terms of something to dislike was the fact that early phases of the project felt a little disjointed with CE workshops and F&SCM workshops happening separately which cause some duplicaton in requirements early on. That being said, I brought it up to the project team and they addressed it right away.

**Recommendations to others considering Western Computer:**

Due your due diligence and do yourself a favor and inlcude Western Computer in any RFP process. We did and we are very grateful we partnered with Western for our massive Dynamics 365 F&SCM / CE project.

**What problems is Western Computer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our business currently lives in a very disconnected world. We use Dynamics GP for ERP and Salesforce for CRM. The pursuit of making these two very different worlds work together has resulted in extensiive process friction, ad-hoc integration support, and numerous customizations. Addressing the pain points in cross-functional processes that include both front-office and back-office activities is incredibly difficult in our current environment. When we first engaged with Western Computer, we shared with them our vision to embrace the full Dynamics 365 experience and leverage the out-of-the-box integrations between F&SCM and CE to re-implement our business processes and Western did not blink. They made us feel that they could carry us through this very complex transition and, now that we are halfway through it, I now can say they are more than just talk. They have been an amazing partner in this journey and, with their help, we know we will get where we need to go and go live on Dynamics 365.

We like our support team the best.  They have all been very helpful.

I don't have any complaints at this time.

We currently use Western Computer (previously Solution Systems) as support for Business Central as well has for our transition from Navision to Business Central.  Our main point of contact is DeAndra Wolf.  She was very helpful during our transition and solved any issues and proposed solutions routinely.  She is incredibly knowledgeable of BC capabilities and also provides excellent support.  She is very thorough in solving any problems whether it requires a customization or simple knowledge transfer.  She is very responsive.

The team was great to work with and whenever we had an issue they were quick to resolve it.

**What do you dislike about Western Computer?**

I wouldnt say its a dislike but during our transition one of the team members of Western Computer left the company. He was my favorite to work with and was sad to see him go.

Setup the initial meeting.  Have the conversation.  Ask them all the questions you have about the problem you're tring to solve.  If that conversation goes like the ones we've had, you'll be impressed.  These guys were quick to figure out what we needed, how to get us there, and how to do it as cost effectively as possible.

We first contacted Western Computer after moving our finance management into Business Central using another partner.  After months of endless problems and complications with our previous partner, we began looking for someone who could could help get us on the right track.  
We were impressed with the team from Western from the start - they were able to diagnose many of our problems in just the first few conversations.  Since then they've been able instrumental in helping repair, correct, and teach us many aspsects of how we utilize Business Central.    
I can happily report that their initial estimate of how long it would take to fix our problems seemed optimistic to us when they first proposed it - however they got it done even less time than they estimated!  We will be continue working with Western Computer.

The business opened at 6am without missing a beat.

Alan L. has been extremely crucial for me and my team to ensure a smooth transition to Business Central. While the ride has not been without its bumps, Alan’s patience, guidance and general cheerfulness has been incredible. He works through all the problems one by one and ensures not only that we solve it but that we understand what happened and what we need to fix for any future issues that may arise. Personally, I am particularly glad I had Alan as my guide for this migration, he has provided me with sanity checks when most needed and provided a kind ear when some venting on the process was required. The migration was no small feat, and I am glad he was there and will continue to be there (for a little while) for us after the migration is complete. I would highly recommend Alan for anyone wishing to have a smooth Business Central transition.

I kind of put it on the back burner to do later when I happened to be on the phone with Dan Williams at Western Comptuer solving another problem that my co-worker was having running  her Jet Reports. He was able to identify that I needed to do an update and the previous method for running Jet reports was causing my issues. He took it upon himself to fix my reports so they would run correctly. This all was done faster than I expected. I was back up and running my reports in no time.

We use western computer as our advisors with Microsoft Navision.  I've received help on learning the general ledger from one of their team members and have gotten great service.  I implemented CCH Suretax and had to use a programmer to help with the installation and she was very instrumental in making the project a success. Western Computer have become near-experts on the wine industry and its esoteric requirements - the flexibility in the software is key.  The subject matter experts are very helpful  getting things set up and explaining the systems.  They are also always open to suggestions from the trade in how to enhance the program to the chaging industry.

**What do you dislike about Western Computer?**

It seems like many of the things that we understood were "included" are not included and require additional monthly subscription fees - think integrations to outside partners.  In addition, the concept of PowerBI and its capabilities was introduced late in the game and as such we made modifcations to the BC system that were obsolete or completely unnecessary once we got into PowerBi.

**Recommendations to others considering Western Computer:**

Make sure you have a competant Project Manager working on your side of the project - if necessary, hire someone with previous BC experience and make sure your finance team is actively involved in every step.  Be ready to hold your own people accountable because this is very much an interactive experience and not a system that you just jump into.  It requires set up and theoretical accounting knowledge, so having a CFO level understanding of the finances is important to building out the system to its potential.

Western Computers is helping us to consolidate our 3 companies into one set of books and operating procedures to create more efficiency in accounting and operations.

having that one on one accessibility to train and support us with any questions we have. The sharing of the screen and step by step guidance has made a difference and impact on the overall training experience.

Not much of a dislike since im new to Carrington and the training through D365 with western computers, but perhaps an in person day to day assistance in training might be more helpful than online? it's hard to have everyone's concerns and questions addressed with a time constraint.  It would be nice to have someone on site to help with training for the whole day? but might be more costly.

I appreciate the prompt response and attention Lisa has been providing me. I think that makes a positive difference when considering support on software implementation perspective. I can also appreciate her attention to create a resolution on the spot if needed instead of waiting to have it resolved. Although, I understand there will be some resolutions that would be more suitable to adjust offline, she does most of it on the spot. Patience i think is key on both end. Im also amazed with the amount of knowledge Lisa has provided with accounting processes. Not only does she provide advise on the step by step operational key strokes on how to get something done, but also the method and reason behind it on an accounting perspective. My recommendation to someone considering western computers, is that they're in great hands with Lisa. She is the whole package.

