Lack of ROI and costly service not worth it and currently in RFP for new servicing **Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Stephen L. | Assistant Vice President - People & Culture, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2026 **What do you like best about Wellhub?** That our employees can get "free" gym memberships **What do you dislike about Wellhub?** That the majority of our monthly rate is a PEPM model in which we are charged for employees to simply get access to the system - but that access comes at no value to them unless we want to purchase a gym membership subsidy that can sign up for. So we are charged $4600 for essentially nothing. Then we are charged an additional $1600 a month for all of our employees to receive a "free" $11.99 membership at the basic level. However we have 500 employees, 230 subscribed and less than $100 who actively use the product. So the cost and ROI is not there - especially for the majority fo the costs which is the wellhub standard and gets you nothing. **What problems is Wellhub solving and how is that benefiting you?** None. When we were self insured maybe you could say it encouraged more healthy behavior but were a healthcare company and offer free healthcare so that outweighs a gym membership. **Official Response from Isadora from Wellhub:** > Hi Stephen, thank you for sharing your feedback here on G2. Additionally, even outside of corporate subsidies, we do want to point out that your employees save at least 30% compared to standard individual gym memberships. We are fully committed to building a successful partnership and turning this experience around for you and your team!