Lisa Ramsey has been helping the Carrington team navigate our business operations through D365. She's answering, solving, implementing changes, solutions as we go live which has been both informative and helpful. Lisa caters to individual questions and assists in a resolution. if there are problems or restrictions in a set up, she will show us step by step in how to modify/fix, or she would be the one to make these specifications on the back end.

The most helpful aspect of using Western Computer for this project was the knowledge level of Lynn Li, with whom we were most closely working.  Lynn's breadth of knowledge, patience, and ability to explain things were vital to our company's success with this implementation.  

Not only did she complete every required task, but in my opinion, she consistently went above and beyond what would generally be expected of her and made sure that both myself and my Accounting Manager felt fully comfortable using the Business Central system.  I can confidently say that our implementation would not have gone nearly as smoothly if we hadn't worked with her.  

Lynn is an amazing asset to your team.

Of course, I would have loved to have had even more bandwidth with Lynn at Western Computers, but I also fully understand that she has many clients with whom she is working with.  She was VERY responsive though, there are just only so many hours in a day.

The most helpful aspect about Western is the freindliness of the staff and being able help even during frustrating circumstances.  Often times I can see where another organizations have very stressful situations whereby Western staff fixed the problem but was a sight of calmness within the situation as well.  Only making the resolution much easier.  
The upscales of using Western is having a great team that knows all aspects of the operational system so if the customer needs to jump quickly to another area, Western is quick to help in that aspect as well.  For example, I financial call might be caused from an unknown inventory control in which Western can quickly add a staff member with that expertsise should the issue be really complex.

**What do you dislike about Western Computer?**

If had to be constructive but this is only due to high demand of business needs is there is a time or two whereby needing to wait for a specific staff member to resolve a concern.  For example, Jane Doe might have been extremely helpful to resolve an issue and a company wishes to have Jane help again, but her schedule would not allow to speak to again for another day or so...

**Recommendations to others considering Western Computer:**

Often times an organization might be looking at a new operational system to use versus that of another.  Of course what assistance Western offers is extremely well but it would be good for that of the customer to know exactly what their needs are and although help given from Western, it would only help both sides in determinign best course of action for years to come.

**What problems is Western Computer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Western has been helpful on many levels.  From financial analysis, inventory control, operational flow, etc. etc.  (too many to remember to list).  This benefits my orgnaztion in many ways from lowering operational costs in resolving these issues quickly, root cause analysis to be proactive next time, and less stress overall with company activities.  Ultimately this resorts back to my orgnization saving large amounts of financial costs and some issues may never have been resolved without their help.

Felix Morales and Alan Lyckowski are amazing.  Anytime the Nucleus team has an issue, they are quick to jump in and fix.
The hands on training that they provided us was very detailed and helpful. They are extremely helpful and don't mind explaining things more than once.

Nothing! They are great and I would recommend them.

Western Computer has been a great organization and partner for the past 5 years. They have guided and assisted in using the Microsoft stack of products and software we use to run our business. From NAV / BC to PBI and CRM.

As a leader you need to control costs and ensure projects are completed within budget. Like any consultant if left unchecked they will spend. You need to monitor and hold accountable.

Western has been an amazing partner for the last 5 years. I would recommend WC for your next project. Lastly, do your homework. There are many choices out there, we did and have been very satisfied with our decision.

Western has been our Microsoft NAV partner since 2019. They are currently helping migrate use to Business Central SaaS. Additionally they have assisted with Microsoft CRM, PBI and other projects.

**What do you like best about Western Computer?**

After moving from our original MSP to Western Computer, I have been impresed in every way with their organization. The staff is some of the best in the industry. And the level of knowledge is a tool that I encourage everyone to take advantage. As a Solutions Architect for an independent company, I am contantly challeneged with tasks that take a variety of solutions. Working in a Microsoft environment as well as a modern ERP, sometime a task take a very specific specialist to get the best solution. Western Computer has always had a specific resource that is a proven expert in each scenario that I have came into. And to have the access to all of their staff has been something that has set them above the bar of all the other resources we have previously used.

**What do you dislike about Western Computer?**

A downfall that I may have for Western Computer is waiting for sessions to address specific issues. However, I will admit that this is mostly self inflicted as I am more than likely asking for a specific staff member or skil set. This obvioulsy takes time, and I can't get everything right then. However, I do always get access to these people, and they are always timely and deliver above and beyond. 
That being said, Western is always quick to respond when it comes to immediate issues. And, in all reality, it's very rare that it's more than three days to gain access to a staff member that is an expert in a specific task that I am addressing which is faster than scheduling with most third party consultants in specific areas.

**Recommendations to others considering Western Computer:**

After moving from another MSP to Western Computer, our organization has been thriving in our Business Central Dynamics 365 Business Central environment. They have went above and beyond in helping our organization utilize Business Central and countless other Microsoft services.

**What problems is Western Computer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

After spending multiple hours of going through documentation, blogs, videos, and any other references I could find online, I finally reached out to Western Computer to see if they had a resource that could explain exactly how the CRM functionality works within Business Central. My Account Rep was able to get me in contact with Phyllis Wilson. After talking with Phyllis for just a few minutes, she was able to quickly understand exactly what I was asking and gave me the information that I needed. To make it better, she delivered it to me in a way that almost instantly made sense. Phyllis' command of the CRM functionality within Business Central was better than any youTube that exists on the subject. I was so impressed by not only her conceptual explanations, which a lot of people talk about, but also her functional and technical understanding that helped me understand how to utilize CRM more effectively for our organization.
